Hello mga sis. Due ko na next week. Sa Makati Med  (MMC) ako. My OB is Dra Miravalles. She quoted me NSD 57k and 82k for CS both for semi-private with no complications.. This is my first baby and hopefully normal delivery ako. Will try to go back and post my final bill kapag nanganak nako. July 13 yung due ko so few more days to count. hehe.

EDD ko is October 19, sa Medical Center Muntinlupa sana ako manganganak pero grabe rates nila, I heard kasi may friend si hubby na nurse dun na nananaga daw talaga sa hospital na yun so baka lumipat na ko. Sa Alabang Medical Center sana. Any feedbacks? May nakapanganak na ba sa inyo dun? Thanks much!

My OB is Dra. Michelle Guadiz-Borbe, affiliated with CGH, according to her package as follows-

NSD- 20k to 23k (no complications)
CS - times 2 ng NSD( no complications)

Hopefully no complications delivery ko.may HMO ako though 20k to 25k lang ang cover, my philhealth at sss din naman plus some buffer. anyone nanganak recently sa CGH, how's the service?

I gave birth at Makati Med last May 19. Availed the OB package (Php57K for NSD, Semi Private room) but actual bill went up to Php80K, tumaas kasi BP ko, stayed 3 more hrs sa recovery room and was given meds to control my BP. Normal delivery ako, was admitted around 4pm ng Sat, gave birth at around 1210am on Sun, May 19 and was discharged the ff day, May 20.

Sulit sa  Makati Med, very satisfied with the doctors (esp my OB, dra Cleo Medina) and their services.

gave birth sa bethany hospital sa sn fdo la union. lol. bumiyahe ako talaga from manila to la union kasi nagka pneumonia ang panganay ko, kaya ayon inabutan ako ng panganganak sa la union.

ob's pf - 18.8k - 2k philhealth = 16.8k
hosp bill - 9k - 3k philhealth = 6k
mommy's total bill = 23k

so kala ko mura na... hiwalay pa pala bill ni baby...

pedia's pf - 4.5k
hosp bill - 8k
baby's total bill = 12.5k

all in all almost 36k bill namin pareho... buti na lang sagot ni MIL

i saw a post at smart parenting with maternity packages of different hospitals, ask ko lang, yung amount na binigay ba nila, all in na ba yon (lahat na ng medical items na gagamitin nila sayo upon labor and delivery wala ka ng babayaran? and paano mo ma-avail un? pupunta ka sa hospital pag nag labor ka na then sabihin mo na you'd like to avail the package?

2nd baby ko na kasi and when I gave birth to my first one last year walang package na inoffer yung hospital kung san ako nanganak but now accdg to the smart parenting article may package yung preferred hospital ko (delgado) can anyone share how this so-called packages works?

^ It depends sa hospital. Usually no complications na package yan. Meaning no infections  sa baby, hindi ka maghighblood, hindi ma-NICU.

^ You need to tell your OB that you know about the package and that you plan to avail it. Kasi sa ibang hospitals, hindi lahat ng doctor ay applicable sa package.

After that, when you get admitted, the person who accompanies you should inform the hospital upon admission that you are going for a package. But they will tell you na kapag nagka-complications, may adjustments sa budget.

I would advise you to save 20-30k more than the package. Better prepared. Kung hindi magamit eh di mapapakinabangan nyo sa binyag. Nang hindi kayo masu-surpresa sa bayaran.

I'm going to give birth sa San Juan De Dios hospital in  Pasay.
My firstborn doon din pero sa private at nadala ako sa laki ng bills na binayaran kaya lumipat ako sa charity. 90k at naubos lahat ng ipon namin. Sabagay premature kasi 7mos si ate.

Ok naman sa charity OPU nila. Need to be patient lang dahil
naghihintay kami ng number to be served. Very accomodating naman ang mga staffs and interns na nag aassist. Cool din mga doctors, mostly mga bata pa sila at ang babait naman. Malinis na malinis ang facilities. Upon interview ng social welfare unit and submitting barangay certificate of indigency,
pinagpe-prepare kami ni hubby ng 15-20k for normal delivery and 20-25k naman kapag CS, kasa check up is 100php lang. Compare naman sa 90k diba?

East ave is 30 if ward and 50 if private NSD and a little more if CS
Delgado is 50 to 80 depending on room is NSD and 100 if CS

So anyone gave birth sa East Ave and hiw was the experience? TIA

grabe mahal pala sa east ave to think na public sya. sis parang mas mura sa delgado kasi may package sila na nsd tas ward 15-20k lang
