Hi mga sis meron akong gustong i-consult sa inyo.

Dapat ba sabay kami ng daughter (2.5yrs old) ko mag apply ng tourist visa or
ako na lang muna magisa or kaming buong family?

True Reason: Gusto ko talaga bisitahin c lola kasi 90 na sya this march at hndi na nya kayang umuwi sa pinas at nagkakasakit sya lately natatakot ako na baka hindi nya na kami mahintay na magkasama-sama at shempre ang magulang ko at kapatid specially ang tatay ko na may sakit.

I have a friend she's single pa nga eh and she has a pending petition too pero after 10 gazillion years
pa siguro magiging priority her date. She got a 10 year multiple visa when she applied. Basta when
they ask you about the petition just be truthful.

nicaa I really planned to renew my visa before we got married. Ano pa nga eh, he had to get this
certificate of legal capacity at the US embassy for our wedding. He only went to get it the day after I got
my passport back. Para sure. We really wanted to get married here in the Philippines. More bang for our buck.

jazzlawyer No not yet. It super fast lang daw kasi since he is living with me here in the Philippines,
we can directly file for my petition at the US embassy manila. 3 months lang daw you can fly out na.

Im scared to use this new visa of mine nga, unless I dont fly with hubby. Baka ma point A to A ako.
However I think they'll let me pass kasi my husband for the past 3 years has been living here in Manila.

mabilis lang daw spousal visa? dito kasi kami ikakasal ni fiance. pero after the wedding, he'll go back na sa US. nagtry lang ako ng visa kasi nga ang alam ko matagal daw ang spousal eh. may umaabot daw 2 years

^mejo OT, pero pareply lang sis, ako spousal visa. took us 5 months to process it. Now dito na ko sa US. and hindi sa Pinas nakatira si hubby ha, tapos sa Australia pa siya naka-base for work. Yung inaabot siguro ng 2 years may mga complications sa paperwork yon. Matagal na nga ang 1 year eh. we filed july 2012 tapos got approved and visa was delivered december 2012. dito na ako nag-Christmas.

Is it ok to ask when ka kinasal and where? I just want to know kasi kung ilang months bago ka nafile  from the time of your wedding. dito ka sa US embassy manila nag file?

Jan kami sa philippines kasal, mag-2 years na. And sa Chicago lockbox kami nag submit ng petition tapos sa California service center ang processing. Hindi kami pwede sa USEM sa Manila kasi Hindi naman resident si hubby ng Phils. We did try pero Hindi kami pinayagan magsubmit jan. Hindi kami agad nag file after the wedding kasi ongoing ang construction ng house namin na nadelay ng developer kaya Hindi namin agad maiwanan.

Question girls, I recently got married January of this year, and hubby and I would like to travel to the US for our honeymoon maybe late this year. But I still don't have government IDs that show my married name. I was wondering if I should wait for the marriage contract, then apply for change of name sa IDs, then apply for the visa? Or can I do it now naman?

Sis, i think di naman kelangan ng government ID to apply for visa. I assume your passport is still under your maiden name? If so, you can apply na. Kelangan mo is the NSO-certified marriage certificate to signify your married status.

sis Kalaiyaan, yung husband ko, hindi lang pending petition, approved yung petition together with
his parents aka my in laws. But my hubby choose not to get that petition because, nagpakasal kami
dito sa Philippines and he's a newly grad military officer during that time.
When he applied na for a US Visa together with our kids, yung petition na yun ang unang tinanong
and so many questions about it. Sumakit ulo namin sa dami ng questions kasi unusual din daw yung
hindi tinake yung approved  petition tapos ngayon pupunta ng US to visit his parents and relatives.
Pero still, he got a 10-year visa together with our kids, na mga toddlers. Not kasabay ako sa US Visa
application since meron na ako nung single pa ako.

Yung brother in law ko din na elder than my hubby, may pending petition but he also got
a 10-yea visa and yes, single din sya.

Sis Sweet_Sexy_Me, oks lang to apply kahit single ka pa sa passport. although much better sana
kung mache-change muna yung passport mo bearing na your married name.

I remember na nung nagpakasal kami ni hubby, yung US Visa ko ay maiden name ko,then
ang passport ko ay married name ko. Lagi kong dala yung marriage certificate namin, in case
matanong ako regarding the discrepancy, pero never akong natanong for the past 4 years, na nagba-
back and forth ako sa US na magkaiba ang names ko sa Visa at passport.
Finally naayos nung nagrenew ako ng 2011.

Hello! I have submitted my DS-160 online. I'm gonna pay for the MRV. May I ask when is the earliest possible schedule for interview as of this time? TIA

^^ Thanks sis sa answer, baka this friday magpa-appoint na ako 1 day lang naman ang waiting time dito. Pinagiisipan ko pa rin kasi kung isasabay ko ang anak ko sa pagkuha ng visa.

in the part of the ds-160 application, travel companions information. Should I click yes to the question, Are there other persons traveling with you, even if we (my mom and aunt) are planning to travel together, but we are not part of an organized tour?

After successfully submitting DS-160, all I have to do is to print the confirmation page with the bar code and pay at BPI, am I correct? After, I can already call the hotline to schedule an appointment? Is it better to call or schedule an interview online?

Yan yung kailangan to pay at BPI. Youa lso need to bring your passport.

After that pwede na mag schedule (but I'm not sure if agad agad or you have to wait for the next day? Di kasi ako nag schedule agad).

Or I don't think we qualify for group travel kasi. How much ba payment online?

Sis, you can use one account lang, and apply as a family. Sure ako pwede for your mom, para isang number lang kayo. Not sure lang if pwede ang aunt as "family".. Try mo na muna isabay sya sa inyo ng Mom mo. Pag di pwede, tsaka mo sya igawa ng another account.
