pls dont just leave your pet anywhere kung ayaw mo na siya. pwede mo rin naman na ilagay lang siya sa kwarto mo instead na itali. parang iba kasi yung naka-leash e.

I do play with him na kami lang dalawa and I keep him sa room din sometimes..problema lang is makulit talaga ang personality lahat ng things ko fall off from the table, he scratches the curtains..if nasa living room naman, he plays with our xmas decors..and as usual, harasses the other cats.

^oo nga pala try mo manood nung cat from hell episodes sa youtube, kahit yung hindi buo minsan sinasabi naman ano yung correction na ginawa nila para mag change yung ugali ng cats ng clients

i think yung cat mo sobrang dami ng energy at hindi enough sa kanya yung basta simpleng play lang, baka he/she needs extra toys/longer play time at kapag magaaway sila, i-distract mo ng laro.

Mga cat-experts pahelp naman po ako.

My family has been a dog lover ever since, and we still are.
Currently we have a german sheperd and golden retriever, they are both old na din so medyo hindi na sila playful unlike before. Family pet sila so shared responsibility kami to take care of them.

Right now, I'm interested in getting a new pet of my own. Yung ako talaga full time mag aalaga.
At first i wanted to get a puppy but I've read an article on the net about cats and i've found myself obsessed with it. Parang mas compatible ata ang cats sa aking personality.

Na scratch ako ng pusa ng kapitbahay nung bata ako, and it made me afraid of cats but i never hated them.

After some research here and there, I fell in love with the scottish fold breed.
But i can't seem to find one here in the Philippines.

Most people I know are dog-owners and know little about cats so i decided to ask around here.

Baka may nakakaalam naman kung saan ako makakahanap ng breed na to.
also how much do they usually cost? kinakabahan din ako sa cost kasi mukhang mahal pero pag iipunan ko and right now i'm doing research kung papaano magiging cat friendly ang house namin.

any kind of help will be much appreciated.

Ask ko lang sino na dito nagawi sa Cartimar? Madami daw pet supplies and mura, how true is that? Kasi may nabasa din akong article na kapag obvious daw na 1st time pumunta double daw ang price?

Sa Cartimar ko sana balak bumili ng foods ng mga Baby ko. Sabi naman kasi almost lahat ng foods & supplies meron dun. Pati sana cage nya na may space for playing since kapag nasa school ako doon muna sya. Almost 2 months pa lang kasi sya according to his vet. Natatakot ako baka kasi maapakan or what. Ang hirap nya kasi hanapin/mapansin sa bahay (kahit di kalakihan bahay namin ) kasi maliit pa sya.

Suggestions naman if may nakatry na mag-shop sa Cartimar. Or kung merong may alam saan may murang cages and food specifically ACANA Wild Prairie saka yung Royal Canin Kitten Instinctive (Wet Food) THANKS!

Nakita ko nga din yung Pet Warehouse sa kanila ko talaga balak kumuha, finally meron nang may experience on ordering sa kanila Concern ko kasi kung kelan darating yung orders, next day ba after you place your orders possible bang mag-deliver na sila? Yung Acana kasi 1-3 days daw. Mdyo ayaw ko kasi mag-antay kaso wala naman akong alam na pet supply store na pwede ko mabilhan agad ng foods nila. Whiskas Junior si Nekko ko, I don't trust the brand na.. since andami ng nagsasabi na masama daw yung long term consumption nun para sa cats.

^delivery lead time nila is 1-3 days pag in stock yung item. I don't mind waiting kesa gagastos pa ako ng gas and get stuck in traffic. They're the most reliable pet supply onlne store and maganda service nila that's why I'm sticking with them.

I feed my cats RC (mature, indoor & urinary) and occasionally yung Acana and Orijen for their dry food. For wet food, I give them RC Instinctive, Purina One, Friskies pate and 9Lives. Then twice to thrice a week I cook them boiled fish and kalabasa.

