who is better Juan Carlo the caterer or K. by Cunanan?

Juan Carlo bride here. Pero before I want KbyC talaga. Sa styling kasi mas bet ko sila. Accredited sila ni JC sa venue namin pero kay JC lang kami nakapag food tasting kaya sila nakuha namin. Final FT na namin sa Sunday.

Biased ako kasi we got KbyC and they delivered well during our wedding ANG GANDA ng styling at ANG SARAP ng food. All our guests said the same.

ako hindi biased, telling everything based on my taste and opinion. natikman ko na both pero iba pa rin talaga ang K by Cunanan, both stylings and food masarap talaga. Juan Carlo kasi panay artista lang marketing strategy nila, pero so-so lang sa food then minsan medyo old school or typical lang talaga stylings nila , halos pareho sila ng Hizons sa stylings kaya sila ang magkalevel. Ang kalevel ng K by Cunanan talaga sa food and stylings is Passion Cooks or Purpledish.

My sister got Juan Carlo sa wedding nya first quarter last year. Kasama nya ako sa foodtasting, nasarapan kami super kaya yun kinuha namin. Come wedding day, ugh, anyare? Ang layo ng lasa don sa natikman namin sa initial at final foodtasting. Kaya automatic out na sila sa options ko ever since.

Nag final tasting ako yesterday sa JC. Na disappoint ako iba din yung lasa sa initial ft namin nagwoworry ako di magustuhan ng guest. Isa pang worry ko ang mahal mahal tapos ganon lasa

Since this topic was from last year, I hope future brides will read my story.  Juan Carlo vs K by Cunanan.   I honestly didn't have the chance to inquire JC.  I wish I had.  So I booked K by Cunanan several years ago and yes I fell in love with the rustic styling and food!  Never had a problem with my pre-wedding preps. I meant coordinating with her executives.  And then the day of my wedding, Since we were on a euphoric state, I didn't see some flaws in styling.  It was beautiful for me.  Then they served the food and I noticed right away that the food I chose several months back wasn't the food I had tasted in the food tasting! I told my husband about it and he said just ignore it.  After the wedding, my family and close relatives made bad comments about the food! It is supposed to be BUFFET. Guests in the VIP table were not served the complete course menu. Kiddie meals were served after an hour after the buffet tables were opened.  There were no replenishment on the main dishes! Some of my guests told me that they didn't get the food AT ALL.  We were SHORTCHANGED.  I did complain these things to them and we were compensated but the stress and embarrassment still haunts me.

I am curious about your case sis. This is the first time I heard this type of complaint. Totally different food was served? Gaano ba kalayo ang date ng final ft mo from the actual event that k by cunanan failed to deliver the menu you've chosen. Parang dodgy. And you mentioned too na "it is supposed to be buffet" pero latter part ng statement mo "Kiddie meals were served after an hour after the buffet tables were opened." May buffet ba talaga or wala. Paki clear, thank you.

agree ako sa yo sis. Hizon's ang kalevel ng Juan Carlo. tapos mas expensive pa ang rates. i was very happy with K by C as our caterer. Although kung mas marami pa kaming time, baka nagtry din ako magFT sa Josiah's. parang may "what if" lang kasi sa isipan ko na baka maganda rin naman styling and bka mas nakamura at baka may free upgrades pa. it was mother in law naman who shouldered the catering expenses. during the wedding planning kasi we were supposed to get Hizon's para mura lang package, pero my MIL does not want Hizon's. She told us if she will be impressed by the caterer sa food tasting, she will shoulder the expenses for the food. When we brought her to the initial FT, impressed naman siya agad. so we got K by C. pero siguro sa next event ko, like my renewal of vows or birthday of my kid baka subukan ko naman Josiah's para ma-experience.

By the way sa Juan Carlo yun free lechon na nakuha namin maliit sya. Pansin ng mga guests ko yun. Isang tray nga lang nakalagay don sa area ng carving since sa loob kasi nila tinadtad bawal kasi don sa dapat carving area na sinet up nila

Hi, I had been to a wedding that was catered by Josiah's last December, and to me, it was just so so. Okay lang sya.  They had a lechon station but it was just small lechon. Parang nga naubus kaagad.  I had only tasted KbyC's when I had our initial food tasting last March, but so far with the styling, I prefer KbyC's ( if food, I would still prefer KbyC although I wouldn't recommend their Mushroom soup with Truffle oil.

I attended a wedding catered by Juan Carlo. The food was great. One of those weddings I remembered because of the food but the styling is just normal.

I'd go for K by C.  I've attended weddings catered by Juan Carlo and for me so-so lang food nila. 

Unlike sa K by C which is I got the chance to taste their food by IT, nasarapan talaga kami - lalo na si
future hubby.  Masasabi kong masarap talaga kasi na enjoy nya yung broccoli and cheese soup
( which is hindi sya into veggies ) and yung carrot rice na at first kala namin for the sake na masabing maiba lang or masabing hindi plainyung rice pero nung na try namin masarap din.

My distinct flavor yung food nila, kung gaano kasarap yung name ng food nila ganun din yung taste.  Saka all there foods jive with each other.  Saka the way the chefs cooked it talagang with love kasi presentation-maganda, taste-masarap,tenderness-Excellent.
 
Though ill be honest about there desserts, medyo hindi ako nasatisfy. Name wise like what I said
masarap basahin pero nung natry namin parang weird.  Its either matabang or too strong yung lasa.  They did try though to make it presentable or with a twist pero since we're food enthusiast parang alam mo kung anong pwedeng equivalent nya sa filipino meryendas.
