sissies, i need your feedback.. i'm looking for otd+emcee.  some ng mga na-shortlist namin are booked already.  so we're thinking whether we'll get a magical event (marj dizon is the host) or events simplified (don't know yet kung sino host nila ).

Sis I suggest try looking for younger wedding hosts since they're cheaper. Hindi naman necessarily na masasacrifice ang program mo. Some of those I've seen from weddings of friends, okay naman. Try also asking your coordinator or suppliers who they've worked with in the past. Good luck.

I agree sis. Sikat na kasi mga yan kaya sobrang mahal na. Marami ring magagaling na baguhang emcee. Yung emcee namin voice talent pa yun sa gma. He is also a wedding planner. Di pa lang siya sikat.

Kahit importante ang isang bagay, di naman yung basta na lang mag spend ng kahit ridiculous na yung amount.

Sa amin important food and venue. Kaya nagsplurge talaga kami sa caterer. Iba iba rin siguro priority natin for our own weddings.

Pero sa amin yung comfort ng guests ang priority namin.

You can ask to meet and interview them. I'm planning a wedding now as a favor and ganun kami nagscreen ng potential hosts. The other weddings I've attended used relatives and some naman, radio jocks like Tracy Abad. Sobrang galing talaga, nagkakatalo lang talaga sa TF. Sa baguhan, I've seen one na I can vouch for since she hosted my Tita's wedding. They got her through a recomendation from another relative na events planner.....basta complicated hehe. I can send you her details if you're screening pa hosts.

girls, i need your feedback.. i'm torn between events simplified (host is karmie) and a magical event (marj dizon is the host).  which one is better with regards to coordinating and hosting? pareho ko sila ka-jive kaya hirap magdecide..

@hallerski, kung sino na lang mas makasundo mo and swak sa budget mo. If panalo naman sila pareho sa feedback, either of the two will do, ang mahalaga di ka masyado mapressure at mastress. Nakakadagdag din sa stress ang pagkalito sa suppliers, better na kausapin mo sila muna thru phone calls or kung may time ka naman for meetup , for sure naman mafefeel mo naman sa kanila kung sino mas makakagaanan mo ng loob

Sis angel_love and sis mrsA Arbee Panga ba to? I know of her from one of our team projects before (as in 3 years ago pa yata yun), but I haven't worked with her recently. Okay naman siya, very easy to work with and very flexible with requests. I remember okay naman ang feedback ng team sa work nya.

The hosts I've worked with and considering working with again are Kyla Rivera (0918 9277071), Rizza D (I can't find her no...backtrack ko to when i find the biz card) and Portia Trinidad (0917 5931516).

Kyla is very theatrical..i've worked with her 2x na. Si Portia naman, fun and witty na kaya nyang i-command kahit anong klaseng crowd. Si Rizza does TV reporting so siya yung pinaka-pormal sa tatlo. Siya din may pinakabusy na sched kasi may mga taping siya eh. Depende talaga sa hanap mo.  

Mga sis, try nyo i-meet in person lahat ng mga na-shortlist nyo na para may feel kayo sa personality ng hosts. That's the best way talaga na masasabi ng couple na "ito na yun." I've seen that happen with the couples I'm working with.
