Hong Kong Guide (Thread 30)

Hi sisters!
We already booked Yui Fai Guest house para sa trip naming this coming March sa HK.
There are changes sa itinerary namin, di na kame visit sa Macau.
Can you help me?  Baka may maisasuggest pa kayo, kasi parang bitin  and di sulit ang trip namin, especially yung last day.  Thanks a lot!

SATURDAY
6:40pm ETA to HK
8:15pm expected arrival in yui fai guest house
9:00pm eat & gala

SUNDAY
8:00am -    eat then go to Ocean Park
       Pm -   Avenue of stars
                Night Market

MONDAY
7:00am -   The Peak
      DisneyLand

TUESDAY
9:00 am-    Ngong Ping

4:00 pm   at HK airport
7:30 pm   flight to Manila

^1hour yes, pero you cannot estimate the time kasi depende sa maabutan nyong oras ng ferry na available or yung ticket na available. mostly pagpunta mo sa ferry wala na ticket for next available ferry. bette rto purchase in advanced. meron dun sa mga agencies dun pero ganun din minsan wala na for the next earliest.

Thanks sis, I'll just buy na nga lang yung tickets ng first day namin sa HK para sure na meron. I plan on getting from Cotai Jet... if ever, online na lang ako bibili a few months before our travel date para sure na meron pa.

How about yung gondola ride, same day selling lang ba siya?

^^ do ngong pin and disneyland together as magkalapit sila. the peak and disney are very far from each other. malapit peak and ocean park.

Will be in hk in march. Any suggestions po which one is better, yui fai or cosmic guesthouse?

^ask lang po. Ano mas maganda
1. From hongkong to macau balikan sa umaga alis namin then balik sa gabi
2. From manila to macau umaga alis sa manila gala whole day sa macau (w/luggage) then sa gabi hongkong para hindi mami check in namin sa hotel..

^ mahirap gumala sa macau with luggage kasi it's a lot of bus rides. if you really want to go to macau after arriving in hk, there is a baggage area sa hkai pero may bayad per hour per luggage. or go to macau on a different day na talaga

^So mas ok na magbalikan na lang alis kami sa hongkong ng umaga then balik sa gabi sa 2nd or 3rd day tirp namin..sa akin kasi ok lang na HK na lang akam kaso gusto ng kasama ko na mag Macau..

^ yeah kasi when you get to the airport and go directly to macau, you don't know what time may available na ferry, mabilis kasi maubos. better to buy when you arrive so you can choose the earlier sailing.

^thank sis... Dapat kasi 3 days and 2 nights lang naging 4 days and 3 night na nga dahil sa Macau trip..

Hi sisses! Pag march hindi na winter sa hk right? Alam ko coldest months are jan to feb. pag march carry na ba ordinary jacket? We are going with our 3 yr old daughter kasi eh i bought her cardigan, light jacket and a kikay trench coat. Ok na kaya yun? No need for scarf na ba? Thanks

^ when in march are you going? better check the temperatures para sure kasi last december super lamig, nag 7 or 8 degrees and that has never happened during the times that i go to hk pag december. buti ng ready kaysa ginawin.

hi sisses! wats instore for me in Li Yuen East Central? will be staying there in Feb (first time) but i stayed twice na in Tsim Sha Tsui.

also from Li Yuen East, walking distance ba to MTR station just like in TST? when i stayed kc in TST, MTR lang mode of transpo ko, never tried bus (aside from A21 from airport to TST and vice versa).

Malamig pa ang march actually minsan hanggang first week of april pa, gaya last year nung march mga 15 degrees nga pero grabe naman yung hangin

^carry naman ang ordinary jacket sis? Kasi last time pumunta kami april carry na light jacket sa gabi. Pero pag morning kahit hindi na. Thanks sis

hi! meron po ba dito nakapag try ng buffet breakfast or buffet dinner sa Hongkong disneyland Enchanted Garden? nakailang punta na din ako sa disneyland pero di ko pa natry ito, gusto ko sana gawin namin for my son 4th birthday, gusto ko din sana mag order ng cake para sa kanya.. pa share naman po ng experience nyo regarding this... thanks!

princess lorraine better check the weather before you leave, para may idea kayo. Pero better na magdala pa din kayo ng extra jacket specially for the child in case it gets too cold.

mom_c madami ng post about the buffet in Enchanted Garden. We tried the dinner buffet there and we also ordered 2 cakes for my daughter's 3rd bday. The cake was good, though the dinner was quite expensive for more or less HKD500 per person.

We'll be in hongkong in two weeks and i was just wondering, if bumili ng sim card pwede din ba siya gamitin for mobile nternet or may separate na dapat bilhin for that?
