^ when i used to go to bohol, medyo budget trip lang with friends so we either stay at isis bungalows or lost horizon which i think is not ok for honeymoon

amorita looks good nga, i just need feedback kasi i am pretty familiar with panglao naman but bago lang ata this resort.

bohol bee farm is a favorite. super nice owners and the food is superb. if you want quiet time, this is the place to be but the pool and beach isn't inviting talaga.

I am also considering Bellevue for our other accommodation. Bohol Bee Farm is nice daw but not for honeymoon or overnight stay? We can actually just visit BBF for lunch. So now my choices will be Amorita for 2 nights then transfer to Bellevue for another 2 nights. Thank you for showing us the photos!

^^If you want an intimate accommodation set-up for your honeymoon, I'll choose Amorita over Bellevue. It's a smaller resort located at Alona Beach. Although they don't have their own beachfront since it is located on a cliff, they have an eternity pool facing the beach and a private access to the beach where you have lounge chairs set up (yun nga lang you share the beach with the rest of the other resorts along Alona).  Plus you have a lot of dining options since you are in Alona. Lastly Amorita has rooms with private plunge pools either facing the garden or the sea. This actually clinched the deal for me.

With Bellevue naman, it's newer and it's a big resort. They have their own beachfront but not as expansive as Alona's or BBC's. If you've been to Mactan Shangri-La, Bellevue is the smaller version (way smaller). With Bellevue your dining options are limited since there are no other resorts/restaurants na malapit sa kanila. So far sila pa lang ang resort in that area. Sa rooms naman nila, all their rooms are okay and all are facing the sea. They have a suite with its own jacuzzi in the balcony but hello ang presyo! 

But of course depende pa rin sa inyo yan kung ano yung hinahanap nyo or gusto nyo in your accommodation   

Dagdag ko pala, if you want fine dining to cap your honeymoon try to dine at Tarsier Botanika. Lovely place! Very romantic specially at night. It's owned by a former CX flight attendant and her hubby who've settled in Bohol. First class all the way

Thank you so much, mama squeak! I'll take note of that! We'll get the Lovers Getaway package in Amorita. For January pa naman ito since December pa wedding namin. I am searching for hotels na as early as now para maabangan ko baka magkaroon ng promos. Hehe. I was able to book plane tickets already two days ago sa PAL and got two roundtrip tickets at only 2,947!

Kay Kuya Tatsky din kami nung nagbohol kami then yung wife nya ang nag-aarange sa accommodation sa WAG. In fairness sobrang laki ng room na binigay samen. Pwde pa tumambling sa loob. Gano kalayo ang Alona sa Dumaluan? Balak kasi namin bumalik sa Bohol pero sa Alona area naman kami para maexperience din yung mini Boracay daw nila.

Hi mga sis. Jan 5-8 naman kami sa bohol. Cebu ang bagsak muna namin and unfortunately mukang 9:30 am
ang makukuha namin ferry (ocean jet) sabi sakin ng tour guide na si jojo (affiliated din ata sya ke tatsky)
e me 8am special trip daw ang ocean jet. so mga 10 am kami sa tagbilaran port worst case yan 9:30
makuha. Ask ko naman mas ok ba ke tatsky nako magpabook ng ferry ticket? same price din ba? me
libre balik kasi ang ocean jet at 800..

Then ito naman Itinerary namin

Day1: Alona Beach nalang and lunch somewhere pero na curious ako dyan sa Dauic church and cafe luis.
Pwede kaya kami magpa baba saglit there if pick up nila kami from port since 2pm pa naman check in time?
magkano ang price ng food nila?
          Then whole afternoon iniisip ko mag Bee Farm instead na isingit pa ang beefarm sa country
side tour namin on Day 2 para din we have time na mag enjoy on some spots since 1st time namin
lahat sa bohol.

DAY 2: Country side Tour (3000 singil samin ni Jojo driver ni Tatsky) kasi daw susunduin nila kami
sa alona beach.. 2.6k kasi van na ito kapag from tagbilaran sana as yun usual na day 1 ginagawa ang tour.

