I was looking at either spectra 9+ din or the M1 kasi for my office pump. Nasira na kasi motor nung avent ko na pump. Although I read sa babymama site na you can buy yun parang silicon things (the one that covers the plastic flange over your breasts) similar sa avent from her but I'm not sure if tama ang understanding ko. Yun isa kong spectra pump (350 Hospital grade) kasi wala din nun silicon thing na yun and although malakas output ko in the long run nag-cracked nipples ako until pinahinto na ako ng OB ko kasi nagsusugat na yun nips ko e!

So for the spectra users here, which is better yun 9+ or yun M1? Saka did you also buy those silicon things din to attach to the plastic flange? TIA!

Spectra 9+ user here, mas travel friendly ang 9+ compare sa M1. sa cost, mas mura si M1. performance wise, pareho lang sila nagkataon lang na mas maraming suction levels si 9+.

yung silicon na white? hindi na. its already included in the package kapag binili mo siya.

@baby_peanut, what do you mean by mas travel friendly? It's smaller and more compact? I plan on buying spectra m1 since it's cheaper but checking out 9+ too.

^Yes sis. Yung 9+ kasi rectangular shape na medyo malaki at makapal sa cellphone. madali mo syang maiisingit sa bag. yung m1 kasi parang cd player na makapal, ayyy hirap iexplain heheh.

I used Medela Freestyle I saw Kourtney Kardashian pumping hands free and I was amazed found out she was using the Freestyle... so ayun gusto ko rin

very, very handy! I brought some bras for it too so as weird as it sounds/looks, I was also pumping while doing something in the kitchen.

I bought 2nd hand m1 last month. 5 months pa lang nya nagamit and she upgrade her elec breast pump kaya nya binenta ang m1. Minsan ko pa lang nagamit since unli latch naman si baby. So far ok naman yung m1. It can pump 1-2oz from my left boob pero hindi kaya i-pump ng m1 or manual bp right boob ko. Si baby lang ang may kaya. Siguro kasi onti milk at butas ng right boob ko compare sa left boob. Hindi na talaga pantay boobs ko. Babalik na ako sa work next week and my plan is to set up my m1 sa clinic namin. I want to upgrade to s9+ someday. Ipon muna ako hehe.

Medyo pricey pero kung okay naman quality, why not. Para naman kay baby. hehe. Sige sis, pa feedback naman if okay yung brand na Pigeon. I might get one if okay siya. Salamat!

Bought 9+. I like it kasi very quiet and portable.

Cons: The first time I tried it, masakit na e I was on Level 2 lang at that time. The next time I tried it naka level 5 na, nagka cracked nipple ako. Ang sakit.

Hi Sis, ano nilalagay mo sa nipples mo pag nag ka crack? I use Pigeon's Nipple Care Cream and so far okay naman siya. Safe din talaga for breastfeeding mommies. One time i also tried using their nipple shield kaso medyo ayaw ni baby. hehe. Try mo lang yung cream sis, baka effective for you.

Hi sis Gabee, yung sister ko Pigeon electric pump gamit nya pero sa ibang bansa niya binili eh, I think HK if I'm not mistaken. Mukhang nama okay sa kanya. hehe. It was just recommended to her by a friend kasi matibay daw.

Sis, I have an electric single Pigeon pump, ganito itsura niya. I love it. Ganito itsura nung akin http://www.amazon.com/PIGEON-Free-Portable-Electric-Breast/dp/B00S3M6H5E - pero hindi ganyan ang price! Dito sa HK ko siya binili...HK$380 siya sa mga stores pero nakuha ko siya nung nagsale sa WingOn, $308 nalang siya. Sa umaga mga 7am ko siya ginagamit or in the middle of the night kasi ang Medela PISA katamad iset up sa madaling araw or umaga. I use it while baby is latched on sa kabila. Problem ko lang sakanya, hindi ako makakuha na ng milk if ever si baby eh nagdede na sa both breast (I guess normal naman yun) very effective siya sakin magpump out ng milk kung nakalatch on si baby sa kabila at sa breast na di pa nadedehan ni baby. Hindi masakit at talaganmg sirit ako ng sirit sakanya pero sa umaga to ha, I don't really pump with from 8am-2am. sa mga oras na nagpapump ako usually madami talagang gatas.

Sis babypeanut! Thanks much for the reply and info! As of now naman I am leaning towards 9+ kasi nga newer model. Ok din un if may silicon things na kasama na siya sa package! Ang problem ko na lang is how to measure my nips kasi sabi dapat after feeding e shempre preggy pa lang ako now! Sana mag-sale si babymama!! hehe

Any comments on the Philips Avent Comfort Double Electric Breast Pump?  I've used the manual ones for my first baby and I was so happy with it since I got to breastfeed for 2++ years until baby naturally weaned.  Is the double electric pump better?

mommies i was using avent un single na electric pump. in 6 mos time naka 2 motor na ako ayaw ko na pagawa now nasira nanaman. i was eyeing unimom forte or spectra 300 kasi mas cheaper kesa 9+ or m1. kung spectra ang buy ko ok na ba un 300? o dapat 350? or better un unimom? please help medyo short sa budget kasi kaya kahit gusto ko nun 9+ medyo nagaalangan ako thanks in advance

im a spectra 9+ user, my baby turning 9mos na and i am very thankful sa breastpump ko na ito because until now exclusively bf kami

Hanggang suction level4 lang ako sa pump na ito masyado na kasi masakit iyong mas mataas na level, minsan nga massage lang gamit ko.

^same here sis, im using 9+ at mag 9 months na din si lo. Ako naman umaabot ng 5 to 6 ang suction level pero lagi lang akong nasa massage mode para di bugbog nipples ko.

Hello fellow mommies. Just wanna ask for your advice. I wanted to buy an electric breastpump. I tried manual pero konti yun naeexpress ko. Anyway, I am really confused po kasi, I don't know if I should and if I could kasi right now po nag breastfeed ako direct latch and formula. I am one of those who could not fully and purely breastfeed. I've been reading a lot and I know and believe din na direct latch is better and will stimulate milk production, but the thing is I am also working from home. Honestly sometimes I wanted to give up na bf-ing pero when I get to my senses kaya nga ako nag work from home to be able to take care of LO and be able to bf din. Kaya lang po it's really really hard, I have to work at the same time do all the chores, ako lang alone in the house we do not have any help and sometimes bf-ing consumes a lot of time, hubby is working. Baby latches po more than an hour until he falls asleep and he is usually hungry na after 1-5 to 2 hours. Pag pump naman wala pang 1oz 30 mins na pump ba yun, but I've read na whatever you express does not necessarily mean na yun lang ang milk mo. Now my problem is l, there was one day that I went out and left LO with hubby, when I got home and since then, parang ayaw na nya mag latch. Pag sobrang hungry and groggy na lang sya. Now I'm worried that LO will stop feeding from me. Do you think electric breastpump will help? i really really would still like to be able to breastfeed but should I buy, is it still worth it pa kaya? Any advice will do. Thanks!

^ if your baby stops direct feeding sayo, mas bababa ang supply mo. how old is your baby? there's a big possibility kasi na nipple confuse kaya ayaw mag latch. join breastfeeding pinays group sa fb sis. you will learn a lot from that group and other options available din for working moms like you.

electric pump will not help unless you have an established supply na.
