thanks mga sis, sa adina serviced apartment kent street na lang kami nagbook. na-try namin yong adina melbourne kahapon & ok naman malaki yong room & maganda rin location.

^ kent street is kinda far pa from CQ sis ha. as far as i can remember, Kent st. ends somewhere at wynyard pa and from wynyard to CQ is about a 20 minute stride/ 25 minute walk. I know cos we used to live at Kent. St.

^nagcheck na kami ng mga hotel around CQ doble na price sis since peak season dahil easter. ok pa rin naman location ng adina konting lakad lang darling harbour, chinatown & paddy's market. nilakad namin kanina CQ, around 25 minutes medyo malayo pero enjoy din naman view sa george street. mahal din pala cotton on dito, mas ok sa canberra outlet. bumili na lang ako pasalubong sa paddy's. kalokah pila sa LV hehe dami nilang pera

^ LV at George is my favourite! pero yeah, Kent st is near Paddys and Darling Harbour. Cotton On is expensive. My favourite is Factorie. they're affordable. I can get sling bags for $5 pag sale.

When I went to Sydney and Melbourne, I thought cotton on will be cheaper than here in SG coz basically, cotton-on originated from AU. 

Turned out, the same shirts and tops which are 2 for S$30 here in SG (PHP 1050) are 2 for A$30 in AU (PHP 1,237).  At the same time, here in SG we have cotton-on clearance where we get discounts even on new arrivals. 

So i guess, unless I see how cheap the clearance in cotton AU is, that's the time I buy.

^Sis, marami rin S$5 and S$2 blouses sa cotton on anchorpoint mall here in SG.   But yeah, i still want to see clearance shop in AU.  Maybe some styles are cheaper there.

Just got back from our Oz escapade, sarap ng weather, malamig! When we were in GC, konti and sandaling ambon lang halos everyday. Pagpunta namin Sydney, sunny yet cold, last stop sa Melbourne, may ulan first day morning but sunny and cold na for the rest of our days dun. Wanna go back soon, super bitin kami! LOL

sis rocky, wow swerte! they went to Taronga Zoo today I saw on the news. St. Andrew Cathedral? Is that near Town Hall? Or are you talking about St. Mary's sa may Hyde Park?

Mahal nga Cotton On in Aus but they always have a sale. siguro mga iilang weeks lang ang nakita ko na d sila nakasale. Actually, yung sale prices nila, mura na yun for them. namamahalan lang tayo kasi we tend to convert. I only buy when there's sale and I never buy more than $10. so ayun, i can get pants naman, winter wraps/ scarfs, hoodies, tops ranging from $5-$10. mas marami pa mura sa DFO, it's an outlet store. pero cheapest by far is in Geelong, down in Victoria. That's the birthplace of Cotton On talaga and my bf's hometown. dun, you can get flats for 2 for $5.

sa queanbeyan ako nag-stay, sa haus ni hubby. malapit sya sa canberra. parliament house, mint & war memorial lang napasyalan ko since may work pa si hubby kaya sinisingit lang namin. mahirap kasi mag-ikot kung walang car, kaya lagi kong kasama si hubby. mura mga damit sa canberra outlet like puma, factorie & cotton on.

pinuntahan din namin dad ni hubby sa bairnsdale. 6 hours drive from queanbeyan. kalokah ang weather maaraw tapos biglang ulan, araw, ulan, hehe di ko mabilang kung ilang beses umulan. nadaanan namin lake entrance & bumili kami ng fresh prawn don, tinikman ko rin yong bugs & masarap din para syang crab. paynesville & 90 miles beach maganda din.

overnight lang kami sa melbourne dahil sinamahan namin dad nya sa hospital. sa adina flinder street kami nag-stay, malaki yong room & may kitchen pa. maganda location konting lakad lang crown hotel, federal square, st. paul's cathedral & flinder station. papunta nagdala kami ng car, 3 hours drive then pabalik nag-train kami 3.5 hours byahe.

