^welcome sis! if i only knew her a bit earlier... sana i checked her out din. i actually inquired kaya lang nakapag dp na ko sa pinas... bigla syang nag appear sa fb ko after ko magbakasayon sa pinas. sayang!

i think i replied before pa sa dilemma mo kaya lang di ko na post dumating kasi supervisor ko haha... mas affordable pa din magpatahi sa pinas but if wiling ka naman mag add up sa budget mo sa gown, less stress kung sa dubai ka magpapatahi. for me, i ended up mag made to order in Divi.

^^ Sis jakh compare the quality and price range of the gowns sa dubai and sa pinas so you can make a sound decision. Also consider mo din time ng pag uwi mo. If you can go home a year before the wedding for the initial measurements, why not. Majority of overseas brides have their gowns done back home and they're all good.

Galing akong philippine consulate, nakakaloka yung notarial services, hanggang 3:30pm lang. grabe sarap talanag ng buhay nila!

Dubai based bride here also mga sis for Dec 2016 wedding namin. Sino dito nakapag pre-cana sa St. Mary's? How early kayo nag pa book? hehe!

jakh and ANJFinally - mga sissy, Joint Affidavit, para kung sino man sa pinas pwede utusan mag apply ng marriage license. kasi as per marriage section sa PCG, proof daw yun ng personal apperance since OFW nga tayo, di naten ma

So ayun nasaraduhan nga kame, but nag ask kame sa information sabi dapat daw Joint SPA. pero yung cousin ko kinasal lang nitong April, Joint Affidavit ang inapply nila. Baka will apply both nalang para sure! haha.

Sis Anj, sa St. Mary's kame nag pre cana, 1st week of the Month kayo magpaparegister, 3rd week of the month yung seminar. Dala kayo photocopy ng baptismal certificate. On the day makukuha nyo na certificate, if you need freedom to marry cert, after ng seminar, may form susubmit mo ulit sa parish office, makukuha mo din kaagad.    hope it helps!

^^Naku mukang sa july pa talaga kami makakapag precana since yung baptismal na dapat namin kunin is yung ay nakalagay bang "for marriage purposes?"

Re joint affidavit sis, lesser ba ang time nyo kaya ipapaasikaso nyo na sa relative nyo sa Pinas? Kapag marriage license di ba dapat both couple aattend ng seminar pa yun sa cityhall? hehe! Lapit na din kami mag start mag ayos ng papers, sana di kami mawindang.

Nga pala sis, natuloy ba plan mong prenup here? hehe!

Hi sis jakh! Okay yang early planning, you can choose a supplier and syempre makukuha mo ang 2016 rates. Some suppliers can give early booker discounts. I remember we started to plan last year around March for our Dec 2016 wedding. lol na excite ako sobra simula nagpa book kami ng church. Hahahahaha!!! Ayun, nagtuloy tuloy ang book. But our wedding will be very simple and intimate lang. Budget couple kami sis! Hahahaha! Sa June na ulet kami mag start at mag seryoso sa preps. =)

yup sis dapat may nakalagay na for marriage purpose

kulang ang time namen sis. 24 days before the wedding ang dating namen. at ayaw namen mabitin yung marriage license.

regarding seminar, pwede nyo na gamitin yung pre cana seminar sa pagkuha ng marriage license. yun ang alam ko ayun din kasi ginagawa ng mga kakilala kong kinasal. Yung seminar sa city hall, para yun sa mga mag civil wedding lang.

Yup sis nakapag prenup kame!!! nakakatuwa ang gaganda ng shots
di ko pa lang na upload kasi eh. ang bibigat nung file, hehe.

Baka gusto nyong mag prenup, magaling yung photographer namen though newbie palang sya. at extra nya lang to, super mura lang sya, tapos mabait pa super.



I highly recommend mag shoot kayo kahit 1-2 hrs lang sa Burj Park. Its super worth it!

