Anyone familiar kay Dra. Aurora Abad-Ramos of Delgado Hospital? She's my OB kasi and i'm 14 weeks pregnant. Feedback on her rates and if ok ba siya? Thanks.

hi mga sis. i got to talk to my friend who gave birth last feb sa delgado. elective CS sya and her bill was 68k. ward muna daw sila (6 in 1), then transferred to private room on day 2. total hospital bill was around 25k lang and the rest was PF na. High-risk doctor daw kasi yung OB nya kaya more than half of what they paid went to the dr's PF. when she gave birth two years ago, mga 1k lang daw ang increase sa hospital bill nila.

hmmm.. my ob qouted me differently.  sa asian hospital ako nag-papa-check-up but sa LPDH nya ako papa-anakin para mas makatipid since i still don't have philhealth and sss benefits

and Medical Center Manila - UN?

Who is your OB-Gyne?
How much is your total bills all in all?
Did you received an Epidural?

I need your help guys, I'm 22weeks preggo and my EDC would be on first week of August.
My husband and I is planning to change my Ob-gyne since her PF / Consultation is really pricey. We're on a tight budget din kase.

^Hi Sis, my mother's OB is in MCM sa UN and I asked her to ask her OB how much package for CS dun. I'm pregnant too but syempre, naiisipan minsan magtipid kahit konti. I'll be giving birth kasi sa MMC. Her OB quoted, 80,000 package for CS semi-private and 100,000 for private. Enticing talaga, kung ako lang, ok nadin ako dun. Pero my hubby kasi wants sa MMC nadin katulad kay panganay. 130,00 for semi-private and 160,000 for private. I'll opt na lang for semi since solo mo naman [textspeak!] room, shared nga lang [textspeak!] comfort room.

That's great news sis hindi sila nagtaas pala. Gave birth 2 years ago sa CGH 24k binayaran namin no Philhealth semi-private. Kaya lang I would suggest you get a private room. Mahirap may kasama as with our experience, ang ingay ng visitors ng room mate namin. Tapos nasa tabi nya yung aircon if she gets cold pinapatay nya aircon kami naman init na init. You can't even converse with your husband privately lalo na if the other patient is sleeping. Pag lights off, lights off sa buong room. If their baby cries and yours is asleep, magigising din kayo. Just add a few thousands pa for you to rest completely and enjoy your first days with baby. I am due this May 2013 and we are considering a private room. Kahit walang TV ok lang. Just my two cents.

by the way, who's your OB pala if I may ask?

interested din akong malaman sino yung OB ni sis... mine is Dra. Patricia Tan. Sis yung ganyang package before or after philhealth deduction? di ba P8K ng mababawas pag me philhealth. Then em reimbursable pa ako na P10K sa company ko. Just wishing na NSD without any complication ang delivery ko. di ko pa kasi natatanong sa package si Dra. tapos pala sis ilang days ka nag-stay?

I was about to change my OB from MCM kase her PF / consultation was really pricey.
She asked me to prepare around 40-50k for NSD and 70-80k for CS and her consultation every visit is 500 pesos.. We're on tight budget so we're planning to transfer. My EDC would be on 1st week of August.
Any recommendations? around Manila sana Thanks!

^not to discourage you sis pero yung quote ni ob mo according to my inquiries before i give birth is tge average na. i gave birth via cs at pgh pay section, private room, and my bill was almost 80k..wala pa dyan charges ni baby sa nicu due to monitoring. i asked other hospitals and ganun din price range. sabi ni ob mas  mababa  pf nya if hindi private ang room so yan siguro ang option mo to save though hindi siguro bababa yan sa 40k if nsd. kung sampaloc ka sis maybe you can inquire sa st. jude? baka may ob sila na mababa ang pf. yan kasi ang majority sa bill. hth!

onga sis eh, sa mga nabasa ko sa mga posts ng other mommies out there above average talaga yung total bill nila pero sa mga known hospitals naman din kase majority, pero kase may mga nabasa din ako na sobra din naman baba around 20-30k yung inabot nila via NSD. Hopeful din na baka meron pang mas mababa sis.  ahaha! Syempre being practical naden , but still, I want to labor in a hospital na nagrrender ng good quality care for all patients and at the same time maayos and kumpleto sa gamit So far may list naman na kame ng hospital, wer just comparing yung price differences nila. hehe.. just to ready our expenses. hihih..

