"'luxury" para sa iba, pero necessity para sayo

Luxury for me, I think, are:

1. Skin care products - like face masks which cost P70+, CC cream, facial serum 
2. Quarterly local or international travels
3. And of course, dining out perhaps twice a week.

Anything else, I scrimp na.

^ Me, too. Branded shoes, bags and clothes. Investment talaga kasi tumatagal. Pag murang shoes and bags, madaling masira.

I think I buy one high-quality bag, dress and a pair of shoes once per year lang. Tumatagal nga, sometimes every two years na lang, kung okay pa.

good accommodation whenever i travel, either for work or vacation.

Skin care products like facial mask sheet (actually yun lang saka one moisturizer).
Diamond peel once to twice a month.
Healthy Juice detox (veggies and fruits) once a month.

Sometimes, when i travel gusto ko yung relax ako sa airplane kaya mapili ako sa airlines kasi mabilis ako mahilo and sa hotel rooms ayoko yung uneasy ako sa tinutulugan ko.

Mahilig rin ako sa branded bags. Pinagiipunan ko talaga kasi habol ko yun quality. Talagang nagtatagal siya. Sa shoes hindi masyado kasi parang sa lahat ng gamit shoes ang madaling magluma kahit mahal pa yun brand na bilhin ko.

Simula ng nag eearn naako ng sarili kong pera, na feel ko na ang tipid pala namin ng family ko hehe.

1. Parking fee
Noon : Naghahanap kami ng parking na libre, it would mean na mag papark sa may naka paskil na "No Parking" pero marami naka park lol
Ngayon: Hinde ako nag ppark sa valet,, not yet haha. Pero kahit magkano yung fee basta malapit sa entrance/exit.

**Blessing pa na now I get to work from home so wala gas and parking fee expense, ang bawi ko nga lang since nakaka urat pag work from home eh I go out to eat or to buy ingredients.

2. Restaurant/Buffet meals -- Just the ability to eat out is a luxury to some but I need this hehe
Noon: Yung date date namin dati na low end kahit Mcdo ok na, high end na samin yung sa magandang resto.
Ngayon: Since I work from home at mabilis ma bored out of the blue nag aalok ako mag buffet meal kami ng husband ko at maganda pa marami really nice buffet places here in Manila below 1000. I also appreciate good food and how the meals are prepared, iniisip ko they worked hard to make this meal for me and hinde sya gawa ng machine full of chemicals so it can take shipping and probably stay in a freezer or wrapped in a plastic bag for months. I know most restos iniinit lang din yung ibang food but the ambiance din maganda sa psyche lol

3. Car
Noon: Hinde ko maintindihan yung parents ko kahit short distance eh nag kkotse pa, puede naman mag tricycle. Nag ccomute ako nun talaga I'd prefer to ride the bus or MRT nga eh kaysa mag drive. 
Ngayon: Dahil may baby na, pag may anak nga naman para hinde mausukan at comfortable kahit matulog or kung ano ano gawin pag may sariling car, lalol na hawak mo oras mo.

weird, no? gumagastos ako sa at least 700-count na sheets. kasi ang sarap talagang tulugan. i have 5 sets so far, and pag may chance (lalo kung sale), i buy talaga. nasa gift registry na rin yan for my upcoming wedding.

A good hotel when I travel.  It does not have to be 5-star, 4-star with good location and spacious rooms okay na with me.  I just cannot sleep in a hostel or a tiny room.

Post paid mobile plan. Para sa iba luxury, akala nila dahil lang I'm overspending my money sa phone line, Yung tama lang para sa kailangan ko (At aminin na natin pag wala ka android phone parang dull ang buhay  ). Syempre since nag-asawa ako bihira na ako makabisita sa mama ko. So gusto ko anytime of the day matatawagan ko sya.

Fully automatic washing machine. My ILs think that I'm just being luxurious when I purchased it. Hindi na nila naisip na sobrang nakakagaan para sa aming mag-asawa yun. Working couple needs rest during weekend pero kelangan pa maglaba diba? Nasan na ang relaxation namin pag weekends? Yung ibang house chores pa na kelangan gawin. Sabi ni MIL "hindi naman kelangan yang ganyang kamahal na washing" parinig effect. Sa isip ko lang. " So what to you? I can afford to buy it, hindi mo nga kami matulungan kahit kumuha ng sinampay may gana ka pa mainggit". Sa isip isip ko lang ha...Haizt! sorry for the words. I just found out that crab mentality is still alive nowadays.

