Hi sis! If you have at least two days in Saigon, advice ko is to do both, cu chi tunnel is half day lang naman. but if not, for me, must see ang Cu Chi Tunnel tour. Super nagenjoy ako, siguro kasi, super informative ng tour guide naming and mahilig din ako sa history.

We joined the XO Tours, Saigon by Night. Mag tour kayo na naka motor with a female driver. It was fun, perhaps something extraordinary.

Suggest ko lang yung tinuluyan nameng hotel sa Saigon - Thien Xuan Hotel. Slim hotel lang siya with buffet breakfast nung nag stay kami. Ang OK para sakin dun ay yung location, tanaw mo na yung Ben Thanh Market at walking distance halos lahat ng city sights. 3nights ata kami dun at everyday nasa market kami. Dun na rin kami sa area kumain ng Pho, bumili ng kape at souvenirs.

For the tour, pina ayos nalang namen sa receptionist na mag j join kami ng tour for the Mekong River Cruise mejo 1 day yun. IN USD ang bayad kaya mejo madaling compute lang. I think may 2 rates yung tour. mas mahal ng konti yung nakuha namen. Kasi may complimentary water sa bus at nauna kaming serve ng lunch sa River Cruise at may hipon atang kasama. Parang yun yung add-ons. Then next day nag pa rent kami ng car with driver since 5 kami papuntang Cu Chi Tunnel. Half day tour lang yun. Then pag uwi lakad lakad lang sa city.

Madaming fake Deuter at North Face bags din dun. Some say orig, kaya beware. Coffee, ok mamili dun at yung lacquer products.

Suggest ko lang, pag namimili kayo sa Ben Thanh more than 50 percent ang tawad niyo. Kasi mahal ng first asking price nila. At kung mahilig kayo mag convert from Dong to Peso, gumawa na kayo ng kodigo ng conversion

About money changing, nag papalit kami ng peso to USD sa pinas. then pagdating na sa Saigon kami nagpapalit ng USD to Dong. Actually even taxis accept USD kahit sa market, hotels and stores kaya wala namang problem masyado.

I super enjoyed my HCM trip last summer. Next year balik kami pero Hanoi, then HCM kami before balik ng Manila.

We wanna book a flight nalang na Hanoi to HCM kesa train kasi matagal na travel masyado pag train. Anyone tried VietJet Air? Ok ba? Yun kasi cheapest.

^ hi sis, I have read before na meron nito because that was also my initial plan when I was drafting my itinerary for my SEA trip 2years ago. You can go ask it directly from your Siem Reap accommodation. Mostly they will arrange it for you. I think around 8PM ata start ng byahe including pick-up of passengers from each guest houses. HTH.

Hi everyone!

We really loved the HCMC leg of our Indochina trip last year and we promised ourselves to visit Hanoi this year. We've finally booked our tickets and will be going there end of September. We're also planning on squeezing in a visit to Hue and Hoi An.

We have a total of 9 whole days for the trip and would like to ask for your help/suggestions for our itinerary.

We'd like to do the Halong Bay cruise but would like to opt for the Bai Tu Long route (still part of Halong) to avoid the crowd. Sulit ba ang overnight sa junk/cruise? Been browsing the net and so far wagas ang presyo ng 2D/1N cruise. Nasa $150/person ang average mid-range tour price. For those who've done Halong Bay, kamusta experience niyo at around how much ginastos niyo sa tour?

Also, what do you girls think of our tentative itinerary:

Day 1 and 2- Explore Hanoi
Day 3 and 4- Halong Bay cruise
Day 5- Arrive at Hue (planning on taking the train); explore Hue
Day 6- Motorbike tour to Hoi An (5pm arrival)
Day 7 and 8- Explore Hoi An
Day 9- Fly back to Hanoi for Mla flight (1am the next day)
