Aww sis sparklingjewel i hope you find someone to make your ento gowns soon i really wish i could help... Have you inquired with camille garcia? Feeling ko affordable siya. Have you also tried going for a drive around your area to scout couturiers? There are some with bridal shops but don't really advertise.

Actually sis im getting the infinity gowns kasi i like the tulle hehe my flower girls will be wearing big puffy tulle skirts kasi kaya naisip ko parang bagay. Papabawasan ko nalang siguro yung tulle para not so fluffy my bridesmaids and secondary sponsors hehe.

^5k each pala mine i just checked, for silk chiffon with lace or powerknit with lace. They're still the cheapest we've found na parang ok. Concerned lang on the parking as its hard that they don't have convenient parking right outside. Most of my ento are self-driven.

I know Camille but di ko type her bridal gowns so i didnt check her out narin for ento hehe is she affordable? Feels weird kasi i knew her back in college.

I was thinking about their parking situation din. It was too tight. The guard let us park naman in eagle star's parking sa ilalim. My ento has cars din eh and i'm not too good with tight parking spaces. I plan to have us park in regis center kasi it's a few meters lang from eagle star condo. Yeah sis, sa mga nakita ko at that price range sila yung pinaka-pulido yung gawa and maganda yung output.

I didnt really like camille's work either. Di ko masyado type craftsmanship niya. But of all the designers i asked for a quote nun (for my wedding gown), she was the cheapest. So im guessing her ento gowns might be cheaper than average too?

Kaso ang mahirap sakin, im really looking for a designer in a central location (siguro Makati / Mandaluyong / San Juan would be best) because i want to take into consideration my entourage's locations at para fair. Sis papemelroti sa totoo lang im beginning to think 4500 is too low to expect something well-made and fabulous, feeling ko kaya lang naging 4500 yung previous designer i booked kasi hindi sila Divi location, haha. Kasi kung may 4500 na sigurado output e matagal ko nang binook yun. Pero yun nga, the only one with that kind of quote which i booked, ended up to be a bad experience pa kasi they could not deliver. So far the options im looking at puro nasa 6000-6500 talaga (Ivory and White, Pablo Cabahug, Raza). Yun nga lang since ang konti lang ng shortlisted ko ngayon di pa ako satisfied, still looking. Balitaan kita.

yes please do. I am looking at the 6000 range, i liked the ento gowns of my friend.. a designer with the surname "lee" but she had problems with the gown din.it has to be accessible since I don't want my entourage to get stressed out while doing fittings coz mahirap magpark =(

Ah mura pa sya kasi nagsisimula palang siguro but yeah i didnt like rin eh. Still scouting for ento designers na 4000-5000 price range as i have several na for 5000-6000.. Sis i also parked sa basement haha but i dont want to hassle my ento every time. Factor to sakin altho kay fiance hinde. Still thinking if worth paying an extra 8k for my 2nd option na super convenient Valle Verde location no parking probs hehe

alam mo sis factor din sakin parking and sa h2b ko rin hinde haha. when we went to ivory and white nung sat, napa-"yikes" ako sa sikip. pero you can try sis to park sa regis center. it's a mini mall at the corner of fabian dela rosa and katipunan. it's across kfc and in front of ateneo. it's barely a walk to ivory and white. plan ko sa regis kaming lahat magpark then we'll have coffee nalang there after the fitting.

in the end sis, nasa sayo lang din. i guess add up all the factors and hanapin mo best fit for you. but think of it this way, that 8k can go to additional cocktail food or an upgrade somewhere else

You enter the parking from where, Katips or de la rosa? Apart from parking, location is also a consideration since I&W isn't really central to my ento, ang perfect sana is Ortigas/ Mandaluyong / Makati. I'm still scouting, but only giving myself til end of month to book.

Tanong lang is it not normal for designers to sketch for you and provide design studies so you can decide if you want to book or not? Encountered two designers na who wanted me to pay first a reservation fee before they provide sketches for the ento. Im like, so how do i decide if Im confident enough to book? Wala pang proof how creative they are (or how bano!) So this is exactly what happened before with Desino Dulce which we obviously regretted and now with another prospective designer we are eyeing as replacement. Di naman lahat ganito pero dalawa na so far. And i am not about to make the same mistake in reserving again kung walang sketches, baka mag end up e ako na ang magsketch sa frustration :p

Entourage dress starts at 6k, flower girls at 4k, mothers at 10k.