^Hi sis! I booked them last year pa kasi, but roughly 40K with albums na or SDE photo and video services na. I am not sure if nag increase na sila, but if you're on a budget like ours, Serg is very open on a customized one, kung ano lang muna ang need ng client. Hi mga sis overseas bride here too For work reason din makakauwi kami on May 10 pero June 1 ang wedding namin.
Kaya kaya irelease yung marriage license before wedding day namin? Kasi yun lang talaga mahuhuli na maipapasa namin as church requirement. Kinakabahan lang kami baka hindi ma release at hindi pumayag Palazzo Verde (our venue) na ituloy kasal namin if hindi makaabot etong marriage license.
Hirap kasi need pa ng personal appearance Then 24 years old ako next year si Fiance naman 25 years old I heard meron pa kami aattendan na seminar na Family Planning for our age and need kasama parents pag nagapply kami? Hirap naman overseas din both mother namin and we are sure hindi sila uuwi ng maaga tulad ng paguwi namin.

^ I believe your age has a big factor thus kailangan ng parents. Below 25 years old, need ng parental advice. 

It might be better to ask your parents to go home earlier as well. If kung yun ang requirements nyo.  Better call their office na lang kung saan kayo kukuha ng marriage license to inquire regarding the processing time. That way you can check the earliest time your parents can go home.

^shyxiena hi sis! overseas din kame ni h2b. kakatapos lang namin mag apply for marriage license last July 25. 11 working days processing nun bago nila irelease. we were scheduled din ng Family planning on the same day (25th) for a half day seminar the ff wednesday din if im not mistaken, July 28 kasi every Wednesday daw etong seminar na to sa munisipyo namin. Mahigpit sila na kahit sinabi na namin na we had marriage prep course na in Dubai and it included family planning, they didn't allow us to pass this. Also, I don't know if sobrang higpit lang ng munisipyo namin but they are requiring isa samin ni fiance ang magcollect ng license. Even if we told them na we both cannot go back home again for collection, ayaw nila pumayag na si mother in law with authorization letter ang kukuha. Good thing, we've thought of a back up plan, may friend si fiance who could help us.

I suggest you think about this requirements ahead of time. Good thing, our schedule permitted us to spend one week leave sa pinas exactly 3 months before our wedding, so buong week kame talaga naging busy sa preps. Sorry for the long post! Hope this helps

Hi sis Missus O and sis Nikkipedia! Yes bago kami umuwi we will assure na complete requirements and complete documents na  kami sa pagapply ng marriage license.
sis dapat ba talaga kasama ang parents for our age? Mother lang kasi meron kami..and si fiance 25 years old na siya ako lang ang 24 years old. Or baka pwede naman kahit lola nalang?

Importante lang talaga sa amin marelease to bago  wedding day. Kasi magaapply kami for sure on May 11 2017 kaya naman before June 1 (wedding day) if after 11 working days lang talaga releasing. What time kayo pumunta sis sa pagapply? Kasama nyo din ba parents nyo sa pagapply? And last question gano katagal seminar?

Hi sis...yes sis 11 working days Lang yun. Di lang nila pwede Irelease less than that. Actually di ko pa napapakuha... I just remembered now na wala kame Iniwan sa friend namin na may kuneksyon to claim it haha...but ok Lang din Kasi sabi sa  munisipyo na pwedeng a week before the wedding Lang din namin I collect pag dating namin for the wedding on October, yun  last plan namin. For company naman, no idea sis since pareho kame ni fiancé na 29y.o. But to answer your question, kasama namin si mil nung nag apply kame Pero yun kasabay namin couple Lang sila. We went there in the morning mga before 9am to apply. Nun wed. Naman for seminar 8am-12pm but I think it varies depende sa munisipyo Nyo. So better to send someone para mag inquire

@shyxiena - sis yung friend  ko na based overseas din, nearly kasabay kong magpakasal sa church last June, they already had a civil wedding 2 years before. And even civil wedding lang sila, need pa din nila lahat ng requirements for marriage license.  The guy is 25 and he needed his parents to appear.  The requirement is for those aged 25 years and below. It might be best to call the municipal hall where you'll get your marriage license kasi parang iba iba per city.  Also sis, may thread dito  Marriage license and other wedding documents,  if you try to backread, mas madaming helpful infos dun.
