Hi guys!

I'm a Yolanda Survivor from Tacloban City. I tried to back read all your post but I can't read it all, my time is limited in reading all of your post. What I can say is that It was really such an unforgettable experience. Akala ko end of the world na.

I was so busy with my work.

DAMN! Mas malala pa nga iyong ginawa niya eh. Grabe kung mamulitika. Anyway, I'm just hoping na maka bangon na ang Tacloban kong mahal.

Yolanda's wrath was a lesson for us. :)

Hi Sis.

I have friends who are Preppers. and out of all the studying and field tests they had done, considering a lot of them are lawyers, businessmen etc, ang nakikita ko talagang outcome is that you can only rely on yourself, and you can only control what you can grasp.

Yolanda even changed the playbook of prepping.

Gov'ts can only do so much. mas limited pa ang Gov't ng pinas. maybe it was a "save you own ***"  situation for him...we don't know. maaaring wala din siya magawa kasi wala na siyang mahawakan, whether pera, staff etc.

siguro, what we can do now is to prepare for the unknown, not to vote for people like him in the next elections, and control what we can control. Pinas deserves to move forward.

History will repeat itself. yun na po ang nature ng history. nangyari na daw noon sa Tacloban, then nangyari ngayong panahon, it can happen again....

as for me, i'm personally preparing too but more on the practical side of things. i have bug out equipment (bag,kits and 4wd).  medical supplies. food. water/water filters.  portable solar chargers etc..i have even undergone 2 survival training courses (and will be joining more in the future.).

at least may control ako...and i did my part kahit papano.

I'm a baby Arhat. An Arhat has a well developed intuition, advanced mental powers, highly refined emotions and a strong desire to contribute personally to the uplifting of humanity.

@Leven
Inisip ko rin iyon. Mahirap talaga iyong nangyari. Lahat kasi biktima. Mayaman man o Mahirap.

@akthung
Bro, It was really a lesson for all. Sana matuto na rin iyong mga fellow Taclobanons on who we should vote.

We're also from Tacloban but resides in Manila na but some family members works there. I believe Mayor Romualdez was and still is a good leader. Sa administration nya umunlad talaga ang Tacloban at nagkaroon ng big malls (Robinsons, SM), there is even talk of an Ayala mall and some investments worth a billion. Marami pang ibang accomplishment really. Sa tingin ko, yung mga naninira ngayon dito sa thread na to are not really from Tacloban but Noytards or if from Tacloban are relatives/supporters of the Petilla/Noel etc political rivals of the Romualdezes. Politics as usual.

Mark my word, mananalo si Kringkring as Mayor hahaha.

I have been a GT but was inactive thus my profile shows I'm a newbie.

Just wanted to share this Facebook page that is trying to show the gratefulness of all the Yolanda/Haiyan survivors for the help received from all around the world.
