GrabTaxi, GrabCar, Easy Taxi, Uber, Tripda, etc. reviews?

^what I do is, after I pin my location, I text and inform my EXACT location.
Let's say I'm at Glorietta 4, I text the Uber driver right after I book:

"I'm at Glorietta 4 and Ascott Makati pick-up and drop-off point roundabout, waiting in front of Bread Talk and H&E (Heaven & Eggs)."

Sometimes I text my clothing color lalo na if madaming tao sa area.

^^I agree, hassle talaga mga taxis na namimili. Then reklamo sila ng reklamo with uber and grab pero hindi naman nila inaayos service nila. And atleast sa Uber malinis and bago mga cars, unlike some other taxis ang dumi. Kaya ako I prefer to uber/grab kahit mas mahal minsan cause of surge or peak hours rate.

Has anyone tried Grab Express like papa pickup na check or parcel with Grab? I am considering kasi that service. Pls share if anyone has tried that specific service. Thanks

Tried thrice na. Ok naman. Medyo hirap lang makabook minsan. But once me tumanggap na ng booking, smooth transaction naman na. Me ifi-fill-out lang na form, then pay, then yun na. Me limit lang sa size ng package.

I've tried Grab thrice so far and Uber, once - good and smooth ride sila. Better than taxis for sure.

tried Grab twice.  na amazed lang ako kasi the second time Montero ang sumundo sa amin. 

have tried Uber too.  yung driver sobrang kaskasero.  naiwan ang puso ko sa bahay namin.  madaling araw pa yun ha pero kung maka singit, wagas!  nung pauwi naman from the airport di masyado maalam sa direction yung driver.  ayoko ng ganun, gina guide mo pa kung saan dadaan

First time ko natry Uber sa states. Nag Uber Black ako para feel na feel, lol. Lexus na SUV sumundo sa akin, the driver asked me kung gusto ko daw ng music, i said yes, so he turned on the radio tapos nagulat ako kasi may disco lights yung sasakyan! Haha! Napasayaw ako ng very light. Then may bottled water and crackers pa na kasama. Hehe. Also, sa states Uber is cheaper than regular cab.

Dito naman sa pinas, GrabCar ang natry ko. Usually vios ang nasasakyan ko. Mas convenient talaga mag uber or grab car kesa mag antay ng taxi dito sa atin. Konti lang naman difference ng fare, minsan nga mas mura pa pag walang traffic. So far mababait naman yung mga grab car drivers na naexperience ko. The only downside i think is pag heavy traffic, sobrang mahal ng pamasahe. Like before, less than 2km lang distance ng pinuntahan ko, i had to take grabcar kasi ang dami kong dala, 300php yung fare ko.

What's the size limit?

Not sure sa exact dimensions. But i think basta kasya dun sa box na usually meron yung mga motorcycles sa likod. Twice, Tula carriers na naka paper bag yung pinadala ko.

I switch between Uber and GrabCar. Pag wala surge, I go for Uber. Otherwise, I go for GrabCar kasi sayang din yung difference (minimum 100).

Anyone who tried to book to be picked up sa airport? Mahigpit pa din?

^Sa Terminal 4, hindi mahigpit  Tried both Grab and Uber pickup doon. Two weeks ago 'yung last na trip ko from there.

Last ko sa Terminal 3 eh December last year pa. Wala naman akong nakitang airport officials doon except sa mga barkers ng mahal na taxi. Tamang hinala at ang sama tumingin kapag nakita lang na ang tagal mong nakatitig sa cellphone. Pero deadma lang.

Based on my experience, mas madaling mag-book ng Grab kesa Uber kapag airport pickup.

Hi! I haven't tried Grab. Kadalasan Uber lang ako. Nag try ako mag open ng app pero kapag pin ko yung location ko. Ibang address yung lumalabas. Yun pinakamalapit lang sa akin ang nakalagay. Hindi ba nagkaka problem yung ganun since kapag Grab Car eh kung anong lumabas na fare eh yun din ang exact amount na babayaran mo? Tsaka paano kung pag sakay mo eh biglang you need to cut short your trip or medyo maiba na yung kung saan mo kailangan bumaba? Paano ang computation nun? Thanks.

Saved by Grabcar last night. Booked a ride from the airport with no hassle kahit na traffic because it's rush hour on a friday. Airport taxi wanted P2k+ Terminal 1 to Quezon City. That's daylight robbery.

This has happened to me twice already with Grab Car, like I needed to go further than what I placed through my booking. Dinagdagan lang ni driver ng reasonable amount and he agreed to take me naman, wala na siyang binago dun sa booking ko.

Idk lang with Uber. Side story lang, I used to join the Uber drivers and partners group on Facebook, ang mean lang ng mga sinasabi nila dun kaya medyo nawalan ako ng gana mag Uber. Puro reklamo, kesyo sa surge na nga lang daw sila nakakabawi tapos reklamo pa riders, kung can't afford daw magbayad ng surge edi mag taxi na lang, etc. As if utang na loob pa ng riders that they're still with Uber. Anyway.

Sa Uber, if mag-chchange ng destination in the middle of the trip, walang problema kasi based sa time and distance ang calculation ng fare. 

I joined Uber and Grab FB groups mga August last year para lang makakuha ng promo codes  . Pero recently nga puro bad vibes doon so I don't visit the groups anymore.