Good skin care and products Not just being vain. Diba dapat lang naman talaga alagaaan nating mga girls sarili natin? Achieving a good skin is first on the list. Not necessarily na nasa spa ako every payday, but if I really need assistance na like serious breakouts talagang nagpapa-derma na ako and let my husband feel that it's important to me. Basic skin care like lotion, moiturizing cream, cleansing milk, good soap etc. Others may see it too luxurious like " ano ba yan ang dami dami ipinapahid sa katawan", hindi nila maintindihan eh, or else maging losyang na lang din ako katulad ng iba. Just saying....

Taxi booking services like Easy Taxi and Grab Taxi. I'd gladly pay for the comfort and convenience of being picked up from our gate hehe.

Branded stuff, ultimo wedding ring namin ni h2b kailangan branded.. Quality wise

Hotel accommodations - always sa magagandang hotels be it in Tagaytay, Subic, Batangas, Boracay, HK, BKK, name it, we always go for comfort..

Lahat ata ng movies, sa movie house kami nanonood and we always prefer sa may reclining seats.. Depende sa sched namin, 2-3x per week kami magwatch..

Eating out everytime, we love trying out new restos, it's like everyday is date day, not just on special occasions..

Newest iPhone na postpaid, ayoko kasi ng mabagal na fone hehe

International family travels. - we live a stressful life so I believe that we deserve naman to unwind. This is also our family bonding time aside sa mga normal family activities.

Weekly massage - again, because of stress

Car - i save a lot of time drving than waiting for the next bus/jeep to arrive. More on saving time lang talaga ito for me. No problem naman to commute wag lang pahirapan ng paghanap ng masasakyan.

- Make up : i really spend alot of money sa make up. Dapat good quality. I dont care how much it will cost me.
- Relaxation : i always need this.
- Taxi
- Restaurants : You are what you eat DAW. I go for the best foods out there. QUALITY over QUANTITY. i dont care kung gaano kaonti yung serving as long as it taste good to me.
- Treatment : skin, face, hair
- Electricity : kahit gaano kamahal i need aircon!! Lol

quality ingredients para sa mga lulutuin sa bahay (kunyari un mahal na oyster sauce ang kukunin ko kesa naman sa mas mura nga pero parang lasang toyo lang)...luxury un para sa iba kasi lagi ako nasasabihan na bakit un ang binili eh pede naman un mas murang brand...ayaw na ayaw kong titipirin ang pagkain namin....

there are only a few things that i don't think twice paying for:
1) books - especially those by my favorite authors; books are my instant vacations and i like them new and smelling fresh before i put my own personal stamp on them (underlines, notes, etc)
2) plays/musicals - my husband and i love cultural events. i feel so lucky that i don't have to drag my husband kicking and screaming to shakespeare; in fact, he loves them, too! i also want to be in a good seat so i usually get the mid to high priced tickets. i tried watching one show and bought a cheaper ticket and the location was not very good - i regretted it a lot because it affected my enjoyment of the show.

aside from those 2, everything else goes through the 3-day test as well as the value-for-money test. meaning, if i find a cheaper alternative then i go for the cheaper one :-)

1.) CAR - dahil may baby na kami.. natatakot ako icommute siya. And kahit saan namin gusto ipasyal si baby ok lang, mas comfortable pa siya.
( pero kung ako lang mag-isa mas gusto ko mag LRT, mainipin ako sa traffic)

2.) AIRCON - Everynight kahit malamig, because of our baby din.. hindi siya makatulog ng walang aircon..kaya kahit ginaw na ginaw na kami ni hubby hala aircon pa rin para lang kay baby.. goodluck na lang sa electric bill.

3.) Branded bottles and toys
- sinasabi ng iba ang arte daw, ang mahal ng mga bottles and toys.. pwede naman dW yung ordinary lang.. ang point ko naman is mura nga, pero hindi naman healthy kelangan BPA free para safe kasi sinusubo yun ng baby eh..

For now, all I could think of...

1) car - andyan yung kailangan na mag full tank as much as possible kasi Laguna-Manila (work)-Laguna route ko, toll fees na oa sa mahal, parking fee. i get off from work between 1-2 am so hindi safe na magbalikan. kung magbus man, kelangan ko pang pumunta sa bus terminal sa SM makati para makauwi sa Laguna. hindi safe. before i bought my car, i was renting an apmt with my bro and his best friend

2) lipsticks - di matiis na hindi bumili

3) bags

4) sneakers

5) skin care prods

6) air-con - ang init sa pinas!
