mabusisi and sometimes you have to go with your gut feelings kahit na ayaw ng boss mo.

i loved the first episode too, sis!  ang galing lang ni jeff daniels dun no?  i wonder why he wasn't nominated sa emmys.  madami din ako natutunan about how the news should be delivered, and that ang OA OA pala ng tv patrol and 24 oras   

my hubby and i were wondering why it's taking so long to premiere the second season.  siguro nag-gather pa sila ng material since the episodes are based on real events.  iniisip nga namin na for sure yung sandy hook massacre and boston bombings isasama nila.  can't wait to see how they'd tackle that.

kinikilig din ako kay will and mac hahaha.  good choice si emily mortimer to play mac.  si lolo charlie din ang kulit pero magaling.  i love his character.

Love this show. I watched the first episode 8 times, in 2 days. 

Newsroom started June of 2012. Hindi pa siya covered for the Emmy's last year (Sept 2012), so they didn't get any nomination. They didn't make the cut-off. If they will be nominated for Emmy's this year (Sept 2013), their chances are gonna be controversial. While it's a good show, a lot of American viewers do not like its politics. It's getting a lot of criticism, but mostly not because the show is badly done, yung politics lang talaga niya.

It takes a year for new season to premiere because that's how it works for them, since they follow a seasonal schedule (hence you have Fall Season premieres, Winter Season premieres, Summer Season premieres). Some shows are scheduled to start in certain seasons, kahit ang shooting is matagal ng tapos, because TV execs think it will be better for their programming (ad rates, anong katapat na shows, sinong audience nanonood sa season na to, baka kasi baseball or football season, talo sila, etc.)

Newsroom shoots durin the Fall/Winter. Then post production finishes up during Spring, so that it meets its Summer Season premiere.

ako din ata. i can't count anymore how many times i've seen the pilot. they had one of the best pilots i've ever seen.

having said that, panonoorin ko pa lang the rest of Season 1. the pains of not having cable.

I love the first few episodes, the rest not so much.  The show is not great but watchable naman for me. Let's see how the next season goes

I just love hearing MacKenzie talk. Nasstress ako kay Will, reminds me of an old boss of mine. Jim and Maggie are cute. And my favorite so far is Charlie Skinner, LOL.

I love Mac, too, sis!  Especially her "speaking truth to stupid" dialogue.  Di ko maalala the whole speech pero yun ang tumatak sa utak ko hehe.  Lapit na premiere of season 2!

count me in. i didn't expect to like this show but i got hooked. i'm rooting for jim and maggie. can't wait for season 2..

I started watching this yesterday. Nakaka 2 episodes palang ako, and, I am loving it. Bet ko din si Will and Mac. At Jim and Maggie

Nakakatuwa kasi madami kang matututunan sa series na to. Ganto din pala kakomplikado ang mga nagbabalita. Ang mga news na tinatackle nila, real life events ba?

exciting nga sis! yung ibang news kasi di ko alam, lol. kya tinatanong ko dito. pero gusto ko yung episode 1 lalo nung inexplain nya na hindi greatest country ang US. astig naman ang accent ni Mac!

The season 1 intro was one of the most boring intros I've ever seen in my life, buti na lang they changed it for season 2.

Looks like Jane Fonda will be having more scenes (hula ko lang naman), which is great! She's the owner, so major ang role nya dapat lang. I kinda feel sorry for Reese at times. He's just looking out for the business end of the network. I can imagine how hard it is to go with all the risks Will and his team are making. Kanya-kanyang roles lang.

MacKenzie is so good at her job. I know it's just a show, but if ever I was faced with even half  the problems she has to deal with every day...I can't imagine, disaster talaga haha. Pero nakakagulat na pinayagan si Jim umalis ng office. His replacement seems competent though. Mukha lang hindi pa nag-gel with the other members of the team. Give it time.

Sloan is looking great as always. I like her the way she is, pwede bang wag muna ilagay sa isang relationship, which seems to make the women in this show act all crazy and hyper. Di ko rin kasi gusto si Don, peace to Don's fans.

Will and MacKenzie -- Bibigay din itong dalawang ito! Pwedeng sa final season pa, but I'm betting on it!

Jim and Maggie -- I think malabo, LOL. But they're sweet, who knows.

^ i think may chance na si Maggie and Jim ngayon Don broke up with Maggie na dahil sa youtube video. Jusko, nakakahiya yung youtube video na makita ng live-in partner mo. Parang gusto kong lamunin nalang ako ng lupa. Pero, in all fairness to Don naman, he's trying to be a good bf, yun nga lang, ang video mo Maggie! caught in the act.

Gusto ko ng malaman kung anong ngyari kay Maggie bakit she cut her hair. Most of the episodes di ko magets ang news. hindi ako updated kasi talaga sa news sa US. medyo relate lang yung kay Bin Laden, pero i love watching this show.
