Gave birth last week mga sis to our baby girl via sched cs. Maliit [textspeak!] si baby pero need na i-cs kasi may brain sparing na daw since asymetrically small sya for gestational age. Hindi tuloy napagbigyan request ni hubby na sana i-sched na lang kasabay ng bday nya kasi 2 days na lang nun. Pero ok na din na cs kasi naka double cord coil na pala sya.

waaaah. ang haba haba na ng thread. naku saihan nyo na alng ako mga sis ano na nangyari sa inyo. ayaw ko na mag backread. hehe. 1 month kasi ako nawala. i gave birth in normal delivery last april 12 to a baby boy.. then april 11 pumasok pa ko sa office.

update lang. i gave birth to a healthy baby girl via emergency CS last May 6. At 12 midnight, napuyat pa akong magbasa ng labor stories from this forum. Tapos, nagising na lang ako ng 3 am at basang basa na bed ko. I knew at once it was my bag of water na.

I prepared myself and my hospital bags (it doesn't pay to procrastinate--- hindi pa ready maternity bag ko nun) and called my OB who instructed me to go straight to the delivery room. ginising ko na parents ko and we proceeded to the hospital.

BY 5:44, baby out na. LO is healthy. Pero, I had severe reactions with morphine--pumutok mukha ko. Ngayon I am monitoring my BP kasi sobrang naging erratic.

Happy maging nanay. Sayang lang, hindi na naabutan ni hubby.

Hi sisters!!! congrats to all who gave birth na rin

Just like to share my story..this is my first pregnancy and it has been a beautiful and exciting ride. very humbling as well.

I was originally scheduled May 16 and days leading to our delivery date via scheduled CS last April 28 had been a very tough one for me. One thing that I also learned is that i should check first with my dentist and give me a go-signal that i have healthy teeth and gums prior to pregnancy. lol. it was an extremely painful days prior to April 28 and i had almost no sleep because of terrible migraine and headache. So when we went to our OB check up on April 26 it was verified that placenta previa pa rin ako and dahil 37 weeks na rin hindi na pinatagal ni OB. Altho hoping sana kami for NSD pero if that's God's will, in-embraced na rin namin ni hubby. So we were checking for dates and turned out April 28 is the earliest she gave us. Naku gora na gora na ako! kung pwede nga na i-wheel in na ako that day papayag na ako. Haha. Ganyan ka-painful na gums and teeth ko (nilalak lak ko na ata maternity milk and calcium supplements ko hehe). So admit na kami the next day and mixed emotions rin ako kasi syempre andyan na si baby exciting times na tapos first time ko pa manganak. Nagbabasa basa na rin ako labor stories and cs stories dito sa girltalk pero mukhang hindi ko naanticipate yung mga nangyari sakin sa cs. hehe. So 10am ang start ng cs operation pero dumating sila 10:30 am na. sa SLMC ako nanganak pala mga sis. Anliit ng operation bed pala! from the hospital room bed pinalipat ako sa operation bed, grabe dun palang paghiga ko hilong hilo na ako. wala pa akong anethesia nun ha. Tas pina-fetal position nako and tinurok na yung likod ko. Tas nilagay na ni doctor ang earphones para raw ma-kalma ako and wala akong marinig na sounds from the operation. Mabilis lang nailabas si baby and katabi ko pa si hubby nung nilabas si baby namin. Pero dahil lubog na lubog ako sa operation bed at hilong hilo na ako nakapikit ako the whole time and nung time na they placed baby on my breast for him to suck immediately, dumilat lang ako saglit to look at his face (sobrang priceless this moment!!) and then i went back to close my eyes habang baby was on my chest then inalis nila and photo-op na sila sa labas with tatay. ako naman nagkick-in na ang antibiotics + anaesthesia sa akin. waaah. eto yung isa sa mga na-prep sakin ng doctor na may 30% raw of women who give birth via cs na sumusuka ng bile (syrup coming from the small intestines, color red) and i thought hindi siguro ako kasama dun pero waah nakakasuka na and ambilis ng effect sakin. ang hirap pala to force something out from the inside if wala ka na nararamdaman from stomach downwards. as in! kaya i could imagine if epidural and kelangan mag-push ka for baby. so hilong hilo plus suka na ako ng suka ng bile, doctor ordered to give me ice cubes i could chew on. it somewhat relieved me pero ibang klase pa rin yung pain. Then i was wheeled in to the recovery room together with other mommies who gave birth. I started to have chills which i didn't anticipate and hilo pa rin all throughout. From 11:30 am to 5:30 pm nasa recovery room ako. antagal nga eh. sabi kasi first in first out raw. parang pagkain lang. hehe. Iba iba nafefeel ko nun, init na init ako pero lamig na lamig rin. ang weird. tas suka pa ako ng suka. i kept on asking for ice cubes kasi yun lang ang prescription sakin and water rin pala. Then was wheeled to the room with baby beside me at 5:30 pm. and from the room i still kept on vomitting even the ones i drank after (gatorade, water). Sobrang chill parin ako nung gabi but nawala na nung mga morning after. Then was encouraged to walk the day after and it took alot of mental encouragement for me to walk going to the restroom and pee. Oh, the pulling out of the catheter was very weird, napa-moan ako, ibang klase pala mga sis. lol.

