sis yung culion is a part of a differentr tour I think. lalo na kung kina ate rina. dun sa sinend nya sayo na pdf na quotation usually nakalagay dun yung inclusions, and yung other optional tours. usually kasi banana-malcapuya-bulog dos ang magkasama sa standard na tour. either nag-combined tours sila, or baka DIY, so hawak nila iti nila

sis hun_nie08 ...tama sis yun nga yun ... kasi nakabasa ako sa isang blog after nila mag malcapuya, dun naman yung pinaka-last destination nila on that day..

sis matetreyes ...siguro nga sis nag pa request sila dumaan dun...check ko ulit yung binigay saken na pdf.. pero sa Island Hopping, puros Island lang talaga ang ppuntahan namen??

^ kay ate Rina din kami kumuha ng pkg last year. ibang tour yung sa cullion. nandun yung museum na sinasabi nila. kelangan siguro ng 1 araw para doon.

yung banana-malcapuya-bulog dos, puro islands lang talaga ang peg dun. yung coron loop, yun yung halo-halo. may trekking, may lake, lagoons, snorkeling sites and beach

mga sis! sana may mag-tiyaga sa inyo to offer an opinion dito sa dilemma ko, hehe. kasi talagang undecided pa ko.

i've done a lot of research regarding hotels/resorts in Coron and i've shortlisted my choice to the following three resorts with budget of 5K to 8K/night for a room for 4pax. pero i have some basic preferences kasi in an accommodation:

- ok ang bathroom
- quiet location (a little outside town proper para hindi maingay, pero hindi yung sobrang layo)
- w/ TV
- w/ pool


now, based on the above preferences, wala akong makitang accommodation that has all these preferences, so parang i need to compromise one factor, i just can't decide pa. here are my choices:

1. Asia Grand View Resort
- ok ang bathroom
- quiet location
- no TV (sana kasi mag-add na ng TV)
- w/ pool

2. Sunz En Coron
- cramped bathroom daw (to those who stayed in Sunz, cramped ba talaga? masyado yatang malapit ang shower sa toilet? yun kasi yung nabasa ko at may nakita din akong picture)
- quiet location
- w/ TV
- w/ pool

3. Coron Gateway Hotel and Suites
- ok ang bathroom
- noisy location (to those who stayed here, sobrang lapit daw nito sa town center so pag madaling araw daw medyo maingay na, may nabasa akong ganung review na nagigising daw sila sa madaling araw. ganun din ba na-experience niyo?)
- w/ TV
- no pool (pero keri lang na walang pool, ito yung least requirement ko, mas importante sakin ang tahimik ang location)


so kung may naka-stay na sa inyo in one or more of these, baka you can answer my questions... thanks!!

coron gateway is right beside the public market kaya super ingay and busy ng area nya

^thanks for the feedback. that confirms it then, out na sa options ang Coron gateway, hehe. ayoko ng maingay. so between Asia Grand View and Sunz En Coron na lang...


EDIT: mga sis!!!!!!!! i just called up Asia Grand View Hotel, may TV na sila!!!!! yey!!!! hindi lang magagamit pag brownout, kasi may generator nga sila, kaso syempre walang programming kasi brownout sa town. pero yey may TV na sila!!!! cramped ba talaga ang bathroom sa Sunz? i mean masyado bang malapit yung shower sa toilet? kasi mas mura ang Sunz sa Asia Grand View, kaya mas gusto ko sana dun. ang concern ko lang ay yung bathroom. kasi kung cramped talaga, mukhang sa Asia Grand View nga kami babagsak.

@meimei sis, have you checked princess of coron? it has all 4 of your preferences. stayed there last month lang. spacious bathroom, quiet location, w/ tv, and w/ pool. we stayed at the rooms facing the pool.

@purpleish we stayed sa Opa and Betti rooms sis. yung good for 6 persons. up and down sya na room. yung nasa taas is a bit smaller than the one sa baba. Kasya namn kaming lahat. 5 adults sa baba then 4 sa taas. what I like sa princess of coron was yung bathroom nila. super spacious. tapos may glass door yung shower. maliit nga lang yung shower space. pero at least divided sya sa toilet.

sis since for sure naman sa port kayo i-meet before island hopping, you can eat there na lang, ang port kasi ay nasa public market din naman. so doon and along the way madami na kainan. may mga tapsilog type din. or kung hindi naman kayo heavy breakfast person, yung am snacks nila ate rina pwede ng breakfast.

yung hotel namin (Birang Guesthouse) ay likod nya beach so yung mga tours namin hindi na kami pumupunta sa port dun na kami mismo sinusundo ng boat sa hotel..

so better to find a hotel na ang likod ay beach

sis, nagbasa ako ng reviews sa Agoda, ok naman, pero some mentioned that you'll need to walk up a hill to get to/from town center kasi Princess of Coron is located up a hill daw. di ba mahihirapan ang senior citizen? 62 na kasi ang dad ko and he has arthritis.

also, may nabasa ako na pag brownout daw, although may generator sila, light and fan lang daw ang magagamit pero hindi yung aircon... tsaka madami raw lamok even inside the room.

Sis, both Sunz and Asia Grand View are far from the town proper ah. I mean di sya katulad ng ibang hotels na just few minutes of walk. So i consider mo din yung transpo if you want to tour around the town pag kakain or magliibot. :-)

Sis pa suggest naman ng hotel na pwedeng few minutes of walk lang. Ok lang na maingay sa labas basta wag maingay sa loob ng kwarto syempre mahirap matulog  . Thanks sis!

yes sis, i know na kailangan ng transpo to both Sunz and Asia Grand View. ayoko kasi talaga ng maingay, magulo, at crowded kaya keri lang na dun kami. we'll just go out for dinner some nights, then some nights baka sa hotel na lang ang dinner. para sa town tour, baka sa Maquinit lang kami kasi mahihirapan ang dad ko umakyat ng Mt. Tapyas kaya hindi na dun.
