I got my US visa, 10 years multiple entry.

It was a 2 minute interview and they didnot ask for any documents. Dito ko inapply sa Dubai so I guess there is a big difference kung nasa Pinas. But then again there are people here that got denied, kase you just have to prove to the consul that you have a strong reason to come back. Yung statement ko hindi tiningnan, hindi rin naman ganun kalaki ang sweldo ko. Yun nga lang nakapag travel na ako a lot of times sa europe etc..So depende talaga. And of course honesty is the best policy. At least kung ma deny ka you can say that you have told them the truth and it just so happen na its not meant to be, kesa naman nagsinungaling ka tapos na deny ka rin diba. If its meant to be then God will give it to you.

hello, meron ba sila target on how much money you need to have sa bank?

Sa amin, the consul didn't even bother to look at the ga-bundok na documents na dala ko LOL It was just a brief interview, and he was happy that we, as family, always travel together. He just talked to the kids, kung saan saan na kami nagpunta. He's face is full of enthusiasm and hindi man lang sinilip papers ko.
Kabado nga kami ni hubs noon, pag tapos ng interview, sabi ni hubs "yun na yun?" hahaha Swertehan din siguro sa consul, yung ibang nakita ko daming mga tanong.

mga sis patulong po sa mga nagpunta na ng u.s using tourrist visasa port of entry may mga tatanungin pa ba sila dun? at ilang months ang stamp sa inyyo ng iimmigrant officer? at ilang months kayo nagstay sa u.s? ok lang kaya kuha me ticket na one month lang pero stay mom ko ng 6months? magkakaproblem ba yun sa next visit niya kase hinde namin susundin yung nasa ds160 niya, please patuulong po sa mga makaexperince na maraming salamat sa mga sasagot. My appointment schedule was about 7:30am today April 25, 2013. Everything goes well, screening, finger prints and interview. Ang masasabi ko lang is swertihan lang talaga ang pagkuha ng U.S. Visa for Tourist. Denied again for the third time okay lang at tanggap ko na kase di na ko gaanu nagexpect. come what may na lang Si God na ang bahala. Kung bigyan nya ko Thank you if not okay lang din.
Pero hindi na sya ganun kasakit tulad last year April 19, 2012 na pagkalabas ko ng exit eh naiyak ako at sa sama ng loob.
2008 1st interview kasama parents ko my parents got their multiple visa pero ako DENIED.
2012 2nd interview DENIED
2013 3rd interview  DENIED

in my interview today hindi nila ask kung what is my purpose? kaya its really unfair.  deretcho tanong how long will you stay? sabi ko only 1 month and she ask me again were will you stay? sabi ko in my sister house Citizen na yun kapatid ko matagal na. Tapos ask nya kung nabigyan ako ng visa before? sabi ko No. Tapos she check my name in the computer.  ayun denied na ko. Ang bilis nawala ng 7k ko. Ewan ko ba sa kanila masyado sila maarte nagsasabi naman ng totoo pero ayaw nila bigyan ng visa. Mahigpit talaga sila sa single. Hay! i have all my supporting documents na talaga babalik ako sa Pinas ewan ko ba. Kapag di ka trip ng consul wala.

Basta ang masasabi ko lang swertihan lang talaga.

i think it is not wise to keep on re- applying if nothing changed from your past application.

Yung friend ko, she was denied a couple of years back. She re- applied this year and got a 10 year
multiple. What have changed from your previous application was the question the consul asked her.
Ayun sabi niya, she got a better job etc etc. So if you keep on showing the same stuff tapos different
consuls assessed your application. Maybe you have to show them more proof that you will indeed return to Manila.

Hi sis vain_kixie, you have a point di ko din naisip yun ha. Pero ewan ko ba sabi naman ng iba apply ng apply kase nakikita nila na pursue mo talaga yun na wala ka bad intention. Yun nga lang waste of time and money as well.

Last na toh ayoko ng mag-apply sabi naman ng sister ko pepetition nya na lang daw ako. yun nga lang matagal.

yun isa ko kasabay may invitation wedding sya pero nadenied. 3 x na din at yun isa naman 47 yrs old na sya 3 times nya na din denied.   

Ewan ko ba sa mga kanila tayo na nga yun maginvest sa kanila ayaw pa nila. Hindi ko pa siguro swerte. Kaya ko lang naman gusto pumunta dun kase gusto ko lang mamasyal wala na.

Pag married ka na sis, try mo ulit, another factor for you to return to the Philippines.

Meron din akong isang friend, for renewal lang under the VRP program. She's been to the US countless of times during her
previous 10 year multiple. When she with her entire family renewed her visa, siya lang ang denied. Lahat sila siblings eh over 21
and single. May time kasi na her family went home na to manila tapos siya ng stay pa siya ng 2 months. Baka naghinala yung
consul kung anong ginagawa pa niya doon.

So ako I believe its 50% luck/chance, 50% your profile.

ang Mexican father ng friend ko, may kaso sa Mexico, nag TNT na rin before sa US.

ngayon, si friend nag OJT sa US Embassy dito sa atin. kaya naging friends niya mga consuls.

pinag apply niya ang dad niya ng US Visa dito sa Manila at nabigyan!

ang kwento eh- natapat sa consul na hindi nila kilala(pinoy)pero nagkataon, nasa kabilang booth yung kilala nila (american) tapos konting bulungan, ayon. visa granted!

hahaha oo nga sis yun mga nagtnt ang mga may kasalan kaya kahit nagsasabi ka na ng totoo sa consul they dnt believe it pero bahala na si God sa kanila. Alam mo naman dito sa Pinas palakasan din basta may pera ka.

