In Hollywood news, J. K. Simmons won Best Supporting Actor for Whiplash and Eddie Redmayne Best Actor for The Theory of Everything -  so very well-deserved!!

SUPER agree!! Very much deserved wins for both.

I found this year's Oscars quite serious but loved many of the meaningful speeches about freedom of expression and women's rights.

And OMG - how GUAPO was Chris Evans?!?!?! He is sooo charming pa!

nakakasmile naman ang performance ni lady ga**.. i love the normal lady ga** look.. ang ganda niya.. and the voice.. wow.. pwedeng pang theater... goosebumps when she had a standing ovation...

I think nobody really (myself included) expected that she can sing that good. My first thought when I heard that she will sing was "Oh no! What will she do with those beloved classics?"  But she proved to everyone that she can reaaly sing pala.  I agree that she should now stick to being "normal" and less of those costumes and gimmicks.

true even ordinary people kapag nagpakita ng di magandang ugali ang isang tao sasabihin talaga na mali ang pagpapalaki etc. e di lalo na sa mga celebrity na nilu-look up ng mga tao.  kaya dapat xian careful siya sa mga sinasabi at inaasal niya kung ayaw niyang mapulaan ang nanay niya.

Lady G was a revelation!  I always knew she could sing, but not at that level.  May ilang almost operatic notes shang na-hit, galing.  And I loved it when Julie Andrews came out after!  I remember first seeing ga** on the MTV show, The Hills.  Di pa sha mashadong kilala nun and na-weirduhan ako sa kanya.  Kakaibang talent pala ang meron sha.  Her awesome voice sets her apart from Madonna.

SUPER LOVED Lady ga**'s performance!! One of the best performances at the Academy Awards ever, I think!! She has true deep talent which is overshadowed unfortunately by her gimmicks. But wow, still can't get over her incredible performance.

May nabasa ko sa fb, nagtraining daw si lady g under a vocal coach everyday for 6 months for that performance, now that's what you call dedication and passion. Nakakatawa din reaction ng marami na maganda pala si lady gg pag normal ang ayos. Nasanay kasi tayo sa mga kaweirduhan niya

just when you thought they cannot possibly get any lower,  the latest Kardashian gossip (or could be true?) is Kendall Jenner is pregnant courtesy of Scot Dissick (father of Kourtney's kids).  i only saw it on the cover of Us magazine this morning but didn't get to read the article.