^anong fish? Yun alaga ko kasi nilulutuan ko din ng isda pero so far ang nagustuhan niya tamban and tambacol. Pag raw yun salmon and tuna naman. Bumili kasi ako salmon and tuna sashimi pero nalansahan ako. Hindi ako siguro marunong magprepare like sa mga japanese restaurant. Ayun pusa ko nag enjoy ng husto.

anyways, mga sis anyone know any DIY toys your cats love?

sis mama_squeak, I tried your suggestion pala nga crumpled paper ball. grabe sobrang aliw yung miming ko..and bought a cheap tiangge laser.. aliw na aliw din yung mga guests ko sa mimings namin.. baka gumawa ako ng plan to convert them all to cat lovers bwahaha (we all used to be dog lovers)

even my bf who loooves dogs (and claims to love cats) and pitbull pa yung dog niya (which are notorious to cats :/ )..converted na and he allows the cat to sleep next to him and walk all over him lol and nachain na yung dogs niya haha (mean)

Got them a pot of organic wheat grass to munch on yesterday.   They both love it!

@blackgreen, any fish na available sa market basta yung hindi matinik. Hirap kasi maghimay kung matinik yung fish. I usually ask my manang to buy 1kg of fish and the big kalabasa (more or less nasa 2.5-3kgs). Separately boil the fish and kalabasa. Then himay the fish and mash the kalabasa then mix them both after. Pwede din kamote if may pagka sweeth tooth yung cats nyo. Total gastos ko for the whole batch is Php300-350 and this is good for 3 meals or servings for 21 cats. So if konti lang cats nyo mas malaki tipid.

One time I tried boiled chicken instead of fish for some reason hindi nabenta sa mga cats ko. I think just two of my cats ang kumain. So stick with fish na ako. I give them this homemade food at least 2-3 times a week. The rest yung canned and dry cat food na.

@minatay91, meron sa Pet Warehouse Philippines. I get my supplies from them. Organic din yung wheatgrass nila from Australia. One container sells for Php345.00

Dati mahilig alaga ko sa chicken, lately pag binibigyan ko dina niya pinapansin. Mas gusto pa rin niya yun tamban.

thanks sa tips po Do you feed the raw/cooked internal organs sa fish sa cats mo pala? Do you leave in the bones too?(the big, normal fish bone)
Sis ewan ko sa one cat ko, mahilig talaga sa kamote. He keeps stealing camote from the table (us thinking no one would get it)
and yung isang cat ko, happy na sa rice lang. Walang ulam, rice lang. Kahit spoiled. (-_-) Thanks sa tip. sa 3 cats ko siguro isang month na yun. May isang cat din ako na cat food lang gusto. Thanks din sa tip sa wheatgrass

Btw, my cats really like VitaPet. It's cheaper than Whiskas but I'm wary na it's soooo colorful. Like bright colors. 1.8kg ata for 259 php. Not sure but def cheaper

Yun alaga ko naman ayaw niya whiskas. Gusto niya yun friskies and fancy feast. Pag medyo matagal ng walang fish sa bahay nang aattack na yu  alaga ko.

Right now Iams ang food ng babies ko. Yung bago kong adopt na kitten more on wet cat food, RC kitten instinctive sya then Iams chicken flavor for kitten. Pero mas hinahanap nya pa din yung RC. Bihira lang sya mag-Iams siguro kakainin nya lang yung nasa bowl nya if nasa school ako at walang magbibigay sa kanya ng RC. Even yung isa kong cat, gustong gusto yung RC Kitten Instinctive (Gravy) nakaka-crave kasi yung amoy even for me and sabi din ng younger bro ko lol. I wonder kung meron nun for adult cats, gravy din sana. Anyone here na may suggestion and where to buy? Btw, thumbs up for Iams. 1 week palang on sat. na kumakain yung cat ko nun, in fairness na sa coat domestic short hair sila btw (puspin/puskal) pero ang ganda nung Iams for them and mas healthy sila tingnan. Okay ba talaga Iams. May cat owner din bang Iams ang food for their cats here

mga sis, in fairness kay whiskas..nakashiny talaga siya ng coat. hehe. My new hyper kitty that I complained about has shiny black fur na <3 so cuute!
