hi sis don't believe other post...maternity benefit is different from loan and sick benefit..that is why when you avail the sick benefit nakuha mu ng buo...same goes with maternity benefit kahit may outstanding loan ka..buo mu pa din makukuha ang maternity benefit..

Tama may problem nga website nila kaya useless din. I filed my MAT 1 last june pa pero the last time I checked sa sss website no notification pa daw ako. Nakaka-inis kasi hindi updated ang laki pa naman ng binayad ko since nag-voluntary ako yung maximum binayaran ko.

Question ko mga sis, my EDD is Jan.5 2015 then binayaran ko April-May-June yung maximum. Then ngayon i'm going to pay naman for July-Aug-Sept, ok lang kaya na mas mababa contribution na bayaran ko or maapektuhan nun yung amount ng benefit na pwede makuha ko? Hindi ko kasi maintindihan how will it be computed tapos nung nag-ask din ako sa SSS wala din naman sagot na matino

I need to check pa naman if I can avail the SSS Sickness benefit .

2 weeks bedrest due to Preterm Labor (35 weeks) and unfortunately our company wont allow me to use my Sick Leave credits kasi pregnancy related daw and Pregnancy is not a sickness. They putted me on Leave of Absence without pay.

Haiist.. Need pa naman ng money . Any advise ? TIA !

^sis super thank you dito, sobrang helpful! Ngayon alam ko na, dapat pala manganak ako on due date talaga which is January para ma-maximize ko sss benefit ko if medyo mapaaga pala let's say December ang laki ng difference ng makukuha ko half na lang since April2014 lang nag-start ulit payment ko.

I am now living in Canada pero tuloy pa rin ang hulog ko sa SSS, maximum bracket. Sana makakuha pa rin ako ng maternity benefit hehe. Pero nakapag-notify na ako, aayusin ko na lang yung claims ko pag-uwi ko sa Pinas next year.

Hi! Any take on this? I gave birth last sep 5 and my company decided to use up all my vl and sl, dapat  Ubos daw leave mo para bayaran ka ng sss ng buo? This October lang daw nila I ta take in effect yung maternity leave ko.  Need clarification please please

^ nope. Sa pagkakaalam ko, walang paki ang sss sa vl and sl mo. Maternity benefit naman babayaran nila e, iba naman yun sa vl & sl.

You may, however, at your discretion, use up your vl and sl para mas mapahaba leave mo. So instead of 2mos lang na leave, for example, you may extend pa.

Mejo na sstress ako sa sss, although malapit lang naman samin, ang hirap naman kung pabalik balik tapos may ipapadala na requirement daw at kinabukasan na dala ko, hindi naman kinukuha or tignan man lang. Sana natapos ko buong process within the day, pero ok na rin naman ako ngayon, tapos na ko sa mat1, mat2 na lang after daw manganak hehe

^Convertible to cash ba yung unused leave credits nyo? If so, i think yun yung reason bakit ganun sabi sa'yo ng company mo. Para wala ka ng makuha sa kanila. Hehe. Ako nakuha ko na yun 70% ko from our company without using any sl or vl. Just waiting for my 30% kulang pa kasi ako ng requirements for mat2 reimbursement.

Hello sisses. I'm 4 months pregnant ka. Lagi kong nakakalimutan mag pass ng mat1 at ultrasound ko sa HR namin. Nakakabwisit kasi yung HR manager namin. Tinatanong ko 3 weeks ago kung ano kailngan requirements, ang sabi ba naman sakin, can you look it up online? Sa inis ko, di na ako bumalik.

Ask ko lang, ano ano ba requirements? yung ultrasound lang ba at yung mat 1 na form? tsaka kahit 4 months  na tummy ko, pwede pa kaya nila ma parocess yun?

^ yes sis, MAT1 form lang tsaka ultrasound ang need mo ipasa sa HR nyo. And yes, kahit 4 months na yun tummy mo, pwede pa yun MAT1, basta ang importante before ka manganak, na-notify na ang SSS

Does your filed maternity leave need to be on or close to when you actually give birth?

I have 20 days of VL to use up and I wanted to use that first before applying my maternity leave. I am due end of November and if I use up my VLs first before maternity leave I come back to work March na. But my boss told me that my maternity leave needs to be when I actually give birth (ie. cannot be applied a month later). I plotted my leaves and if I use my maternity first before my VLs I end up coming back mid-Feb. Reason is maternity leave counts calendar days irregardless of holidays whereas my VLs are only applicable to working days.

Any thoughts? Sayang rin the 2 weeks I could spend with my baby

^ sis, I don't know of discretion lang ng company but for my previous company, pwede na mag mat leave 2 weeks before the due date. If you want to use your VL, it's up to your boss na if he/she will allow you.

Last September I submitted my claims for maternity reimbursement, at the same time applied for ID replacement bearing my married name.  This afternoon I received a mail from sss, was excited thinking it was my check. Sabi ko pa, wow ang bilis naman 1 mo processing lang?! Haha pero yun UMiD ko lang pala. Improving na ha, yun sa husband ko took almost a year bago na-deliver.

Hi khriseeee ! Sa company din namin , maternity leave starts on the day you gave birth . If i have 20 VLs like you , i'll have it plotted before your EDD . since pwede mapaanak 2 weeks before or after ng EDD . So you'll have time to prepare your baby's stuff and your hospital bag na din.  unfortunately , in my case - LOA w/o pay. Aww