^ Delgado ako. Balak ko din sana CGH kaso medyo malayo na sa amin tapos haba pa lagi ng pila. Mura din kasi checkup dun, 200 pa minsan.

pa help naman mga sissies. i'm loooking for an ob sa delgado or sa cgh. this is my first baby and it is unplanned. wala pa talaga akong idea sa ob's and prices ng consultation and delivery. sana may marecommend kayo na mabait and friendly kausap

^ sis yung OB ko si Dra. Mitch Dado, friendly yan. Pero expected na gastos sa Delgado eh 40-70k. Normal pa yan.

Kung may budget ka, look for a Chinese Gen OB. Mura dyan.

Go sis! I love her, she's not intimidating at all. She explains everything really well. She has clinics on Tuesday 1-3pm (by appointment)  or Saturday 9am-12NN which you can walk in naman.

Ah you may want to ask the breakdown of the quote she gave you.

Yes, my OB's PF was a huge chunk of the bill we paid, almost half! But what I said also included my baby's fees (bursery, pedia, etc) and we got a bigprivate room. Most was covered by my HMO though, our total cash out was only 25K.

My hubby did not stay with me the entire time in the LR, but he was able to come visit me once in awhile when my OB would give him an update. He was allowed in the DR, he helped prop me up whenever I pushed and saw our baby as soon as she came out (before I did pa I think). We had our first family photo then he followed her to the nursery for picture taking Take note though the hospital will charge for his scrubsuit and mask.

Just so you know, the LR at Cardinal are actually separate rooms (unlike ward-like in some other hospitals) then there's even a separate hallway and down for husbands to enter directly into the LR.

try mo sa cgh sis. you can choose form Dra Patricia Tan - M-S 2-7pm or Zamora or Sanggalang. Mga medicard accredited sila so kung covered ng medicard nyo ang pre natal consultations tipid na rin. P200 lang consultation fee. pero gawin mo na lang palista ka at least a day before the schedule mo para di ka nasa dulo ng pila.

Hello Mommies   June 27, 2013 ang expected delivery ko now for my first baby. And so far, next week pa lang ako magpapa ultrasound to know the gender. Suggest naman kayo ng cheapest ultrasound rates and cheapest maternity packages rates. im near Bacoor, Cavite. Yun husband ko naman taga Paranaque. sa kahit saan near our place. Sa South Super Highway Paranaque ako regular na nagpapacheckup under the OB, Dra. Erlinda Rabe? Meron ba sa inyo nakakakilala sa knya? I have no idea pa kasi magkano ang PF nya e. Plan sana namin kung makakahanap ng mas murang mapapaganakan, dun na lang din ako lilipat ng OB. Thank you! Your reply will be a BIG HELP

Hi sis! Pareto tayong from Manila area. And same EDD din tayo. I would recommend my OB, Dra. Suplido. May clinic siya sa UP-PGH, at sa PMP diagnostics and Mirasol Bldg. right across PGH. Consultation fee niya is 400. Affiliated siya sa PGH, Madocs, and MCM.

Her quoted price are:
PGH - 35k for NSD; 45k for CS
MDH and MCM - 70k for NSD and 90k for CS

All-in na yan with PhilHealth coverage

Kami din kasi ni hubby, on a tight budget kaya sa PGH ko gusto. Sayang naman kasi yung difference. Pambili pa ng gamit ni baby ko. Kaso si hubby, di kumportable sa PGH. Mas gusto niya sa Madocs.
