finaly nakapag-book na rin ng Invitation. Almost done na kami except for flowers and HMUA (don't know if kukunin namin yung HMUA ko nung prenup). Food tasting and mock setup sched, gown fitting, Invitation pick-up and misalette printing na lang kami next month.

Hello fellow 2014 brides! It's 57 days to go before our BIG day! Nakaka-stress kasi DIYs pa hinahabol ko and we vowed to ourselves na a month before the wedding, magre-relax na kami. Practice na lang ng dance steps, memorize ng wedding rites (required kasi ni Fr.) and magpa-ganda.

Haha nakakatawa talaga sis kasi nun araw na nagpropose din si Dindong kay Marian, gabi yun right? Si fiancee naman umaga nun araw din na yun binigay sakin yun ring. Nauna kami ng ilang oras. Tapos nun naset yun wedding date, gulat kami sila rin pala. hahay. At least si Marian wala kahirap hirap haha!

^ sis same lang pala tayo overseas pareho at ang meron pa lang kami eh venue, caterer, P/V, HMUA, OTD Coordinator na lahat ginawa ko lang online hehe.. wala pa rin kami ng mga mentioned mo pati nga outfit namin for the wedding baka mapabili na lang kami sa Rustan's kasi may nabasa ko somewhere dito din sa GT may bridal gowns din don na affordable 8-10k ata RTW check mo din if uuwi ka.. ^our original reception venue kasi is Hindi kasya lahat sa loob ng function hall. Nung nagle-layout yung caterer namin, some tables are inside, some are outside(garden). Ayaw naman namin ng ganun kasi they travel and yung iba nag-leave pa from work since our wedding is on a Tuesday, and then pauupuin lang namin sila sa labas. Hindi na nila makikita yung program.

^ tama. tsaka hinde mo sigurado yung weather. baka lamukin sila, langawin, ulanin, or laputin sa sobrang init.


advice sa mga 2014 brides, totoo talaga na walang kasal na perfect. may mga bagay na hinde masusunod, may mga  magkakaroon ng aberya. If you have coordinators, even if they are paid ones or friends who are doing it because they love you, appreciate them and the efforts they put in para hinde kayo ma stress na couple.

We had a problem with the DJ and the music. Yung first dance namen, na play nya while yung entrance nung entourage. Good thing one of our coordinators were outside with us kaya ang bilis nya nakapasok sa loob to let the DJ know na hinde pa cue for the song. Wala din ambiance music minsan or sobrang hina. and when it came to dancing, hinde nasunod yung playlist/ request nung guests. Yung mga place cards, hinde na nailagay sa tables kasi hinde na nakita nung coordinators. But we managed to be thankful kasi of all the million things that could have gone wrong, ayun lang yung nangyari. The ceremony was beautiful. The homily was so personalized.

Ours was a small wedding, handpicked ang guests. Nung natapos ma play yung SDE, nagpalakpakan yung mga tao. We had a problem sa una namen nakuha na videographer. We lost yung na down namen na pera and it was worth it dun sa nakuha namen na bago. Up to this day, guests are texting us or they let our parents know na napakaganda nung kasal and very personalized. Sa mga aberya na nangyari, sa lahat ng stress, sa lahat ng pag aaway namen husband, ang worth it lahat.

Kaya to all of you's, enjoy the prep. pag papalapit na yung wedding nyo, mas madaming tao ang magiging sanhi ng stress nyo. choose kung anong klaseng stress ang worth it. learn to let go. If you stop worrying, you'll enjoy your wedding day. Kasi promise, sobrang bilis nung mga pangyayari. ang pinaka solid na naalala ko lang is yung getting ready and yung patapos na yung reception. When you look back, ayaw mo na mas naalala mo pa yung nagwu- worry ka about everything kesa sa you're just enjoying the moment.

Have fun and don't let the little stress ruin you.

I agree, mabilis ang pangyayari haha! I've long accepted that our wedding won't be perfect since there's no such thing. Also, people will always find something to say about your wedding. So just focus on the love between you and your fiance and then the love from your family, relatives, and friends.

Stress during preps was manageable, but it was the one during and after our wedding na masakit kasi our coordinator did not deliver. Instead of my family and relatives enjoying themselves, napagod lang sila kaka-asikaso while the coordinators were sitting pretty.

Buti na lang all our other suppliers were great! Our wedding was still beautiful per our guests

sis aicute12, i can't answer #1 pero for i have insights for your 2 other questions.
2. personally, ok sya saken. para kakaiba di ba. pero of course you have to take into account din kung ok yun sa church na pagkakasalan nyo and with your family. baka kase di kayo payagan lalo na kung traditional pareho so ask mo muna sila kung pwede.
3. ang principal role talaga ng ninongs at ninangs ay maging official witness ng nuptials. sila ang magsa-sign sa wedding papers nyo. then of course, anjan din sila to provide guidance, wisdom & support para sa mag-asawa even after the wedding. di naman kailangang madami. i think 2 pairs nga lang pwede na eh. baka naman may titos/titas kayo na pwede or family friends. may masa-suggest naman siguro ang relatives nyo.
