Yung wedding ng friend ko, 80s theme. She walked down the isle with Crazy For You. Madonna, The Cure mostly yung playlist. Yung mga centerpiece nila disco balls, tas may vinyl record ornaments sa walls. They even asked the guests to dress up 80s inspired.
Super fun wedding. And the music was very nostalgic. Magaling din yung banda nila nun kaya ang ganda ng vibe

jentotmd, ang hirap naman sa ganung genre, hinde lahat nakaka appreciate. Tama ka, pang hotel yung vibes. pang relax. hinde yung pary party.

ang sure lang siguro dapat nagrereflect sa personality ng couple yung playlist like the guests would know them a little bit better through their choice of playlist.

Actually two songs ang gusto namin sa SDE, yung I Lived & All this Time by One Republic. Nung diniscuss namin sa P/V supplier namin, di daw sila sure mailalagay yung 2. So nagsettle kami sa All this Time na lang. Come wedding day. naging 2 songs pa din ang pinlay. Yung first part ng SDE, me dinagdag na song si P/V supplier namin na until now di ko pa din alam ang title. Pero happy ako kasi bumagay sya sa SDE namin. Majority of the scenes ay All This Time ang tugtog:)

I left this decision to Ghe Consolacion coz I trust him and he knows better. It turned out he chose really good songs with beautiful lyrics pa. And surprisingly, swak pati lyrics kung ano mismo yung pinapalabas sa sde.

I think it's best to trust the photo and video suppliers for the SDE song so they can make sure that the song will be swak for the actual moments of the wedding. This is also part of what we're paying them - the artistry of the SDE. Choosing the appropriate song is part of their art Just my opinion

^korek ka naman sis dyan:) however, sometimes, the couple kasi wants to reflect their personality sa SDE nila kaya minsan gusto nilang sila din ang namimili ng songs. Tapos makikipagcollaborate na lang with your videographer and ask if magiging OK yung output using the songs given by them and if hindi, that's the time na papasok ang suggestions ni videographer:) si hubby kasi very particular sa song choices and its message kaya nagmabida sya dito haha

siguro we'll provide 3 slow and 3 upbeat songs sa p/v supplier. kung sakaling may matched sa sde, yun ang pwede nila gamitin. pero oks lang din kung may mas preferred sila na mas babagay.

We'll provide our videographer a max of 3 songs we like for the SDE. It gives them an idea what mood we want for the video. But will still leave it up to them if they will use it or not, I have a feeling they would know better once the footage is there. Sa prenup was planning to suggest also but ended up not giving the list to them since parang they knew what was bagay.

Has anyone paid on their own (not included in the photo or video package) for the music license of their SDEs? How was your experience and can you use it multiple times? My fiance is keen on this since he edits videos on his free time and we found out recently that one videographer was sued for copyright claims causing for the deletion of his online video account. Thanks
