Secured CC pinakamalaking CL ay RCBC 100% ng TD
Pero walang kwenta walang promo haha.
BPI pinakamadami umay ka lang sa Jollibee 80% ng TD naman
Metrobank 90% ng TD. McDo lang din promo nila with charge slips
sa rewards lahat naman pangit. appliances madalas haha. GC naman sobrang taas ng point reqts parang di makatarungan

try mo na lang magpalakad sa agents. dun ako nakakuha ng regular CCs habang walang full time work. good luck

I got surprised that I received a call from bpi that I was pre-qualified for their credit card.  I called a friend who used to work with bpi cards if it was legit since scary ang scams.  Legit naman daw because they have that program from time to time. 

Then I received a [textspeak!] msg from bpi that I got approved and my card will arrive in 5days.

Sis, when I inquired from my friend who used to work with bpi he mentioned the ff requirements when they have that program.

1.  Good credit history
2.  Parang 24mos deposit account with bpi

Wala syang na-mention na exact maintaining balance ng deposit account.

In our case, around 6 figures pa lang ang joint account namin ni hubby plus an investment with bpi.

During the program, the list daw is generated by their computer and given to the local branches to convince their depositors to get a CC.  But sometimes di daw nagagawa ng local branches kaya it is passed to the call center who calls the bank client.

strict ba ang hsbc credit card? due date nya 3 but i forgot, 5 ko sya binayaran, may penalty na ba?

^ Agree. There is penalty, HSBC is a bit strict including Metrobank. BPI is more forgiving I think.

yes sis add ko din citibank sa forgiving bank pero alam ko within 3 days from due date dapat

ayami: sis, yung agents na sinasabi mo, are they the ones na nasa malls minsan na nag-aalok if you want to apply for a CC? i'm planning to get yung secured card from RCBC e, yung dating card ko from them e under delinquency. i'm wondering if i can still get a regular card if i get a secured card and have a good standing for a year? pahingi naman ng advise from the agents na kakilala mo if that's possible. thank you!

i just want to ask kasi medyo naguguluhan pako first time CC user. i was issued  a CC by rcbc  and its goldcard mastercard. my question is ano ba ang advantage having a goldcard over mga classics and platinum kc i read their website parang halos pare pareho lang, and ano din ang difference if mastercard, visa and jcb?

Hi abbeydasassy! Did you apply for your rcbc cc? nagapply ako sa bank mismo pero almost 3 weeks na wala pa ring status. Gano katagal bago ka naapprove? Thanks

I suggest you just keep your card kasi from my experience, I got my RCBC cc nung 2012. naging delinquent account ko mga november 2012 pero I fully paid naman lahat ng balance ko, hindi lang nila ako inapproved to reactivate my card.Then nagulat nalang ako 1 year after (nov 2013)my sulat ang RCBC sakin na active na ulit card ko. Buti nalang hindi ko pa dinispose yung hehe..

Gurls..how did you manage your account when you reaches your maximum cc limit?

^BPI is strict with your CL. once you reach you limit, hindi mo na pwede gamitin and wait until the next cut-off.

Metrobank naman, pwede mo gamitin but may penalty ka na P500.

Ang labo lang ng Metrobank kasi kaya nga tinawag na credit limit dahil may limit dapat. Hehe.

^its a eastwest cc. I tried to request to convert it to installment but no puwede daw coz months old pa nga lang daw.

hmm, i still have my card somewhere at home. pero yun nga, since it's under the collections agency na, i didn't bother paying the agents. pwede pa ba ako kumausap someone from rcbc to settle the account? para lang ma-clear siya. 2011 naman yung card ko. nag-delinquent same year din, parang same story as yours ata?

^Buti tinigilan ka ng agents sa paniningil?ako kasi nun halos everyday tumatawag ang collections..anyway you can call nalang siguro ang costumer service nila if paano mo isesetle yung account. I guess agents don't have to do about your old account, but ang alam ko 100% approval ang secured card nila.