DAY 3: half day sea tour kasama na island hoping and snorkelling.
    - we have 2 kids na 3 and 4 yrs old. i dont want to snorkel mag babantay nalang ako sa 2 kids
      maybe si hubby and sister kasi my officemates naman on other boat kasi 13 kami lahat
      kasama na kids hindi daw pwede na more than 8 ang capacity ng boat per coast guard rule
      1400 singil samin ni tatsky per boat. and me 150 pa daw per head for the tour guide

    - the other afternoon beach nalang.. ito nga napapaisip ako lipat ng resort yun maganda ganda
      kaso mahal naman ahaha

DAY 4: cebu na kami maaga palang.. ano pwede puntahan namin sa cebu? 7pm pa flight namin
           yun mga ka officemates ko 10pm pa sila naubusan kasi kami sa promo ng PAL express hehe
           kaya 7pm na kami...

Next question: ano ano kayang resto na mura sa alona beach. sa panglao regency park resort
kami magchecheck in.. for 4d/3n pero pinagiisipan ko yun last night sa bohol
if pwede lipat sa bellevue or other resorts na medyo ok para lang relax to the max..

tapos magkano yun mga food sa cafe lawis?

meron din bang sari sari store or grocery sa me alona beach?

we have a cebu bohol trip ni hubby with our one year old toddler on july 13-16. we will spend july 13 sa cebu and july 14-16.

from the port, ano maganda itinerary namin. first time namin pareho (pang 3rd na namin bumili ng ticket pero di namin nagagamit kay gusto na namin matuloy this time )

anniv namin as a couple sa 14th kaya i want a good dinner sana, ok ba to spend our first night in  sa BBF then lipat na lang sa iba pag nagtour kami ng 15-16? 10 am flight namin ng 16th. or walk in tour na lang sa BBF? thanks

luxeshop, sis mag dumaluan beach resort na kami. halos ganun din yun babayaran namin
unting dagdag lang. tanong ko lang..

1) kapag ba mag lunch kami sa beefarm from dumaluan, me mga tricycle ba dun or public tranpo
na pwede namin sakyan? 10 adults kami e. magkano kaya kasi mahal naman sa beefarm
if papasundo nasa 600 ata yun.. wala bang mas mura? Tapos
how much naman transpo sa alona? can we rather walk?

for dinner and lunch nearby ano ok at mura? or sa alona nalang?

yun land tour kasi sabi sakin they prefer to start at 8-9am kasi until 5pm
lang yun mga tourist spots at close na. im getting tatsky.
so if sa 15th pa yun country side tour nyo how can you check out and check in from BBF to
next hotel? kasi if you will check out that very early on 15th to next hotel possible naman
though mahirap kasi early check in kayo, if room is available and then diretso na kayo
at 8 or 9 am tour. kasama na before tour ang breakfast.

either you stay 2 nights na with bee farm or stay somewhere else
where meron pool and beach front. BBF is not beach front nasa cliff ata sila.
kasama naman sa tour ang beefarm e so at the end of the tour you can have dinner na there.
30 mins lang daw yun bee farm tour nila ang last tour ay 4;40-5:00pm

^yun nga eh actually, 6 am ng 13 ang dating namin sa cebu, kaya naman daw ng one day tour. if maaga kami aalis ng 14 for bohol, i might get a hotel without breakfast na lang siguro kasi if 6-6:30 am ang papuntang bohol para makapag tour agad kami ng 8 am. im in touch with ate kathy and kuya tatsky, nasa beach lang daw sila ngayon. pero in fairness, mabilis sumagot si ate kathy. from the port, if on the way ang Dauis Church, daan na siguro kami and have breakfast. then tour na..

ano ba tour aside from countryside tour na pwede namin gawin with a toddler? di naman alagain ang daughter namin, i can babywear her for long walks para di na kami mag stroller.

and what is the best place to stay na may nice pool sana and a beachfront? im reading WAg, alona kew, and others. mid range lang siguro kasi all day naman kami nasa tours pero masarap pa rin na matulog sa good environment and if may lakas pa kami mag swim or walk along beachfront

