Depende ata sa tatak sis. Kasi un castle sa mall, I bought 1900++ for the comforter, 1 pillow and 2 bolsters. Pero may mga cheaper brands pa.

Hi sis mamey, mas mura sa mall. Kasi sa SM dep't store baby company ang bili ko sa 1 set ng comforter, 2 bolster pillows at 1 head pillow is around 900+ at [textspeak!] fitted bed sheet naman around 500+. Meron pa nga akong nakitang fitted bed sheet na nasa 250 sa SM dep't store na hindi baby company ang brand pero sabi ng saleslady pangit daw tela kasi nag hihimulmol pag nilabhan. Yun nga lang simple at limited lang designs ng fitted sheets, minsan 1 plain color lang.

depende kasi sa quality yun sis, may mga ganyang price din na mabibili sa sm pero meron din mas mahal..ask mo kung ilan thread count nung sa ig seller, the higher the thread count, the better..baka rin kasi hindi maging comfortable si baby kapag magaspang ang bedsheet

Mga pedias nowadays ayaw nila ng may pinapahid pahid kay baby like manzanilla and baby oil kasi may bad effects na daw kay baby. Kaya if those oils are in your list alisin na sayang money.


Question, anong pwede kaya na fab con sa damit ni baby? I'm using cycles kasi pero nakakatigas ng damit nya. Magaspang na ibang blankets and towels nya. TIA

my son is already 1 yr and 1 month. aside from the usual baby essentials, i realized this few things which are also very essential when having a baby:

swaddle/swaddling - i bought the one by swaddle me kc madaling gamitin compare to muslins na you have to fold to swaddle. this is very comforting for babies during sleep. i only discovered the wonders of swaddling like more than 2 weeks na anak ko kaya i wish I've known it beforehand.

co-sleeper - i never had this. my baby just slept in the crib. it would really be nice to have your baby sleep beside you without worrying na madaganan mo sya 

Dr. brown's feeding bottles (anti colic feature) - the one with funnel like inside. really works and minimizes baby's colic

functional and huge diaper bag - the 1st one i bought was just out of the blue as my hospital bag. but when i searched for other diaper bags online, wow there are so many much fashionable, durable and very functional. a huge one to put a lot of baby things kung pwede lang dalhin lahat ng gamit ni baby hehe.

electric breast pump - i only breastfed for 2 mos. but if i had a chance to breastfed longer i would invest on a nice and easy to use electric breast pump

air humidifier - buy a good one coz your baby really needs this to minimize nasal congestion

nasal suction & nasal drops - my baby always had nose congestion i used the one like a pump w/c is mahirap gamitin kay baby. i think the one like nose frida with small hose to suck works very well.

a very mild liquid soap for bathing - i will recommend mustela or cetaphil and the likes. the very 1st one i used was johnsons and lactacyd which is hindi hiyang ni baby nagdry skin nya. after that i used mustela na. very mild and hiyang ni baby & super bango. I'm using the liquid soap which is very tipid gamitin. as in 1 bottle lasted for like 7-8 mos. so its worth to buy it naman kahit mejo pricey.

a very nice baby carrier - i think finding the right baby carrier is hard especially for new born but I've heard good things about baby wearing. i bought a baby carrier with hipseat when my baby was old enough to use it like at 6 mos. IMO cloth like baby carriers like ergo,ktan,tula etc is not adviseable for pinas weather esp if going out unless nasa mall lang or under air conditioner.

zinc oxide cream for rashes - very useful! we need this moms!

a comfy breastfeeding chair/couch - i really wish i bought one!

changing table - the one i had was attached to the crib. i find it very easy to change my baby's diapers/clothes rather than doing it on the bed

socks - i wont recommend booties kasi natatangal lang sa paa. socks are better

lots of extra wash cloths/lampins/bibs - you will need a lot of these! kesa maglaba everytime better stock a lot of this na lang

mga sis, as in madaming newborn diapers ba kelangan? gano katagal si baby sa newborn size?
2 packs pa lang (around 40pcs) nabibili ko and plan to buy more but naisip ko lang baka pagkaliitan agad ni baby ang newborn size.

hello, mommies!! first time mom here. Question: how many baby bottles does a working mom need? my plan is exclusive BF hopefully i have enough supply. I ordered started kit of A vent. will these be enough? And what is the best size of bottle? is 4 oz enough? until what month will baby use 4oz?

Moms, how many swaddles/sleepsacks would a baby need? Kasi diba not advisable na yung usual swaddling when baby can roll, mga around 3 months age?

^i was not able use our swaddles with our lo, mas snug for me yung baby blanket niya, flannel and cotton. Sandali lang din kami nagswaddle kasi gusto niya nakalabas yung isa niyang arm lol. Hindi naman naging prob yun  with regards to her moro reflex, pag nagugulat siya natutulog lang din siya agad, so i didnt find the need to swaddle her all the time.

Thank you sis @det060403. am planning to buy rin kasi swaddling blanket. actually right now, konti pa lang talaga yung nabili kong mga damit, i only have 3 pcs each of mga tie-sides, pajamas, etc. hindi ko alam gaano kadami ang need ko.

mga sis. meron ba sa inyong nakabili ng mga co-sleeper or bedside crib? we have a crib/playard na kaya lang parang mas defined kasi yung purpose nung co-sleeper. ask ko lang sana if sulit, kasi parang 12K na yung pinakamurang nakita ko, if ma-kaliitan na kagad ni baby within 3 months niya. sayang naman. tia!

I think mas ok to kasi bukod sa portable, masyado atang mahal un 12k e mabilis lang lumaki ang baby. Nun nag canvas kami ng portable co-sleeper around 4-5k siya.

Hinde na din kami bumili ng crib na uso ngayon, yun may 2 levels na gawa sa nylon material. Napansin kasi namin sa pamangkin ko hinde siya natuto tumayo kasi umuuga un bed mismo kaya nag wooden crib na lang kami since pede naman siya maging playpen pag laki nya
