Hi, Ladies! Has anyone tried or have info if The Buffet in Commonwealth is okay? I like the interiors and the location but I'm worried that the food and service is so-so. TIA!

Ni-let go ko na ang thought ng outdoor wedding in Tagaytay or in Antipolo. BF totally sold this new venue to me a siniraan nya na all our other options. Naniwala naman ako! Haha. If you are from the north/QC area, I suggest Hanging Gardens Events Venue from the same owners of The Glass Garden. Sobrang tapat lang siya ng isang Catholic Church kelangan mo lang tumawid ng kalsada to get to the ceremony and reception area.

I initially wanted to have our ceremony and reception here however, we can't find a hotel (within our preference) nearby. And gusto rin ni hubby na sa christian church kami ikasal so ni let go ko na lang sya when we found a church. Aside from that hindi accredited ang chosen caterer ko which is kbyc and we have to pay 30k for caterers na hndi accredited. Konti pa lang kasi ang accredited caterers nila dahil bago pa.so I think yun ang sign na I need to look somewhere else. We booked glass garden instead.

Christian wedding din kami sis. We're holding the ceremony sa Concorde, yung adjacent venue ng reception hall namin. Mukha na kasing elementary school yung church namin since during weekdays elementary school sya kaya we totally scrapped the idea na dun sa home church namin magpakasal. Yes, true. Tatlo pa lang ang accredited caterers nila. Four na sana kaso may kulang pa raw na requirement si Posh Catering kaya inalis muna nila. Sabi naman ni H2B, they are fairly new and soon enough pag mag-decide na kami sa caterer, meron na silang idadagdag. Sabi naman ng Marketing Officer nila, in the works na ang meeting for additional caterers this week. So, we're hoping na meron pang mga madagdag to give us more option.

Hi sis! Ininquire ko nga din yung ceremony hall nila. Sabi sakin 100pax daw capacity. Nagworry din ako kasi 200 pax kami.. baka masyado na congested. Blessing na rin na nakakita kami ng Christian church kaya naghanap nalang ako ibang reception venue. Pero first choice ko talaga is hanging gardens. Nagbigay pako ng ultimatum at nagrequest pati coordinator ko kay kbyc na paaccredit na. Apparently hindi nangyare kaya ayun.. let it go....let it go...

Hehe. Next month ka na kasi sis e. Siguro pag sa amin, may madadagdag na. Hopefully!

By the way, san ang nahanap nyong church?

Saka how soon ba dapat ang meet-up sa caterer? Hehe

Hi sis.. sorry medyo confusing ang date ko.. actually sa June 2 pa kami. (2-6-15)  Church na nahanap namin ay yung sa UP diliman, Church of the Risen Lord. Nainlove nako dito kahit sa picture pa lang. although simple sya pero it's just the way we wanted it to be. (walang aircon though) hahahha pero ok narin.. babawiin nalang namin ang aircon sa glass garden. and i will provide bottled water, cookies & fans sa mga guests so they won't feel hot if ever.

Oh yeah! Ala-Shamcey Supsup. Natandaan ko na. Sis, may question ako about COTRL sa Christian weddings thread. Na-realize ko if we get the church instead na yung ceremony venue ng Hanging Gardens makakatipid na ako ng 10k or more. I can add it na sa ibang expenses.

By the way, for other brides to be looking for possible venues, Marie, the AE gave me P5000 discount sa Hanging Gardens. I don't know if binibigay nya ba talaga yun palagi or sa amin lang kasi we asked for it. Yung kasabay kasi namin we overheard na wala sya binigay nung nag-run through ng contract. Hehe. I don't know.

HAHAHA! I totally feel you sis. Kaya nga when we got to the fair last Saturday, sinet ko na sa utak ko na no more looking for venues. Kasi pagaawayan na naman namin ang pagiging fickle ko e. Kaya nga nung dumaan kami sa mga nagsusumigaw na Tagaytay venues, ang nasa isip ko, "Look straight. Look ahead. Look straight." HAHA! Para hindi na ako maakit pa.

Hindi ka pa ba nagbayad ng 20k reservation sis para ma-sway ka pa ng ibang venues? Ako kasi medyo nahuhurt sa 20k na parang itatapon lang.

Actually bigla ko na-compare yung THG sa ibang venue, sa labas kasi bare lang sya pero sa loob ang ganda talaga. eh but with other venues maganda na sa labas pwede na agad magpicture, maganda din sa loob! Hay nako talaga!! next week wedding fair nanaman! saan nanaman kaya nito magve-venue? -_-;

anybody here tried Jardin de Miramar? the place looks so big and nice!!
