nagsalita na pala si lakwatsa! so van it is! maghahanap na lang ako ng murang van rental. yung tour guide ba galing na din sa van rental or sa mismong angkor [textspeak!] yun?

Pwede ka na magpakuha ng guide sa rerentahan mo ng van or sa hotel. Kami kasi we booked the car muna then pahabol na lang ang guide, pero both through the tour desk ng hotel. I think standard rate for the guide is about $25-$30 per day. The guides kasi are licensed, and naka-uniform sila.

hello sisses! im interested in bkk and siem reap trip, ano ba mas okay mla-bkk-siem reap-mla or mla-siem reap-bkk-mla? and may nakapag try na ba nung air asia flight from don mueang airport,bangkok to siem reap airport? Tia!

siguro kasi di ako nakakasakay dito satin ng trycicle
saka maganda view, tanaw mo lahat ,,im fond of mga country side view pa naman
saka di naman maalikabok sa SR, unlike sa BKK, mailinis nga sila parang SG, so farun mga nadaanan ko

pero pag madami advisable nga ang

^ me too, I enjoyed the tuktuk ride. 2 lang kami ni hubby kaya nakataas pa paa. Relax na relax, hehe.. And since late ang flight pauwi, tuktuk na din sinakyan namin pa-airport. Sakto kasi gabi yun, so medyo mahangin din.

bait pa sa airport nila nag excess kami ng 2 kilos walang charge

while yung sa Coron, yung katabi namin na charge sa 2 kilos

I went to Siem Reap last week. I had a great time there despite being a solo traveler. (I actually met a fellow solo traveler who became my instant buddy.)

I had a temple overdose on my first day. On our second day, however, my new friend and I toured the Angkor Complex and the city by bike. We enjoyed the experience even if we biked for 6 long hours. If the weather would permit, I recommend you to try biking in Siem Reap. It will surely be an experience of a lifetime.

The Khmer people are also nice and friendly. And please do drop by the Sister Srey Cafe. The owner is so accommodating and her story is humbling.

There goes my Siem Reap experience. I will never forget that one.

Yung tuktuk may lagayan pa ng bottled water yan na malamig din sa ilalim ng seat.  Napaka-hospitable ng mga Cambodians!  At kahit countryside ang view, di maalikabok

Hi all! Just done BR-ing the previous thread and mostly nga Bou Savy ang reco GH. Just wanna ask kung ano yung breakfast nila? Set ba na may choices ir simple bread, tea/coffee, jam? Thanks!

I'm choosing this GH and Mother Home GH na may buffet breakfast pero at a slightly higher price. ^^ so far itonlang difference nila and yung distance sa old market/pub street.

set choices sis. and also for example, booked ka ng 3 days, tapos ang last day mo ay check out mo ay madaling araw, natural hindi pa breakfast time, pwede ka makiusap sa kanila. they will make you a sandwhich para baon mo. that's what they did for me. kaya when i went to BKK on a bus trip, i had baon.

One day lang sana namin mag temple overload eh..yung second day namin sana museum..meron ba? Or meron pa ba kami pwede puntahan maliban sa mga temples? Thank u!

Meron sila National Museum, pero maliit lang. Siguro max 2hrs dun.

^I recommend Kriss from Tripadvisor. I paid $55 for the Angkor Complex + Bantay Srei tour (van coz there's 4 of us ) + $35 for the tour guide. If you hire car lang, its cheaper =)

may money changer ba sa Aran-Poipet border? USD to Baht? From Siem reap to bangkok kasi kami and we'll take an early trip from Siem reap.

^iba ba ang van rental sa tour guide? Sa Thunborey kame magstay at dun na din yung van sa Angkor [textspeak!] tour. Pero wala pa kame tour guide.

^ yes, iba pa. Although meron yata yung mga sumasideline na sila driver, sila na din guide.

We booked our car rental sa hotel namin. Then when we arrived sa SR,  tsaka na kami nagpabook for tour guide, through our hotel na din. $30/day yung rate nung guide namin.
