Just got back from our SG trip! ang saya mag commute there talaga!

^ Yep. Bee Cheng Hiang usually, but there are stalls and stores lined up in Chinatown that also sells the same minus the brand.

sis babythug28 we bought EZlink na then one time big time loading para sa bus, MRT and cab fares hehe.

sis babythug28 in the 6 days we stayed at Singapore, if you'll just take the bus and the MRT, you won't spend $10 a day eh. I think yung tourist pass $10 a day for unlimited rides sa public transpo diba? While we were there we just loaded $10 every other day. except when we went to Sentosa kasi $4 yata yung pag ride ng monorail nila.

But we didn't have the open top bus tour or bubble jet ride.

ah. ok na siguro $20 each sa min kung mag ezlink kami since part din ng itinerary is Sentosa. 4 days lang naman kasi kami dun salamat sis. naconvince na ko hehe

Never tried the tourist pass ever. Always EZ Link since it's for everything. I even remember purchasing soda from a vendo machine using the EZ Link, just so I can say that it really works for other stuff!

^ I remember doing it in a vendo sa Sentosa kasi I was so bored na while waiting for something or someone, so there.. voila!

Mas mura ba makeup dun kaysa satin? Yun mga authentic ha not the sg made.  Which is also cheaper buying sa airport or sa mga watsons nila? Ill be there this weekend for business trip. I intend to buy lang makeups and maybe fashion items if they're on sale.

^ Check out Sephora sis. You should be able to find stuff that is much more cost efficient, but not naman all. I can't say yet what's in stock na mura at this time since I am yet to check it out pa later today

Booked via Airbnb na. We'll be staying in a condo unit in Novena near Balestier. For 3 nights stay, we paid only Php 9,609 (though bawas na dun yung Php 1,500 discount by using a BPI card for payment).  For the price we get a room with balcony (and nice view too) and exclusive bathroom, WiFi, use of the condo's common areas and facilities like the pool, jacuzzi, gym, etc. And there's free shuttle service to the nearby MRT station too. All in all, not bad.

Hi Guys! Please help me check our itinerary..  will be going to Sg next week. na-stress na ako sobra e. Going there with my sister and mom (senior)

Aug. 30 - around 11am arrive siguro at the hotel - will be checking in at Strand Hotel, eat lunch at Kopitiam siguro since sa tapat meron nito.
Then head to Bras Basah Station going to Raffles Place MRT walk to Merlion then yung Esplanade from afar nalang para di na lakad si mama. then balik ulit ng sa Raffles Place MRT going to Bayfront for Gardens by the Bay. But I read na sobrang init daw pag ganung time 1-2pm? pano na? unahin ko nalang ba ang Marina Bay Sands na Shoppes lakad lakad lang bago mag GBTB? hindi ba pabalik-balik? kasi I plan to watch the Wonderfull Light show din. pero kung di worth it at nakakapagod baka skip ko na rin lang ito.

From Bayfront MRT goint to Marina Bay or GBTB ba malayong lakaran? may idea ba kung how long usually time spent inside the Gardens by the Bay with Conservatories? (will be renting the wheelchair if available since $2.00 lang naman para di na mapagod si mama.) after that, from Bayfront head Promenade via DT line change to CC going to Bras Basah

Aug. 31 - Head to Harbourfront Vivo City level 3 Lobby L for Sentosa Express going to Waterfront for USS ($4.00 ba ang charge kada sakay nito?- tama ba yung bababaan ko sa monorail? kasi yung ibang seach ko by bus daw ang USS from Vivo city) then later sa Sentosa, baka dinner at Vivo City nalang the head home na siguro.

Sept. 01 - Legoland c/o WTS Travel wala ba sobrang makita dito kasi nabasa ko 3 hrs lang enough na daw e with senior mga 4 hrs? para ma-allot ko sana what time kami babalik sa SG. anyone avail the paypal promo from WTS? still haven't booked yet kasi di naman nag-rereply sa mga inquiries ko e. bad service. buti pa yung iba.

Pag balik from Singapore Flyer - walk towards Helix Bridge. to view it lang di na siguro lalakarin.  mahirap may senior e  then walk towards Promenade Station pero stop muna sa Suntec Fountain of Wealth then walk back to Promenade MRT to Bugis para eat nalang siguro sa Bugis Junction then lakad lakad dun. either walk bak to Bencoolen or ride MRT ulit.

