I wanted a nautical theme or vintage circus theme but I know my son won't like it. we're planning a jake and the neverland pirates for this 3rd birtjday since he loves this show so much!

very dainty and chic! pasta, cupcakes, tea for mommies and iced tea for little girls probably, cake pops and ruffled cake can be a nice addition too

use polka dots or floral placemats or trayliners make a banner with shabby chic papers use fresh flowers and birdcages for decors and pretty picture frames

subscribing mga sis I need ideas from anyone who had shabby chic owls and butterflies theme especially sa backdrop. I know these 2 elements sound weird pero it has a meaning on the awareness for a children disorder that we are trying to incorporate sa theme for my daughter's 1st birthday. Nahihirapan akong i-conceptualize yung both elements together, any ideas and suggestions would be very much appreciated

I can elaborate about the theme meaning if anyone is interested to know hehe...for now I need ideas how to incorporate these 2 plus what complimentary elements ang pwede to match them. Thanks

for my nephew, it was gravity falls (disney mystery cartoons). instead of clowns and magicians, we had booths (ping pong throwing booth, bean bag toss, I spy, monster making booths, bedazzled booth *instead of a face painter they just bedazzled their faces with rhinestones, make your own foam animals/butterflies booth, and monster soup booth *they fish for prizes inside a bowl filled with cold oatmeal). = )

sis iriscidiscent, if I may, suggest ako ng booth to get a more personal connection sa guests, like a butterfly making booth (craft station), then sa wings ng butterfly meron mga information about the children's disorder you want to create awareness about, they get to keep the butterfly and the info to read.. i don't know if that's helpful but your party theme and goal sounds great!

Di ba pwede pa rin nautical theme sa Jake and the Neverland Pirates? Btw, may nakita ako sa FB, my little party shop manila. Meron silang loot bags na treasure chest yung design, and toy telescopes. P200/set.

Hi sis Maymay, thanks for the idea regarding the booth. Actually, I need to explain a bit what the disorder is about and I want to create awareness and solicit prayers, kaso ang haba ata nun to have it in the wings hehe. Anyway we are thinking of showing a short AVP during the program about the disorder and then I will explain a bit afterwards. Then maybe sa lootbags, I would have a small print out card about it with links and references like FB page of the baby we need to pray for and the disorder as a whole.

Ang problema ko talaga now is the decorations like backdrop kasi mahirap i-conceptualize yung owl and butterfly together tapos hindi naman pwedeng yung dalawa lang so we need to think of a design plus other elements to compliment the 2 main ones. Naisip ko lang ay garden and put owls in trees while the butterflies fly around in the flowers.

Or, since pareho silang may wings, sky and clouds yung theme and decors, and you can use inspirational quotes about flying?

Naisip ko ang "The Three Little Pigs" for my baby boy's 2nd birthday since yun ang favorite story niya.  Any suggestions for DIY aside from Pinterest.  Parang konti lang ang choices ko at hindi ako artistic. LOL

My theme for my daughter's first birthday party is Sanrio circus. I didnt focus on Hello Kitty alone so I could play with different colors not just with the color Pink. All Sanrio characters will be included. Since it is a circus party i have booked some entertainers that will really look like in a circus like the STILT WALKERS, unicyclist, jugglers, acrobat dancers, magician, mime..Most of the food carts i got are the food carts you can see in a citcus like the corndog, popcorn, sorbetero, cotton candy, NY fries and starbucks.  So exicited for my only ptincess' party..

nag school party yung bunso ko kahapon. sa snack time lang nila ginawa kaya wala ng games. pero nag ready ako ng loot bags na may school supplies as giveaways. tsaka cupcakes din.

San kaya pwede magbuy ng mga sowflakes? For a frozen theme... Like ko sana ng parang activity na "let's build a snowman. Ano kaya magamdang gawin? And anong klase?

^^ pwede magprepare ka na ng snowman-shaped paper mache. Then idecorate nalang ng kids with paint. You can also have different strips of fabric (for scarf kunwari or hats or kahit anong accessories ng snowman)

for my youngest daughter's 7th birthday naman, gusto nya raw hi-5 theme sa school tapos lalaloopsy sa bahay. plan to get host from jive para magkakantahan lang sila ng mga jive songs. fave kasi ng daughters ko sabayan hi-5 songs. easy theme [textspeak!] anything colorful pwede. probably diy most of it pero kuha ko ng photographer aside from host. thinking of getting decorator too for some balloons and props para less hassle at makapag focus lang kami sa food preparation. or mas magandang bili na lang ng packed meals tapos decors nalang focus ko?  ano ba jan mas tipid at less stressful?