Mga sis try niyo search sila Celline Bautista and Elizabeth Vy designs magaganda naman gawa nila and baka pasok budget niyo sakanila. Makati based silang dalawa if I remember right

Sis you enter the parking through Katipunan: there's a small street (Park 9 by the pedestrian bridge from Ateneo to Regis) before Fabian dela rosa. Regis' indoor parking is through that street. Sis, yikes Katipunan is on the other end of Makati. Malayo na nga siya from the locations you want... Kami kasi ng ento ko mostly from the north eh. Convenient talaga na location for us yung Katipunan.

As for designers that require you to book first before sketching, my SIL had Camille Garcia do her bridal gown and she said Camille asks daw that you book first before she sketches your gown. Move on ka nalang siguro sis if hindi kayo match ng designer na yan.

^ i don't know if its normal to book entourage designers before sketch but i personally am planning on showing them my pegs and booking then they can sketch. Maybe the reason they do not do this is because entourage usually has different tweaks in design and the fact max maliit un profit nila affects how they manage their time?

bridal gown is a different matter though. i would never book someone without seeing their sketch.

Bakit ayaw nila mag sketch before booking? How can you be sure na magugustuhan mo sketch nila? That's weird and so inconvenient!!

What they can do if takot silang gayahin yung sketch nila is to keep the sketch until you book them. That's what happened to me. Veluz did a sketch for me but she kept it until I booked her.

Haha e ako sis nakuha ko na sila talaga. Ambait kasi nung kumausap sakin so when i was pressured to pay a reservation fee i gave in. Big mistake!!

I honestly don't know what they're thinking, na ipapagaya ko sa ibang designer yung sketch nila siguro. Which doesnt make sense because i show all potential designers the same pegs naman they will just re-sketch. Malabo talaga yung ganito. I would never ever ever pay something upfront again without satisfactory sketches. Just to share si Desino Dulce yung ganito and now also si New Creation Fashion/ Evelyn Guerrero whom i just discovered in my research...

Update: I've met with New Creation Fashion, and as promised they wouldnt sketch until I paid "reservation" fee of 5k. So nagchichikahan lang kami dun about designs and motifs and cloths that arent final. But what really ticked me off was that the owner said the 5k is so they can source cloths in my motif colors and show me next time. Wow, ang mahal naman ng swatches na 1 inch big! And get this, in case wala daw siyang mahanap na match sa colors ko and i decide not to pursue with her because of it, the 5k is a sunk cost na. Goodness! So i cant imagine paying 5k kung pwede palang wala siyang mahanap. Super konti ng selection nya of colors for powermesh (na madami naman sa iba) so takot namin e wala sya makuha. Needless to say we didnt get her. Napakaproblematic talaga ng suppliers when our budget is cheap hay hahaha

I just came from my gown designer today. Looks like I will be trying to source my entourage gowns from another supplier. My designers super basic and plain bridesmaids' gowns are 8k then if there is lace or anything it will be about 10k.

Ok ako to pay 8k per dress but sana if it was already for more complicated designs. Otherwise I want to stick to a much lower price!

I really hope I find a good source in the Makati or Ortigas area.

^Hi Chili1113 if i had your budget I would probably go to Andrea Tetangco. She quoted me 9k each for bridesmaid dresses with draping and corded lace. It is SOOO difficult to search for good suppliers at my budget! Haha ang hirap ng poor, puro pasaway mga supplier at this price range. Honestly the only suppliers i ever feel like changing are the ones i scrimped on. So i might up my ento budget a bit, ayoko na ng pasaway sa buhay i want easy breezy preps hahaha.

sparklingjewel hehe adding 3 additional heads in my entourage, my budget is now lower! LOL before kasi all immediate family members in the entourage only thats why I didnt mind spending a bit more since the gowns will all be for either my sister or sisters-in-law. However, now I wanna to stick sana to 6k max for the gowns. Of course, if pwede lower pa even better!

Just concerned with supplier location. Like you, I don't want my entourage to get hassled by the location of their fittings. I also don't want naman to send them also to a place na hindi maayos the studio or shop also hehe

Reviewing the outputs from the suppliers currently pricing at 5-6k, parang I am really not happy with their output... esp the fit. Honestly im so tired of looking! There are new ones i researched pero they are 6500 and up which will be beyond what I want to spend hehe siguro last minute nalang yun if ever but i am getting desperate kasi 6 months to go!!

Elizabeth Vy is 8k and up, Rosalyn daw is 7k and up and i found Iconique too but 7500 and up. All beyond budget but way better fit than the ones I've found so far na 5-6k hehe

sparklingjewel, I feel for you! Think of it nalang this way, stick to your budget because your entourage is only going to wear their dress for x hours and everyone else will focus on you naman eh Hope you find your entourage designer soon.
