mga ganyan din uuwi si h2b..sabi ko naman sa kanya baka pwedeng 3 weeks before naman. alam ko naman maraming LDR kaya lang bago pa lang nagprepare ng wedding (as in wala pa kaming nabook hehe). sige sabihan kita kung makakapunta ko mega gusto ko rin punta dun pero iisipin ko kung worth it dahil taga-south naman ako. baka mapamahal din kami hehe..

omg sis..parang parehas ata tayo ng situation.. yan din ang dilemma ko.. working overseas sya.. sabi ko sknya pwede bang month before wedding date sya umuwi.. medyo malabo daw

kasi dba may canonical interview pa..then mga papers na dapat ayusin seminars etc..

we hired a wedding coodinator at sobrang kilala na sya dun sa church na malapit sa amin. suki na yata sya dun. pwede daw marathon na 1-day seminar na ang instead na 3 sundays. kahit uwi daw si bf 2 weeks before for the marriage license. kasi 10 days daw yun.

actually hindi yan ang church na preferred ko, mas maliit un church na yun. pero ok na din kesa mamroblema pa kami. sayang din baka maubos lang kasi bakasyon nya sa 3 sundays...

we were able to book elation bar(10% discount), wink for invitations(20% discount), flipbooks(from 19k to 13k), speed7 lights and sounds(5k discount), philharmonic(1k discount) at the megatrade bridal fair. not bad.

^flipbooks will be at the smx fair also. aside from flipbooks, we're thinking of getting their photobooth magnets as well. it's stated naman in our contract that we can still get it at a discounted price even if we decide later. ok sila kausap.

^ ay talaga sis? Yey! Will hunt them down there kase gusto ni h2b na macheck yung mismo flipbooks muna before deciding but we are thinking of getting the 3 hrs unli flipbooks with photo magnets and guestbook din.

^yup, they said they'll be there daw. kami naman we got the flipbooks booth for 4 hours, then option to add the photobooth magnet(3 hours) for P6,500.

just another option, if you're still looking. naaliw kami sa e-guestbook booth. it's an interactive booth, you have a big touchscreen tv that you can customize your photos on. parang photobooth din siya, but you can add messages, icons etc on your photo. then you can have it printed. aliw sya. it was priced at P20k during the fair. almost ganun din yung cost if you book flipbooks(4hrs) and the photo magnets(3hrs). i think they're 'teralifestyle' on facebook.

^ 17.5k naman yung 3 hrs flip + 3 hrs photomagnet & guestbook. Nakita ko nga yung flyer ng e-guestbook nung inaayos ko yung mga flyers na nakuha namin sa fair the other day. Sayang di ko napansin yung booth nila. Looks aliw nga.

Be careful when dealing with suppliers sa bridal fair na pretending that their rates are lower sa fair. Buti na lang hindi ako nauto. One florist claimed na discounted na raw package rates nila sa fair and mataas na after the fair, then I visited their shop today, same package rates lang binigay sakin.

i didn't book my florist din sa fair. ang alam ko kasi, based sa season yung flower rates.

ang pinakamaliit na discount na nakuha ko sa fair is philharmonic, haha. 1k lang.

I think flowers and weddings rings are priced the same sa fair vs. sa store mismo.
Minsan nga mas mahal pa sila sa bridal fairs kasi magdidiscount din sila to compensate.

This florist told us to pay 1k dp in order to lock-in the price - para raw makuha namin ang "special" fair rate nila.

We were able to get 2 suppliers during the fair: photobooth & mobile bar.

we wanted sana to get Pose and Print(photobooth) kaso may additional fee pala pag sa venue namin. buti pala nagtext ako and natanong ko yun bago ako pumunta sa fair. sa fair this coming March magpapabook na ako ng photobooth(CLIP) and lights supplier, baka pati invitations na din. 2 1/2 mos na lang wedding na namin at wala pa kame invitations. sana may tumanggap pa na gagawa nung samin. hehe

agree with you sis kiracharlie, nakaencounter ako dati P/V supplier. Alam ko na before pa pumunta sa fair na 100K ang package rate nila.. so during fair im expecting na mas lower ang price nila pero no.. nakasulat sa brochure nila "100K (instead of 110K)".. sa isip isip ko, hala baka nagprice increase na sila.. so after a few days, naginquire ako ulit thru email and 100K parin talaga ang rate nila.. WEIRD!

mas ok talaga na we do research muna before going to the fair atleast may idea tayo sa normal rates nila at hindi tayo basta naloloko sa inooffer nilang "discounted" rates.