Alot of things happened after we were discharged. a week after i didnt anticipate this subevolution which medical terms describe as nag-relaxed raw ang uterus or cervix so when we went out to finally have my gums/teeth treated, sobrang bumuhos ang dugo sakin which made us rush to the hospital. ayun balik hospital na naman ako but good thing was hindi na kami overnight. haaay. this is cs version on my body. but looking at our baby, maiiyak ka na lang and i would end up saying "you're all worth it"

congrats lilisweetangel! Medyo nakakaloka ang mag-vomit ng kulay red pero bilib ako sa iyo Mommy! Tapang!

I had my IE too today (35 weeks). Nakapuwesto na si baby and malaki naman daw "sipit-sipitan" ko kaya go na go na kami sa Lamaze. I was told din na hindi na ako aabot ng due date ko (June 15 based on AOG) kasi nakakapa na daw ni OB ang head ni baby.

I had a tour of the HRPU, Labor and Delivery Rooms (pero silip lang) and the private rooms. May birthing room/suite pala ang SLMC QC pero iisa lang. Unahan portion. 

I'll be having my check up again in two weeks and ire-ready na daw ni OB admitting orders niya sa akin. Excited na ako!

Had contractions all night long. At 12 noon today, i lost my mucus plug and then my water broke after 2 hours.. Contractions every 5-7 mins now... Malapit na.

Hello mga sis, scheduled for CS ako next week, ask ko lang sa mga elective CS, lumabas ba agad breastmilk nyo or ilang days bago lumabas? Worry ko kasi since scheduled CS ako baka di pa ready milk ko at magutom si baby.

^ sakin sis lumabas naman agad. Basta I think the key is just start Breastfeeding right away para magproduce ka kaagad ng milk. And then tuloy tuloy lang every two hours. I think naman the nurses should help stimulate both you and your baby (to suck) para ma-establish ang milk production. good luck and Godbless!

^ right after my 38th week mark sis. GD kasi ako so it has to be earlier then 40weeks, tapos di kaya normal kasi small ang pelvic opening ko (we tried normal sa firstborn namin pero di kaya). According to my OB kasi, paabutin daw sana ng 38 weeks para mas kampante sya na developed na ang lungs.

^pareho pala tayo ng case sis, gang 2-3cm lang ako nagdilate sa first born ko kaya emergency CS na. 38th week ko na din next week kaya inesched na ako. Although di ako GD gusto ko na lang talaga mag pa CS na kasi baka mag labor pa ako. Pinapili naman ako ng OB ko from 38th-39th wk. na date. Excited na ako!

