I do it only once a week. Bale 3 weeks ko pa lang sya nata-try. Hindi pa masyadong nakikita ang result pero excited na'ko to see the difference.

Recently I experienced UTI ulit, so nag browse ako sa net for home remedy, it says there drink a glass of water with 1 teaspoon of baking soda to neutralize the acidity in the urine (2x a day) tapos maraming water para maflush out yung bacteria, it worked.

My friend uses it on her body like soap. Then sa hair like shampoo (mixed). Nawala daw dandruff niya and I wanna try too. Natural lang kasi homemade haha.
Last week i woke up with a very itchy scalp. I mixed baking soda and vinegar then i applied it sa scalp. Binabad ko muna siya sa scalp bago ako maligo. Then i used shampoo and conditioner. After it, no more itchy scalp.

Thankful for this thread! I'll try using this for my face. kaso I'm currently using ACV (mixed with water and tea tree oil) as toner. Di kaya too harsh na?

may nabasa ako na ginagamit pala talagang pang whiten ng balat ang baking soda? baking soda plus warm water to make a paste tapos spread na sa whole body. meron pa iba na hahaluan pa yata ng tawas.

How I use Baking Soda?

1. Whitens teeth - after brushing, I put enough powder in my hand and make a paste with it by adding water and then brush it like a toothpaste in less than 15 seconds then rinse.

2. Lessen hair oils - When too much shampoo and conditioner makes my hair dull even if I use HHN, I just rest for a day from all these and mix baking soda with water again and use this. Rinse with water after.

3. Dog bath - I also use this on my dog when her fur gets sticky. Helps rid of the smell, too.

4. Whiten underarms and elbows - This, mixed with 5 pcs of calamansi. No fast result but DEFINITELY EFFECTIVE! So be patient! :)

hello mga sis.. i've searched about using baking soda on hair.. i'm suffering from hair loss and dandruff and i'm desperate for effective product to use on my hair. i found this blog where in the writer did use the baking soda and vinegar, but after 3 years, her hair is damaged. at the end of the blog, there's another link from another blogger who showed scientifically why baking soda is not good for the hair. i'm not here to say stop using baking soda. just read it and then decide if it's really worth to try.  ;)

^thank you sis for sharing this. So to sum up the blog: it's damaging to use baking soda on hair because it's like dyeing your hair everyday by exposing it to chemicals/substances with a very high level of pH.
