Hizon's Bride here! In general, I can say that Hizon's is a good choice. They've been in the business for quite some time so they already have a system in place.

We chose Hizon's for their food and freebies. With the rate we paid for, we got more from Hizon's as compared to K by Cunanan or Josiah's.

For the host, I definitely recommend Myra Lorenzo. She was our host and she knows what she is doing. She has been a host for years now and has even worked as an English trainer for a call center. So in terms of handling an event, she knows what's best and in terms of voice projection / pronunciation etc, she is also very good.

For the AE, unfortunately, we didn't like ours. The AE assigned to us was Justine. She was unprepared, not organized at all. My husband who is a very patient person, even got irritated with her! That's says a lot! He wanted to have her replaced.

Fortunately for us, our OTD coordinator is also an accredited supplier of Hizon's. They know almost everyone there. Our coordinator called Drew Menor to help us out. Since he doesn't handle individual accounts anymore, he helped us out as a favor to my coordinator nalang. Lucky us!!

HI Sis,  naku mejo na-sad ako kasi si Justine ang event planner namin. Hindi pa nga sya nagsesend ng peg eh til now pero May 2014 pa naman wedding namin pero dapat mga BER months eh sumagot na sya kasi si h2b din pasensyoso yun pero malamang mainis yun sa kanya kung ganyan sya..hmmm.. I-follow up ko nga sya..Kasi sabi nya saken after Holy week magsesend na sya ng peg til now wala pa din..Happy pa naman me sa Hizons kasi super bait ng AE ko na si Ms. Girlie.

Sa food wala ako prob sa event planner ata ako magkakaprob ah..

Hizon's bride din ako. May bad feedback din ako sa AE ko. Hindi ko na-avail yung hotel ko na free kasi fullybooked na so I settled sa hotel na hindi ko choice. Tapos yung driver ng bridal car ko na-late pa sa day ng wedding ko kasi mali yung mobile number ko na binigay ng Hizon's. Pero the food is superb.

No problem ako sa AE ko na si Ms. Girlie, ang worry ko yung event planner na Justin kasi parang wala pang peg na sinend, hindi pa nagreply sa email ko, at nasabi ng isang sis here na di ok..Naku kukulitin ko yun..Kasi kasama din sa package namin ang invitation, baka hindi ko magustuhan ang print or di ok kalabasan kaya gusto ko makita..Naku thanks sis sa reminder sa hotel dapat pala as early as now ibook na sya para no hassle na..Sayang din kasi yun eh...

Sabihan niyo na ang AE niyo as early as possible about the hotel. Basta kulitin niyo hanggat hindi pa nabobook ang hotel. Iba na ang segurista. Sayang yung hotel ko hindi ko nagamit kasi yung nabooked sa akin malayo sa church.

We had our final detailing with Lady Ann last weekend. Supposedly wala na, pero since nagresign ang AE namin na si Wendy, we really wanted to meet Lady Ann and para marunthrough din ang contract namin with Hizon's. For me mas ok sya kesa kay Wendy kasi mas at ease kaming makipag usap sa kanya and nagsusuggest din siya ng mga pwede pang iimprove sa mga una na namin napag usapan with Wendy. yung mga centerpiece na dapat sa -ber weddings pa gagamitin, pwede daw naming gamitin kasi mas pasok sa theme namin. nakakatuwa lang. sana lahat ng napag usapan namin maexecute nang maayos sa May 17.

Pati hotel kukunin namin yun for preps, depende ata sa location mo kasi yung piliin mong hotel. Yung cake baka kunin namin na yun kasi para hindi na problemahin sa delivery.. Yung car naman as of now yun na kukunin pero pag may extra budget baka kumuha kami ng vintage car..

Hi sis!!! Im thinking of getting hizons din sana.. Oasis package din kc sakin.. Pero di ko pa na try food tasting nla.. Dec. 21 pa naman ang event ko.. Do you think ok talaga sila in terms of food and yung setup nila? Yung freebies ba nila ok? I mean madame ka na puede iavail? Thank you!!

kasi nung nag FT ako sa hizon's sa oasis di talaga ako nasiyahan.. hehe.. di kasi masyadong accommodating yung AE doon... pero nung nagpunta kami sa Grand FT nila sa esplanade, mas madaming inoffer na freebies samin kesa dun sa nakausap namin na hizon's AE sa oasis.. right at that moment nagpapalit na kami ng AE, yung nasa espalanade na yung nag handle sa amin.. so sa hizon's na kami nag book... pwede naman yun sa GFT ka magpabook kahit Oasis package ka.. sasabihin mo lang sa Hizon's na Oasis package yung inavail niyo...

ang naFT-han lang namin yung kusina ni kambal saka richgold.. pero mas ok for us yung hizon's kaya sila na ang kinuha namin...

Thanks sis, tanungin ko na lang AE namin regarding hotel for preps. Kukunin ko na rin yung cake para less hassle and sure na darating sa venue on time So it's between bridal car na lang & hotel for preps, 2014 pa naman

Sis Kukai28, try mo pumunta sa Grand FT nila madalas naman meron and I suggest na ask mo ang oasis kung sinong AE ng Hizon's ang usual na humahawak sa client kapag package ang venue & caterer.

From my experience din kasi yung 1st AE ng Hizon's na nakausap ko is yung nakausap ko sa bridal fair and hindi siya super familiar sa package nila with our venue (light of love). Or baka alam niya pero kasi sa light of love may 2 AE's sila na from Hizon's na kapag package with them ang kukunin either dun sa dalawang AE's yung ibibigay nila sayo as your AE.  Dinaan ako sa sales talk nung 1st AE ng Hizon's na kesyo kung yung package with venue kukunin ko is limited yung food choices and kung ano lang nakalagay sa inclusions yun na at walang freebies as compared kung hiwalay ko daw sila kukunin with the venue. Mas maraming daw food choices (pasta & desserts) and mas maraming freebies. Buti na lang hindi ako na sales talk agad kasi 80k din ang difference kung hiwalay ko sila kukunin. 

Anyhow, buti na lang at may GT and one of our sisteret here gave her AE's contact number sa akin kasi same venue kami and from there nalaman ko na may freebies din naman pala kahit package with venue. May mga wala pero kung icocompute ko hindi naman aabot ng 80k yun.

So happy, nag confirm na kame this morning with Hizon's & paid the reservation fee. Sa sobrang nasarapan kame sa FT, nag confirm na kame ng menu namen right then & there. The detailing meeting eill happen 4 months prior the wedding, dito na papasok yung color specifications namen, table setup (they bring mga tela & do a mock setup of the cloth in front of you), layout of invitation (meron sa package namen), etc! Can"t wait!

The emcee I got is Ms. Myra Lorenzo (dito ko din siya nakuha from GT).
