It's our 13th wedding anniversary tomorrow and last night my hubby gave me Perry Ellis 18 and Tommy Hilfiger Dreaming as presents! For Valentine's day he gave me Marc Jacobs Daisy. Last Christmas it was Lancome Miracle and Estee Lauder Pleasures. He knows JUST what to give me.

New faves:
The people of Labyrinth Luctor et Emergo - soft almond and cherry. Almost smells like play dough sans the plastic note.
Ava luxe Milk Extrait - smells like nestle condensed milk sweet and creamy.

stacies83221 naku sis laking problem ko ngayon yan. i even can't stand cologne on my husband lol.. pag magpapaalam siya every morning papunta sa work, siyempre magkikiss.. hindi talaga ako humihinga kasi nasusuka ako and ako ang pumili ng mga pabango niya :p lol..

sa arpege, i find the same approach sa lahat halos ng classic vintage perfume, they smell really chaotic when you apply it pero it settles down really well tapos the drydown lasts. i think it's because during that time (1920's-around 40's) ladies spend time on their boudoir so when it's time to finally go out, nagsettle na yung perfume. i think it works because it's dramatic, not everything is out all at once, and there are facets yet  to be discovered very different from modern approach ng ilang mga perfume na mabango agad tapos wala na :p just enough flair to get you to buy it at the counter then it's over :p

sa kingdom sis, that's the cumin talking sweaty BO note meron din niyan ang arabie

try SL A La Nuit sis, grabe natutuwa ako sa florals ng SL. They smell real pero walang air freshener na amoy im pregnant and i have no problem with it but you have to like jasmine muna siyempre :p will get it after this whole pregnancy thing is over

Sis rouged, dont worry, mawawala rin yung aversion mo soon after your pregnancy. just a funny story lang, similar to yours. My friend is also pregnant. Sa sitch naman nya eh she always asks her hubby to take a bath kahit kakaligo lang nya because of his "perfume" when in fact he isn't wearing one. hehe nakakatuwa lang.
Re:kingdom, yeah it must be the cumin. I tried it again yesterday... I still cant compose a well put impression out of it... The notes, yeah nandun sila, but i am missing something. I read your review on it sa fragrantica and you nailed it... It is indeed Lestat. It spells dark, impending or already is death and there is something so sad and depressing about this perfume that sucks the life out of you. I still struggle sa opening nya but i do get the heart now. im glad i got the chance to smell it because it is really worth it. Thank you again for sharing this beautiful perfume.

Re: popular perfumes, mga sisses, would you mind if your signature perfume becomes so popular that you can smell it almost on every woman? I wore last time escentric 02 that smells quite similar to acqua di gioia but the two are not the same  if you really dissect every note. Then one of my friends told me, "Ang bango naman. You smell like my other friend too.. I guess you wear the same perfume, acqua di gioia, right?" I just smiled. Bigla akong napaisip tuloy. I dont want to smell like everybody else. Maybe it is just me...

^in one word... nitso! lol.. but the opening smells like rotten meat and yes, it smells sad and depressing indeed it evokes the same feeling as SL de profundis, but that one is quite tame and smells more like and introverted person than a suicidal one :p but it has a lovely chrysanthemum note that smells like church altars

they said what's special about escentric molecules is the pheromone content.. meron ba talaga?? and does it work?? saka pano yun, pati ba yung mga animals, like dogs na mas strong ang sense of smell, narerecognize din ba nila yung amoy mo and naaaffect din ba sila nun? parang naiisip ko kasi ang hirap naman pag nilapitan ka ng asong lumalandi dahil sa pabango mo.. hehe :p naisip ko lang

Im eyeing on "cool-watery" scents like I just got straight out of the shower. Nothing too girly/flowery. I like D&G Light Blue, for reference.

^Sis note na yung d&g light is not considered aquatic... fruity floral perfume sya. Para syang fresh dahil sa lime and cedar notes nya. if you want hardcore aquatics, it borders to homme fragrances na. ive read little about acca kappa white moss, kita ko mga notes nya. May musk, citrus, lavender and woodsy notes... tignan natin. Im excited to try this out. nalimutan ko pala yungbvlgari omnia crystalline, ralph lauren blue and frederic malle en passant.. Sorry im working by memory here.

Those type of scents. Armani's Acqua di Gio(for MEN). Strong fresh scents. I dont appreciate Acqua di Gioia though. I feel weird about it. 

I get na what you mean sis. You´re not into the floral fresh. If you don´t like Acqua di gioia, try the Acqua Di Gioia Eau Fraiche version. You might find it more aquatic. OK, I´ll narrow down the list and add some:
