TIA ;D

My friend mentioned Furama and Fusion Maia Resort na meron unlimited spa for the guests. If very nice view of the ocean, you can check daw Jimmy Hotel sis. :)

ayon sa mga paunang nabasa ko 15hrs daw yun byahe from SR to HCMC? seryoso ba yun? tapos di daw recommended yun gabing byahe kasi mataas chance ng accidents. :(

@lakwatsa: sis, 10 - 13 hrs. Baka nagkaproblema yun kaya nag 15 hrs?

Nakakapagod itong iti namin haha.
Day 1 PM - arrived at Siem Reap
Day 2 - Angkor Park + Apsara Show and Buffet + Night Market
Day 3 - Cambodia to Vietnam (8 am - 8 pm byahe namin)
Day 4 - Cu Chi tunnel + Ben Thanh market (shopping) + Food festival; 10 pm went to airport
Day 5 (1 AM) - flight to Manila

miss charcoal you can still squeeze in a short visit to 2-3 of these: the opera house, notre dame cathedral, post office and/or independence palace after your cu chi visit and the ben thanh market. the vendors at ben thanh can be pretty aggressive, when you touch their merchandise they will hold on to your arms until you reach a bargain with them. the saigon square people are more courteous.

lakwatsa 12 hours trip by bus from siem reap to ho chi minh. 6 hours siem reap to pnom penh stopover + 6 hours pnom penh to ho chi minh. the restrooms in the stopovers aren't always clean :( best to bring wipes/sanitizers.

you will have to go down your bus when you reach the cambodia-vietnam border for immigration check.

sis Miss Charcoal, anong bus sinakyan nyo from Cambodia to Vietnam? parang Malaysia-SG bus ba sya na bababa ka lang sa immigration then sakay ulit sa same bus after?

Tapos from SR to PP 6 hrs byahe, magpapalit ng bus.

Was on a business trip to Hanoi about 6 years ago. Food was amazing but I wouldn't return anytime soon. Not really much to see or do. I do love the Old french Quarters and the night markets. But the food, OMG! I can't forget it. A local colleague took my out every day (lunch and dinner) to all these hole in the walls. If I had the money I'd go back for a foodtrip...and the silks! The language carrier was kinda tough though.

Has anybody been to Hoi An or Mui Ne? Booked tickets ngayong December, and we really want to explore more of Vietnam beyond Saigon. Baka may suggestions?

^ 3 days and 2 nights i guess is okay.

Spend the first night sa halong bay. get a 2d/1n cruise, ranges from $45 to $65 dollars. Ask around kasi madaming nag ooffer iba iba ang price. Spend your 2 night or in Hanoi. Punta kayo sa old quarters to experience yung bia hoi or fresh beer nila. it is crazy there. wala pa akong nakitang ganung ka crazy na inuman sa kalye; nakaupo sila sa maliliit na stool at super daming lokal.

dont forget to try the vietnamese iced coffee! i guarantee you, youll go ga** over it!
