A movie about a lonely writer who falls in love with a computer operating system. The plot sounds very shallow but it is a very deep and even a depressing movie. It is thought-provoking, which makes you question the future of relationships, because it's very likely to happen. (Although I wish to never live in that era.)

Some scenes look really weird and disturbing. It's really pathetic to fall in love with an OS and even try to make love to it.

I think the film wants to tell you what technology can do, how it ruins real-life interactions,  its impact on people's lives. It makes you realize the value of human relationships, and that it is silly and stupid to fall in love with a freaking computer system because it is not a person. It shows how far technology can go, how people are eventually sucked into this labyrinth of the internet. And that it is not very impossible to become a reality in the future, which is a scary thing.

Spike Jonze is commendable for creating such a unique idea that is very timely for today's fast-paced world. Amazing performance by Joaquin Phoenix as Theodore and Scarlett Johansson as Samantha, the OS' voice.

and wow Christian Bale di ko sya talaga nakilala, I never really liked him, but he earned my respect, ganon pala sya pag kuha character, pataba pa-payat. Grabe!