Kahapon interview ng pamangkin ko he is 24 yrs old. Natatawa nga ako kase ibinili pa ng nanay nya ng pulang brief para swertihin daw. Kase para daw swerte magsuot ng pulang pante or pulang brief kasabihan lang naman hehe  Ayun deneid din. tapos yun kasabay nya pang 5 times na daw denied.

Grabe db kaya kita kita sila sa atin db kahit peso lang ang pera natin ilan tao ang nag-apply bawat araw dito sa Pinas? imagine 7k db. bago natin mapulot ang 7k pinaghihirapan natin mabuti.

kaya nga daw db hindi nila binoto un President na kalaban ni Obama i forgot his name db kase marami sya pauuwiin na mga TNT.  hehe

Sis Pam123, walang interpreter. passport lang na may us visa ang pinapakita. Usual questions ay
how long are you staying here and why. sometimes, may mga IOs na chinecheck ang plane tickets pero
mas laging hindi. May nagtatanong ng how much ang dalang pera.
Pero usually lagi lang yung how long are you staying at reasons why you are visiting their country.

Whoa, akala ko noon safe na pag VRP, di rin pala ano? Muntik ko ng gawin yan noon na magstay ng 1 more month after my family goes home pero hindi natuloy. Buti na lang pala.

@vain_kixie -  Sis, thanks for answering my questions before.  Plan namin by August mag-apply kasi our first year anniv will be in October and yun ang primary reason na sasabihin namin, celebratory trip/delayed honeymoon.  Kaso pano kaya if by August eh wala pang makitang new work si hubby?  Anong ilalagay or sasabihin nya?  Kasi sa totoo lang, ako lang ang earning now.  Pwede kaya yung reverse sa usual na housewife si girl, sabihin naming stay-at-home husband sha?  Small time businesses  lang kasi ang ginagawa nya ngayon so wala shang mapapakita COE and ITR or even business permit.

I have a schedule on May 9, 6:00am (super aga) some people said kasi mas okay mood ng consul pag maaga pa. Anyways, medyo confident naman ako sa profile ko.
I'm married with 1 daughter (3.5 years old),
small business for 3 years but my ITR is 2 years pa lang (mid income lang to),
little saving sa bank (xxx.xxx)
1st time to apply for a us visa
countries I've been to were all asian countries (hk, macau, sg, thailand)

So my question is or more of you girls assessment, Do you think i have good chance? I know some said its swertihan but wala kasi ako makausap regarding this. Actually, yun pinsan ko from LA lang mapilit mag apply ako. D ako ganun ka confident before though mas may pera ako before and syempre gusto ko din makapunta dun LOL.

Will they ask like bakit ako lang and hindi ko kasama family ko?
Why am i still using my maiden name? (personal preference ko ito)
Will they look for land title/s or properties aside from business docs and bank statements (meron ako 1 kaso single ang naka state na status ko since it was from my mom- baka i question pa nila to?!)

I dunno why i can't sleep now thinking about it. Ngayon lang pumasok sa isip ko na its a week from now. Tapos parang hindi ako ganun ka prepared. Months ago kasi my thinking is if makakakuha, makakakuha ako. If hindi its not for me siguro, plain as that. Talked to my cousin a while ago and said do my best and prepare myself, sayang naman daw binayad ko.

May ma advice ba kayo sakin? Nag back read ako and other girls experience during the interview were very basic (i mean yun questions given by the consul) Baka kasi may na miss ako... any tip or suggestions please. Thanks in advance.
Last pa pala, pag na late ba ako sa 6am hindi ako i accommodate? LOL

sis ckay since may anak ka bata pa at asawa based sa sinabe mo maiiwan cla sa pinas enuf proof na may strong family ties ka sa pinas na babalikan so malamang un ang isa titignan at icoconsidr nila para mgrant visa mo. goodluck and Godbless

Personally, I don't think random or swertihan ang pag-grant ng US Visa.  These consuls probably have secret red flags to look out for, and those they deny have those red flags. 

Hindi rin yan palakasan.  I know someone who is a relative of prominent politician, na-deny pa rin.

Kasi when I think about it, those people I personally know who have been denied, may grounds naman talaga for denial.  Kahit sabihin nila na hindi naman sila mag-TNT, naamoy kasi ng mga consuls yan.

hindi nga yan palakasan, pero kung may kakilala kayo personally sa loob, possible pala mabigyan kahit na hindi
karapat dapat mabigyan.

imagine, etong tatay ng friend ko, nag TNT na before sa US at may kaso pa sa mexico tapos nabigyan dahil lang may kakilala sila sa loob.

unfair sa mga kumukuha na talagang pasyal lang ang habol.

My son is 18 years old and his us visa will expire next year. travelled to us a couple of times, maximum length ng stay nya is 3 weeks.  May chance pa bang ma deny sya when he applies again?

kasi hindi lahat ng nagrerenew, nabibigyan. meron at meron parin nadedeny.

Wala naman as long as mapakita mo na you have decent job here and you prove to them na babalik ka? How to prove it na babalik ka? Thru your documents, emplyment cert, if you have family here nabalikan mo,work na babalikan esp if it is from multinational company, enough savings to sustain your trip.

I luckily got 10yrs multiple entry visa. Di ako hinanapan ng bank statement/savings, more on sa interview about my job and personal life. im single and i told them balikan ko fiance ko dito.and it also helps din that i worked in top 50 multinational company from UK base company namin. I hope it helps.
