All About Pimples & Acne - Thread 6

Di nagwowork Epiduo dun sa gigantic headless cystic acne ko sa nose. Nagpainject na ko sa derma and nagsubside lang ng onti, pero nandon pa rin! May laman pa rin.

Hi sis, naku forever dilemma ko din yang cystic acne. I have two options for them.

1. MURDER THEM (not suggested, pero it works for me)  - I murder my pimples on my own kasi wala talagang gamot na gumagana sa kanila. And they never go to a head kahit gano katagal mong intayin. So I prick em with a pimple pricker. Mahirap talaga to, swertehan if nasakto tusok sa nana. Pag nachempuhan, massqueze out mo na yung pus sa loob at dudugo. Tas after nun,  magsusugat na siya tas gagaling na. Pero minsan nakaka-ilan sugat pa kasi mahirap hanapin talaga. 

2. ICE THEM - As in I dab ice cubes directly sa pimple.. I have three cystic sa cheeks na tabi tabi yung tubo. Masakit pero walang head. So what I did was Ice them. Ayun, nagflatten out pero HINDI NAWALA. Pag malayo hindi halata pero pag kinapa mo, ayun parang may nakatago parin sa loob. Its been a month, at medyo darker siya pero di naman mukhang pimp.

I really dunno what to do anymore Pag murder, I have to deal with sugats for SUCH A LONG TIME! Mga 2 months na paulit ulit ko binubutas mukha ko. Pero thankful na hindi naman ako nagmamark or naglulubak sa face kahit todo tusok ko Matagal lang talaga pagalingin.

When I ice them, okay na rin minsan pero parang andun lang siya tinatago mo forever sa mukha mo.

Parang na-tempt tuloy ako sis i-prick nalang sya. Kaso like what you said nga, soooooobrang tagal bago mawala. Sakin nagsscar pa ng matagal eh. Kaso di ko na talaga alam gagawin :/

Did you use it alone sis? Sa akin kasi I also took Tetralysal for 14 days (once a day) and use anti-acne soap and clarifying liquid from my dermatologist.

Hi everyone, did anyone of you ever experience adult onset of acne? I have a clear and flawless skin since my teenage years. I'm already 31 years old now and I am so depressed right now ever since nagstart mag grow mga pimples over my face just last month. Mga cystic pa. I don't think naman na may Polycystic ovaries ako na pwedeng mag cause ng hormonal imbalance since regular naman periods ko. Ginawa ko na mga ginagawa ko dati kapag nagkaka-pimple ako occasionally but those don't work anymore. Parang ayaw ko na tuloy lumabas dahil nakakababa ng self-esteem. Ayoko naman magpunta sa mga derma kasi may mga terrible experiences nako with them. Instead na makaganda sa skin, nakasira pa sila. So now, I don't know what to do anymore. Umiwas nako sa dairy and sweets, etc. pero me mga tumutubo pa rin na cysts.

Went through the same last year. I was 27 going 28 years old back then. Derma lang talaga nakatulong sa akin sis. She gave me antibiotics and topical meds including epiduo acne gel. Effective talaga epiduo sa akin and ang antibiotics naka ilang sets ata ako.

Then she advised me to avoid vitamin b-complex, salty foods, foods rich in iodine and if mag swimming sa pool, rinse ang face with fresh water thoroughly. Actually, hindi talaga ako naligo sa pool while hindi pa healed pimples ko. I also changed my shampoo to organic and brush my teeth before washing my face para ma rinse din ang flouride around the mouth. During that time, fruits, veegtables and fish lang talaga kinakain ko.

If I may ask, ano bang mga terrible experiences mo with dermas?

Naku sis, tanging derma lang ang makakatulong sayo. Maaari ka nilang resetahan ng gamot tulad ng Acnetrex, Accutane atbp.
Pinagbawalan din akong uminom ng Vit.B kasi yun pala yung dahilan bakit bigla akong nagkapimple noon. Pinag diet din ako.

mga sis san nakakabili ng sunblock in gel form OTC na effective as soon as you apply it?
nagttret na kasi ko eh so I need a sunblock while at home.

for the scars you may want to apply calamansi in the morning and before sleeping.

^^Heliocare sis may gel sunblock sila.  spf50 pag advance then spf90 Ultra. di ko pa na try yung ultra.. okay na ako sa spf50  :)OT

BTW sis effective ba ang clindamycin toner sa inyo para lumiit ang pores?.. planning to buy sana pero di ako msyado mapimples minsan lang paisa-isa na lang ngayon. gamit ko kasi sa muka baby bath lactacyd yung blue at kojic soap from derma.

Share ko na din I'm now using Sebamed ClearFace cleansing bar, super love. I don't feel the need anymore to apply toner after washing. Now I'm doing my best to be consistent sa tret, and napansin ko kagabi, kusang kumalambot na white heads ko.

^clindamycin  is antibacterial so hindi guaranteed liliit pores natin jan.

^ I second the motion about calamansi, lagi akong may cystic acne aa chin. 3x a day niyo iapply calamansi then kinabukasan lang maliit and dry na.

^swerte mo naman effective sayo yung Calamansi. Nasubukan ko na yan pero walang nangyare. Hindi ata talaga effective ang natural remedy sa face ko.
Ang effective sakin para mapaliit yung pimple ay Benzamycin gel.

Super dami kong pimple marks lately Dati nakakaya ko pang hindi mag concealer but now masyado ng masagwa and ang dami na nagcocomment masyado so I had to.

Nakaka-depress na girls. I dont know what to do anymore

Naka depress lang kasi I had this huge cystic acne on my cheek and sobrang halata siya since maputi ako. I tried to conceal it pero yung redness lang ang natakpan pero halatang halata padin yung malaking bump tapos sa tingin ko sobrang stubborn ng zit na ito

Started getting hormonal breakouts when I hit 30. I have always been diligent with skincare and exercise so I thought it must really be something in the inside I had to do to battle my acne.

Armed with research and my derma friend's recommendation am now on supplements. Any of you tried the ff and had any success?

Naku sis parang mas lumalala nga nung bumalik ako sa derma ko. Effective siya sa cleaning pero later on parang mas lumalala

Akala ko gumaling na yung sa noo ko tas now parang bumalik na ulit huhuhu

last week my aunt gave me a sample of himalaya neem/turmeric soap free facial wash, I use it and leave for atleast 3 mins before rinse,,no pimples emerge,fr now zero zits na face ko,minimal,darkspots naman problem ko now...so my aunt suggest to use himalaya neem/turmeric facial scrub naman to use 2-3x a week to exfoliate skin ,hope it works too...
