HONG KONG GUIDE (THREAD 35)

Hi mga sis! Will be in HK on 20-23 Jan. Need your help/inputs sa iti namin.

Day1: 10am - arrival in HK
11am - proceed to Golden crown for check in
12pm - check in Golden crown
1pm - Ngong Ping - (pano po pumunta dito from GC) and late lunch
4pm - proceed to The Peak and MT (pano po pumunta dito from NP)
9pm - ladies market (pano po pumunta dito from the Peak)

day 2 - Disneyland the whole day ( Pano po pumunta from GC)

Day 3 - 9am - proceed to Ocean Park (pano po pumunta from Gc)
 6pm  - avenue of the star ( same q, how to get here from OP)

Day 4 -  730pm ang flight back to manila. Ano pa po ang pwede puntahan dito.?

Doable po ba ang iti na ito? San po pwede kumain na affordable at masarap naman.

Day 1: Pwedeng right after nyo mag Ngong Ping, shopping na lang sa Citygate, since on the way na sya. If kaya pa, go to The Peak.

Day 2: Disneyland

Day 3: Ocean Park tapos The Peak (if di nyo napuntahan on Day 1). Tapos Avenue of Stars. Pwede rin kayo mag Ladies Market (mongkok).

Day 4: Pwedeng pasalubong shopping, explore Tsim Sha Tsui area, malls (Silvercord, Harbour City).

mga sis, next month na yung punta namin hk... balak ko magpunta sa citygate outlet para magshopping. pwede ba credit card sa citygate? baka kc madami ko makita at bigla ko maubusan ng cash

gusto ko din sana bumili ng local sim card sa hk kaya lang yung phone ko pala naka sim-lock sa smart.  may simcard ba si smart sa hk na pwede ko gamitin for text and data lang?

^Yes sis, most if not all the stores in Citygate accepts credit cards .

was able to book sa Merryland. Fully booked na sa Golden Crown e, second choice ko sana Hop Inn kaso na late sila ng reply na email ko e nakapag pa book na ko sa Merryland. Sana maging ok ang stay namin dun.

mga sis, I need you help sa Iti namin. pagdating namin sa HKIA balak ko sana derecho na sa ngong ping kase nabasa ko na malapit na yun dun. Iiwan na lang sa locker sa Citygate yung bags namin, tama ba? From the airport, ano ba ang sasakyan namin papunta ng Ngong Ping? and after ng Ngong Ping, ano pa ba ang pwedeng isabay na tourist attraction na malapit dun para di sayang yung araw namin. BTW, 9am ang arrival namin sa HKIA. TIA

^From HKIA, sakay lang kayo ng S1 Bus, going to Tung Chung. Katabi na nun yung cable car terminal. After that, pwedeng shopping sa Citygate or punta na kayo sa guesthouse. Either mag-Avenue of Stars/Symphony of Lights na lang kayo sa gabi or night markets.

Yan din dati plan namin diretso ngong ping from airport pero di nangyari, dumiretso na lang kami sa guesthouse though hindi pa pwede mag check in. 9am din touchdown namin then lunch time kami nakarating sa guesthouse, iniwan namin baggage then lunch kami, pagbalik namin pinayagan na kami magcheck in. tapos nagtour na lang kami within the area. 1881 Heritage, Clock Tower, Avenue of Stars, Peak Tram and The Peak

second day nag nan lian garden, ngong ping village and city gate outlet kami.

we'll be there din ng April and yun din concerns ko. regarding visa issue and flu. i guess hindi naman nila basta basta implement yung visa requirement ng short notice but booked na kasi lahat so hassle talaga kapag biglang may additional requirement pa.

My brother and his family are based in HK. Me two small kids sila, 8yo and 5yo. Wala naman sila nababanggit na threat ng flu. Lagi pa rin sila nasa labas, especially nung holidays and halos every weekend nasa Disneyland (sinusulit ang annual pass, hehe). So I guess it's pretty safe to travel there naman. As for the visa, wala pa din naman advisory. And if ever magkaron ng visa requirement for tourists, I'm sure ample time will be given naman before it's effectivity, para tourists can be given time to apply. Di naman siguro tipong ASAP e required na ang visa.

Hi! Saan maganda magshopping sa central? Yung may mga stores like coach, longchamp, etc? Anong exit yun sa central station? Lagi kasi kami sa tsim sha tsui and causeway bay nagshoshopping and this time i want to experience shopping in central naman. Thanks

^Yes sis, allot 1 whole day sa Disney and OP lalo na may 2 kids pa, mabibitin sila. Sa Disneyland stay until fireworks at 8 pm, para sulit na sulit. Tsaka wag dapat magkasunod yung days nyo ng Disney and OP, para may time to rest din.

^ thanks sis for the advice at least may idea nako kasi medyo lito ako since last year sa SG kami one day lang ang universal, sea aquarium and songs of the sea namin. so feeling ko naman kaya ang half day lang per theme park. sundin ko yung sinabi mo.