Kami kasi sis.. Nagdecide na mga kasama ko to go sa Dumalaun Beach Resort. Ang quote samin for
a room na superior room is 2150. yun standard room nila na walang TV is 1800.
with buffet breakfast na daw yun.kaya ok na kami dun. then 400 lang extra person with matress and breakfast
na daw yun..

seems beach front ang resort and per advice dito the beach there is must better and well maintained
compare sa alona beach. i guess mas kauti din boat nakapark dun ano..

eto yun ginawa namin Itinerary sis:

Jan 5: Arrive in Cebu at 6:15 am so baka next sched na masakyan namin to tagbilaran is
9:00-9:30 am na arrive in tagbilaran around past 11 am via ocean get. sabi ni cathy 560
daw pamasahe sa ocean jet open air 2 way na sa kanya na kami papabili.

Transfer to Dumalaun Beach fron Tagbilaran Port is 600 c/ cathy also van na ito kasi
10 pax kami and 3 toddlers.

stay lang sa beach and resort to relax.

Jan 6: 8-9am susunduin na kami for land tour. Hindi kasama ang dauis sa land tour e.
pwede syang separate panglao tour if you want nasa 2200 ata sabi sakin pag van 2k ata if car.
pero yun land tour namin eto. since we have kids kasi we consider yun hindi mabilasan sa tours
kasi me dede time pa mga bata and others.. hanggang 5pm daw kasi mga tourist spots sabi nila.
kaya mas ok yun ganyan kaaga na start ng tour pag magtatanghali na kasi
baka gahulin sa oras kasi yun cruise sa loboc daw is 1 hr tapos pag nataon na kakaalis ng
cruise daw mag aantay ka pa sa pagbalik nya which 2 hrs na yun. plus going to chocolate hills daw
is 2 hrs along the way nadadaanan na yun ibang tourist spots.

Jan 7: 6am sea tour na. sabi ang dolphins daw lumalabas ng 7am to 8am
so mas ok yun 6am paalis na kayo. naku pano kaya breakfast ng mga bata nito ahaha dede nalang.

- island hopping

lunch nalang kami somewhere mahal daw ang lunch sa balicasag island e.
pero me nagmention dito na 1000 ata lunch ilang tao na din.

then sa hapon enjoy na beach and resort uli.

Jan 8: umaga after bfast to cebu na kami. mamamasyal sa cebu sa hapon and 5pm airport na
7pm back na to manila.

@mistiqshannen, sis medyo malayo ang bee farm sa dumaluan.. saka mas remote ang area as compared to alona.. ang mga public transpo dun bihira usually trike or single motorcycle so mgbackride ka.. what we did kasi nung andun kme is we rent motorcycle para maexplore nmin yung panglao area.. but when we did yung countryside tour thats the time we rent a car with a driver kasi mashado malayo and maulan na.. since 10pax kayo better to rent na lang or avail nyo na un 600 (that is kung 10 pax na kayo dun? and hatid sundo na dapat)..

wala mashado kainan sa dumaluan..  meron dun yung buffet ata sa bohol beach club katabi lang ng dumaluan.. P350 per head ata i can't remember na.. meron dun sa beach mismo na parang canteen and bbq pede na rin  yung price.

May entrance fee pala sa dumaluan beach na P50 per head sa adult (not sure sa kids).. tapos may parking fee din..

@sis mistiqshannen dun pala kayo magcheck in so inclusive na yun (that's what I remember dun sa signboard nila).. kami kasi daytrip lang kasi malapit bandang alona yung check in namin na place

dun sa entrance or before pumasok papuntang alona beach may mga terminal/parking dun sis ng mga motorcycles.. dami mag-aalok sa inyo.. not sure how much.. yung sa amin kasi inclusive na yung motorcycle sa accommodation kasi hindi siya talaga sa alona beach .. mga 15minutes away kami pero okay lang kasi another adventure yung pagmotorcycle.. isa yun sa highlight ng bohol trip namin kasi naexplore namin yung panglao area.

nagpahatid dun at nasaktuhan namin waaaa.. pero mas mahal daw ang pagkain sa alona

so malamang sa dumaluan nalang kami for the entire stay aside sa mga tour.
gusto ko din sana masilip ang alona at yun mga establishments dun if anong meron
para bora lang ba ahaha..
