Oo nga sis. pricey sa greenery then kasi dun kinasal yung kapatid ng mapapang-asawa ko e. inhouse yung ibang suppliers kaya kaloka. nagbayad pa sila ng corkage kasi ayaw nila yung ibang suppliers e. kaya umaatikabong gastos.

Yes, may corkage sila. Ayoko rin kasi ng medyo strict sa venue.  So sa Greenery ka din ba sis?

^leynathan, I'm an Alabang bride! Pareho tayo sa south! Konti palang na-book ko but my church is St. James and my reception is Palms Country Club. Wala pa din akong coordinator but I usually meet coordinators when I work at weddings. So far wala pa akong nakikilala na gusto kong maging coordinator ko. But here's hoping that the one in the wedding that I'm going to tomorrow will be good

I already book a WC, at least may mga ma isusugest sya na suppliers. If you need a WC, I recommend him kasi organize sya and he see's to it na may input ako sa wedding preps. So far kasi sa palitan namin ng emails, i felt na mabusisi sya and meticulous.

I only met him once, pero parang ang tagal na namin magkakilala kasi he's accommodating ang very comfy sya kasama. Sana ganun din sya organize sa execution ng wedding namin noh?..Pero base naman sa review okay naman daw sya.

^ mga sisses, i'll have thoffy consulta (TOE) as my OTD na. i'm now looking for south suppliers like florists and videographer. puro pencil book palang kasi ako ngayon.

First post! 2013 bride here So far, church pa lang nabook namin for our Nov. 16, 2013 wedding. We booked St. Ignatius de Loyola Cathedral @ Camp Aguinaldo. I think not bad na din ang 10k for an airconditioned church. Love at first sight ako sa church - perfect for a cozy and intimate wedding ceremony, which is exactly what we're going for.

We checked possible venues na within the church's vicinity lang, and we found Tejeros Hall. 15k ang rental fee if you're also getting their in-house caterer. Pero pag outside caterer, 40k siya. Plus ang daming requirements (e.g. brgy & police clearance for every person from the catering company who will be serving at the reception). I'm willing to try naman kung impressive yung food ng in-house caterer, worry ko lang baka hindi maganda ang venue styling nila. We'll see.

Anybody who can suggest alternative reception venues na malapit lang sa St. Ignatius Cathedral? Thanks

hello fellow 2013 brides!  10 days to go na lang, hello 2013 na tayo! congrats sa mga january brides, excited na ako for all of you mga sis.   december 2013 pa kami kaya church at reception pa lang napareserved namin pero we're on some changes na baka magchange pa kami. anyways, baka naman meron sa inyo dito nakapagocular sa patio victoria intramuros and fernwood gardens or attended a wedding to those venues? we're considering those venues kasi since garden theme at kasya naman yung expected 250 guests namin.. hope you could help me with this mga sis. TIA!

Hi sis, kakagaling ko lang yesterday sa wedding ng bff ko sa patio victoria yung reception. Ok naman sya, maganda yung place at dreamy yung set-up nila. Yung food para sakin so-so lang.. pero try nyo mag FT dun, baka kasi hndi lang ako nasarapan gaano dun sa food choices ng bff ko since mapili ako sa pagkain. pero kung place lang ang pag uusapan. maganda sya..

hi mga sis  ask ko lang kaya pa kaya ang Sept 2013 na wedding kung sa January pa ako mag simula for preparation? 2014 pa talaga sana pero kung ma push ng 2013 mas ok, iniisip ko lang kung kaya ang 7motnhs preparation? thanks

hi ms.j, kaya yan. basta magsimula ka na ngayon and scout for available suppliers, every week dapat may naa-accomplish ka. ang matagal lang naman e pag iipon ng budget. hehe.

^ yup I agree with leynathan, ms.j! Just have a time table to accomplish things and I'm sure you'll get everything done by your wedding day. Go the the expo in PICC by Weddings and Beyond on Jan 12-13! You'll get a lot of suppliers there!

sis yung photo video namin my office sa south area kasi meron sila 2 members na team na taga south e.. try mo sila since hindi sila sumisingil ng out of town fee sa south as part of their promo.  Laguna, tagaytay, batangas at cavite ata ang south weddings na walang out of town at isa pa they give discount sa girltalker.  recommended ng officemate ko yan kaya we got them. ang babait naman at reasonable packages. hanapin mo nlng FB nila Pentaprism Studios sis.  Go for it!

Hi sis! I'm also a bride from the south. Pareho tayo ng OTD coordinator. Yey! We really didn't choose our suppliers based on their location kasi e. Pero based on my previous research, eto yung mga suppliers na based sa south:

-Raymond Fortun (Photo): Paranaque
-Ian Santillan (Photo): Filinvest, Alabang
-Serge Igonia (Florist): San Pedro, Laguna
-PartyPics (Photobooth): Paranaque
-Passion Cooks (Caterer): Paranaque- ahm, actually, eto yung kaisa-isang supplier na we've considered the location pala. Less travel time, less risk for food spoilage.
-Eds Go (HMUA): Las Pinas

Yun lang ang maalala ko. Parang wala akong nakitang videographer na from the South e. Happy preps!