Gusto nga din sa amin antayin muna mag 38 weeks man lang kasi suggestion ni OB scheduled CS nako ng 37 weeks pero iadmit dapat ako last Monday para mabigyan pampamature ng lungs ni baby.

^ilang weeks ka na sis? Di ba cord coil si baby mo? Akala ko pag ganun agad agad ilalabas ang baby? Kaya naman na ang 37th week pasok nga lang sya sa early term, 38th kasi ang full term.

^confused na nga rin talaga ako sis, double cord coil si baby ko, sa totoo lang gusto ko na nga siya ilabas as soon as possible kasi nga baka kasi nga may mga risks if patatagalin pa or ipilit na ilabas ng normal. Kaya lang originally kasi, based sa ultrasound ko noong early stage ng pregnancy ko, dapat due ko eh June 18 pa. Naging June 10 tapos nabago na naman based na sa ultrasound. Worry kasi namin baka maNICU pa si baby kapag ilabas this week although sabi nga ni OB okay na kasi 37 weeks na siya.  Gusto ko nga sana sundin eh iyong unang ultrasound, kasi sabi nila mas accurate daw iyon eh. Kaya lang if iyon susundin, dapat first week pa ng June mag 38 weeks si baby.

hi mga sis..natuwa naman ako sa mga nakapanganak na...mag 37 weeks na ako this week...ninenerbyos ako pero na eexcite din..first time mom, at ang tagal ng hinintay namen ni hubby para sa greatest gift ni papa Jesus...pero alam ko, tulad ng ibang ina, kayang kaya namen ito. takot ako mag ire, pero gusto ko as much as possible, normal delivery...kakatapos ko lang mag packed ng gamit ni baby, hindi ko alam kung labis o kulang dala ko..later naman yun sa akin..God bless sa ating lahat...have a safe delivery to all.....

Hi mommies! I gave birth to our daughter last friday, May 16, at 39 weeks. I had her by water birth at the hospital and the experience was great. No pain relievers, no gas, no epidural... I felt i was in control the whole labor process. I' ll share my experience sa labor stories thread. I pushed like less than 10 mins and she was out. Sabi ng MW ko, super dream labor daw yung nangyari sa akin given na first timer ako. I am thankful talaga.

Konting tiis na lang sa mga mommies na naghihintay dito. Tummy rub and have a safe delivery everyone!

^ congrats, sis! Kakaexcite, dami na nanganganak. Naiinip na nga din ako e. Hehe..

37wks na kami ni baby. Kainis lang kasi me flu ako ngayon - upo, sipon,lagnat, sakit ng katawan. Had my lab tests done kanina, cbc and urinalysis. Then bukas punta kami kay OB. Sa Saturday pa dapat checkup namin pero mapapaaga kasi nga me sakit ako. Nagwo-worry pa ako kasi tuwing uubo ako, naninigas tyan ko. Pinapainom ako now ng gamot na pangkontra sa preterm labor, for 3 days daw, 2nd day today. Hay.. sana gumaling na ako. Willing na ako to take antibiotics mapabilis lang paggaling ko. Hrap kasi ng maysakit, di pa ako makatulog sa gabi..

39w2d na kami ni baby pero hindi parin sya lumalabas.. check up namin nung saturday sarado parin daw cervix ko.. ano ba dapat kong gawin? akyat baba na ako sa hagdan at lakad ng lakad at naka evening primrose oil narin ako.. nakakainip!

^sis ako rin, inip na ko manganak!  I'll be on my 36th week this coming friday. My OB already gave admitting order para anytime na mafeel ko na lalabas na si baby eh go na daw kami sa hospital. 1st time mom and super excited na din ako. Right now I don't feel any takot with regard to labor pains. Sobrang excitement lang talaga nafi-feel ko. I hope hindi ako ma-overdue. Hehe.. sabi kasi ng mga officemates ko usually daw pag first baby lumalagpas pa sa due date. I hope sa akin hindi naman. Good luck sa ating mga naghihintay na kay baby!
