Are You Obssessed Sa Pagpapaputi?

Hindi naman geisha level ang inaachieve ko, pero sana maging fair lang.hahaha. Last time i checked sa MAC counters, NC 20-25 daw ako sabi ng SA. Pero when i am inside the house, feeling ko maitim ako. and i have a barkada na  morena, but very makinis siya and glowing, i liked her color din. Pero kasi matangkad siya so bagay sa kanya. Hay, ewan!😊👍😄😊 hahahaha

It's funny how some equate ang pagkaputi sa pagiging makinis. Anyway, never ako naging obsessed with that kahit nung nasa Pilipinas ako, although hindi ako naman ako maitim di rin kaputian. I am now in the land of people obsessed with having tan skin kasehodang magka-skin cancer so kering keri!

Mas gusto ko na siguro yung mindset ng mga pinays na magpaputi albeit the expense and dry skin haha. Compared sa mga westerners na magtan kasi nakakacause ng skin aging ang magbilad sa araw! My ultimate enemy in life pa naman is aging. Haha.

YES. Since highschool nagtitipid ako makabili lang ng whitening soaps and lotion. Mas bagay kasi sa akin ang maputi kesa hindi. Pag consistent ako sa whitening products people would comment that I'm blooming, rosy cheeks, makinang na skin etc. Pag nag-stop ako using oral and topical whitening products, they would say na ang haggard ko and mas matanda ako tingnan compared to my sister huhuhu.

Nung student days ko pa and nauubusan ako ng allowance, my sister would tell me " Sige, ipambayad mo sa jeep yang mga whitening lotions mo." hehe

Nung college na ako, mas malaki allowance so i started buying oral gluta na and that was the most beautiful version of me according to myself and other people. Secret lang na I'm taking gluta hanggang ngayon. If people would ask, I just tell them, sa tomato soap ko lang yan.

Now that I have a job already, large part of my salary would go to my "whitening" expense at halos wala na ko ma-save. Tapos there's this pesosense fb page..one of their post nakalagay 'Ipon muna bago gluta' hahaha sapul eh.

I can honestly say that I'm doing this for myself and not for guys kasi kelan lang naman ako nag-bf. Pag maganda yung skin ko, I am the happiest.

Dati as in mula sabon hanggang lotion to the extent na hindi talaga ako nagpapaaraw. Pero nung dumating kami dito sa melbourne tapos lagi nilang sinasabi na ang ganda daw ng kulay ko stop na ako sa mga whitening products.

Me too, gusto ko lang ng pantay pantay na skin color. Yung binti ko maputi tapos yung braso ko hindi dahil nung summer. Nakaka-frustrate lang talaga.

^ inggit lang yun sis. some show it, some really dont. Like yung iba, naglalait at nagchismis but yung iba silent lang at naghead to foot lang. I know coz I've been a victim of the former and i personally did the latter, although dami naman maghead to food sa akin based sa sinabi ng friends at bf ko.

At least you are being honest   I don't understand lang why others say maganda lang yan kasi maputi.  May ganun ba?  Siguro, pero sa facial symmetry and proportions yan diba?

Same tayo sis yellowminion. Ako naman haggard ako tingnan pagmaitim ako kaya effort talaga ako na magpaputi after magbeach. Ngayon naka-rashguard na ako and cap everytime na may ganap sa beach or magswimsuit lang ako pagwala gaanong sun. I look tired and older daw kasi pagmaitim ako. Pero soap and lotion lang gamit ko. Nagtry ako ng oral gluta before ok sana effect physically kasi blooming tingnan pero di maganda effect sa tummy ko, lagi akong constipated. Ayaw ko mag-IV takot ako needle. For now dedma lang ako sa skintone ko nakaka-receive pa din naman ako ng compliment na maputi ako kahit di ko masyado ini-effortan pagpapaputi. Psychological na lang siguro kaya feeling ko minsan ang itim itim ko.

This is my frustration, kapag wala ang hubby ko nagpapa glutha shots ako every other day tapos double dose pa. Whitening soap, lotion..the works! Pero naman pagdating ng hubby ko outing dito, swimming don, triathlon dito (syempre support ako). Ayun mas lalo ako umiitim at worst nasusunog talaga balat ko because of glutha.

Gusto ko din pantay na kulay lang. I need not to be paper white. 
Right now, I'm into whitening soaps and oral gluta na ulit. Tempted to try gluta shots kahit 5 sessions lang.

Before, I would be totally against gluta drips until i got hooked on it every month.  Not really for the whitening effect but because it has placenta, collagen among others na for anti-aging.  Ito ang obsession ko right now, I went back to using adapalene na kasi, I can't expose myself to the sun narin.

Mga sis update lang. Naachieve ko na yung pantay pantay na skin color. I used Dove soap yung light blue (gentle exfoliating) partnered with Vaseline deep restore (color yellow) lotion. In two months, pantay pantay na ang kulay ko plusmas naging soft ang smooth ang feel ng balat ko.

After 3 years , I can still say I'm obsessed thought not as much as before. I'm quite happy now with my color  and I want to maintain it.

I have not yet achieved that paper white color like Lucy Torres pero I'm content kasi some people would still call me Snow White lalo na pag gabi, I glow daw. hehe

I live in a country where there a lot of white and brown skinned people. So my skin doesn't really stand out here. What they notice more about me is my nose when I tell them that I am Filipino because I don't have that "Filipino nose" as they call it.
