Hi. Has anyone tried Brazilian at Lay Bare? What do they use, hot or cold wax, and masakit ba for a first-timer? And one more thing, muntanga mode Lang talaga, will you be naked upon doing the waxing part? Or naked sa bottom Lang?  Thanks mga sisters! 😃😊😀

^cold wax ang gamit sa Lay Bare sis. for a first timer, hmm, yes masakit sya pero it helps din if you'll take advil mga 30mins or an hour before ka magpa wax para mabawasan yung pain. and yeah, naked sa bottom lang. :) go na sis. it's worth it. iba yung feeling na smooth sya down there. :)

Beware of STRIP Serendra. Went there last week for an upper lip waxing. The next day I have this HUGE red scar/tearing on my face. When I came back to complain, I was told to put a cream (which they provided) and wait for one to two weeks and it'll heal. So now I have to endure the scar for on my face (birthday pa naman ng daughter ko and may school event yung son ko).

I escalated it to upper management. It wasn't my first time to had this service at their shop and never nagkaroon ng problem. I was giving them a chance to make it right, since first time lang naman nangyari.

But instead of being sorry, I was told that since I'm using sunblock and facial wash, it  could have caused the scars. Plus, I told their therapist that I was using those before she started waxing.

i had brazilian waxing last weekend sa newly opened branch ng Strip sa SM Megamall. okay na okay ang service. priced at P1298, i dunno kung nagtaas ba sila ng price or mali lang ako ng pagkakaalala, kase before parang P1200 lang yun eh.

sa let's face it mura lang brazilian less than 500 i think. Ang taas daw ng pain tolerance ko kasi dire diretso lang kami, no need nga ako for pain killers prior waxing, tawa lang kami ng tawa kasi natatawa ako na napapamura sa sakit haha Second time ko next week. Para sa honeymoon haha i prefer hot wax talaga. Ayoko cold wax

I will never go back there. Ever!

Mga two years na ko nagpapahalf leg wax. First time was at Nailaholics (hot wax) and okay ang experience ko. Maganda yung pulls nya, small area then mabilis magpull. Ito yun technique na hinahanap-hanap ko na after sa other waxing salon na napuntahan ko. Ayoko yung large area agad yung pinupull kasi masakit since less yung force sa dulo, and dapat talaga hindi pataas yung direction, dapat malapit pa rin sa skin pag pinull.
Went to Laybare for the second time (cold wax) and super ang sakit. Since then big no-no na ko sa cold wax. They use gigi wax. Okay naman service nila. Have tried their Megamall and Eastwood branch.
Now nagpapaUA wax na din ako, hot. I have tried at Neo Day Spa BGC. What I like there is kahit ua & half leg wax, they still offered me to take the shower. And I like how cozy their spa is.
I have also tried BW. I did it the first time at Pink Parlour (Hypermarket Pasig) and okay din ang service. Good enough for first-timer like me. Ma-rapport and friendly the attendant. Sabi pa sakin nung receptionist nung nalaman nila na first time ko, pakihanda na daw yung balde para sa balde-balde kong luha haha
Second time is at Strip (BGC). Mas gusto ko yung interior ng Strip and better sila in terms of sanitation, & homey talaga yung feeling dito so marerelax ka. Sa output I think same lang sila ni Pink Parlour. Mas mabilis lang yung sa Strip (done in 10 minutes) compared sa 40 minutes ko in Pink Parlour, though first time kasi yung sa Pink & pinagrerest ako ng attendant in between kaya understandable. Ang maganda lang sa Strip is masisingit ko sa lunch break since mabilis sila.
For my next 2 BW sa Pink Parlour ulit ako since inavail ko yung 2+1 package nila dati. I just tried Strip out of curiosity. Pink Parlour is Php900, while Strip (all-off) is Php1,298.
By the way Strip offered me their package of 5 sessions, usable in 2 years for 5k. You'll save 1,500 if you'll avail of this. 5 sessions in Pink Parlour is 900*5=4,500 so cheaper pa rin si Pink ng 500.

Ano nga pala ginagamit nyong cream after BW? Have you tried Nanny Rose mild like chamomile? Pwede ba yun sa private area? Or natry nyo na ba yung VMV after shave solution?

Strip Megamall opened its doors last month (or earlier this month?). Visited them today for my monthly brazilian session. It feels more luxurious than their Serendra branch which I used to frequent. I guess it's goodbye Wink Fort and hello again Strip for me.

Nag increase sila ng prices earlier this year. Sabi ng technician ko kanina, they will increase again by another Php 100 next month for brazilian. Not sure sa ibang services.