sa sydney 3 nights kami, since maganda experience namin sa adina melbourne, sa adina kent street na rin nagbook si hubby. mura na yong nakuha naming room dahil tumapat sa easter. lakad lang darling harbour, wax museum, st. andrew's cathedral, paddy's market, chinatown, queen victoria building, sydney tower. medyo malayo yong circular quay pero kaya pa rin namang lakarin. dito kami sumakay papuntang taronga zoo. from wharf tanaw mo yong sydney harbour bridge & opera house. maganda din location ng kent street kasi kabilang street lang george street na. masarap don sa star bar & affordable naman. murrays bus sinakyan namin, 3 hours lang from canberra. mas ok to kesa magdala ng car kasi may bayad parking sa hotel. swerte din na sa adina kami nag-stay, malapit lang st. andrew's cathedral & nakita ko si kate & william.

18 days lang bakasyon ko pero sobrang sulit. malamig sa gabi kaya bumili si hubby ng electric blanket para makatulog ako ng maayos, brick kasi yong wall ng bahay kaya mas malamig kahit nasa loob ka na. sobrang mahal ng mga bilihin lalo na internet, wala masyadong free wifi kahit sa hotel, buti na lang sagot ni hubby lahat. kaya yong dala kong pera pinangbili ko ng pasalubong. hehe!

Meron na ba sa inyo nakapagtry magpadala ng package sa au? Pwede kaya magpadala ng food and native items thru package? During my trip there kase, nagexceed ako sa allowance pauwi ng manila. My bosses offered na ipapapackage na lang nila yun mga excess ko. Found out they added a lot of things pa sa pinadala nila aside sa mga naiwan ko things. So plan ko to send a package din sa kanila na mga philippine products as thank you. I just don't know kung tatanggapin sa customs nila like dried mangoes, native items, chocnut, etc...

^^ sis rocky, glad you liked Star Bar! it's one of my fave too! dati pa nga they have 2 for 1 promo for their Angus steak every Tuesday. diyan din ako tambay pagnanonood ng NBA by lunch time kasi d ba d mahilig sa basketball ang mga australians. their calamari and its side salad is also good. pag gabi naman, sa baba kami naglalaro ng pool ng mga friends namin.

^^yes, masarap yong steak nila sis & pati si hubby nasarapan din sa inorder nyang chicken. maganda din yong ambience kala ko nga maliit lang kasi hindi ganon kaganda yong harap nya, plain black lang pero pagpasok maganda pala may nakainan kami sa chinatown hindi masarap tapos mahal pa yong chef gallery along bathurst street masarap ba don sis? kasi pag gabi grabe haba ng pila

I just don't know kung tatanggapin sa customs nila like dried mangoes, native items, chocnut, etc...

ang alam ko sis mahigpit sila sa mga ganyan, yung auntie ko, dapat magdadala sya ng native stuff like bags at straw hat yata, pasalubong sa inlaws nya, hindi pinayagan. Maybe it applies to air/sea freight packages din. Palagay ko ang dried mangoes ay makakapasok kasi for export naman talaga yun, lalo na yung 7D na brand.

^ thank you sis. I asked my friend from BNE who is an Irish and she said nakakapagpadala daw ng food yung mom nya basta yung commercially packed. And things without batteries on it. May nagpadala daw kase ng toy with battery sa kanila and hindi yata pinayagan. I'll try to ask din yung post office kung ano mga pwede kaya lang shempre AU customs pa din nakakaalam nun. Baka may nakaexperience pa dito to send packages in AU. Tia!

Hello mga sis...para sa first time pupunta sa Oz na pregnant pa, makayanan kaya un winter dun? Worried kasi ako sa winter sa kanila.

winter here is not very harsh... but depends what state you're going to be in pa rin... Brisbane, Hobart, Adelaide, medyo malamig pero kaya naman. I was pregnant during winter last year. I wore boots, skinny jeans, 2 layers na pang itaas, coat and a scarf. I was fine and warm