Sept. 02 - Check out, head Bras Basah to Botanic Garden - like kasi ng mom ko ang mga flowers so we're gonna be heading there for Orchids, then Head to Chinatown, eat at Tian Tian chicken, buy Pork Jerky at Lim Chee Guan - heard that this is the most famous. although try ko din siguro Kim Hwa Guan kasi mas manipis daw ang cut nito. stroll nalang siguro back at Orchard. Then get luggage head to Changi.

May mga questions ako.. hope you don't mind...

1. baka may mahiraman akong ez-link card, panu ko kukunin yung extra load ko dun pag aalis na ako ng SG? sabi kasi pwede pero yung $5.00 non refundable, meaning di na isosoli yung card sa akin? di ba pwede refund and retain ko yung card ? tama ba na pag $3.00 nalang ang load sa card can't use it na daw? sabi naman ng office mate ko pwede daw use sa 7/11 pero I read naman na bus and MRT lang... naguguluhan na ako.. 

2. Mahihirapan ba talaga kami sumakay ng MRT pag rush Hour? mga 8:45-9:15 am on monday.. kasi ang problem ko is yung papuntang Promenade for Legoland, although galing CC2 ako to CC4 since pangalawa pa lang ako walang tao? =) takot kasi ako ma-late sa bus.

3. San mas malapit ang Marina Bay Sands na mall? Downtown or Bayfront na MRT? kasi sabi sa Downtown MRT near Marina Bay Link Mall? yun na ba yung shoppes at marina bay?

By the way, how's the weather? super ulan ba? kasi sabi sa nea thundery showers!

Aug 30, From Bras basah go to Bayfront for gardens by the bay.  It is much ideal to go there first thing in the morning as there will be less crowd. 

Then on take your lunch at Marina bay din tai fungi or the rasapura food court.

From Marina bay, walk towards Helix bridge to cross to Esplanade.  From there, walk until Merlion then onto Raffles place (green line MRT) or go back to esplanade MRT (yellow line)

Aug 31, From Bras Basah MRT go to Douby ghaut and transfer from yellow line to purple line towards Harbourfront stn.  Once you exit harbour front, eto na yung Vivocity, don’t ride the escalator, look for Subway restau, merong Lift to take you to 4th floor(elevator) for your mom which is direcho na to monorail.

1.  You can use your ezlink anywhere within SG kahit sa 7-11 or any participating stores here:

SGD5 = PHP175 so if you don't want to end up paying SGD5 for the card get the Singapore tourist pass which is SGD30 for 3 days.  Although I think you won't be needing this kasi di naman kayo marami pupuntahan.  Your day 1 and day 2 consist of just the same walkable area so you just need to pay for your transpo going to and from the hotel.  Its still cheaper to get the EZlink card for SGD12 only as I think the SGD7 credit is enough for your two days.

Also you cannot use the Singapore tourist pass sa sentosa monorail while you can use your ezlink there.

You can sell it to your officemate or friends na pupunta dito sa SG.

2.  When you ride the MRT, look for the wheelchair access MRT gates.  Walang seat doon at priority ang merong wheelchair.  Ang kagandahan dito sa SG, pag rush hour kahit maraming tao, every 2 minutes ang dating ng train so your 8:45 is very okay.  if you like you can leave your hotel at 8:30 since you have to walk and you might get lost which can eat your time.

3.  Shoppes at marina bay sands is Bayfront MRT.

In the afternoon sometimes it rains, maraming malls dito na pwede masilungan.

Naiisip ko na nga ngayon baka after I arrive is eat muna kasi dami kinakain ni mama na gamot for sure gutom na yun, then go straight to Gardens by the Bay, then Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, then walk to helix bridge since medyo late na so di na maiinit, then esplanade then merlion then go back to hotel kasi pagod na =)

Thank for informing about the lift! pwede ba gamitin yun kasi si mama wala namang wheelchair?

may idea ka ba if $4.00 nga ang charge kada sakay ko ng monorail from one place to another sa sentosa? (if ever lang kasi mukhang malabo din naman)

I heard nga na may mas malaking door daw ang MRT, dun ba dapat kami pumasok pag may luggage kami galing airport? sa harap ba located yun?
