Super blessed kami ni fiance because both our parents love us hehe. Cute pa ng dad niya he'd buy mangoes for me because I love that fruit and one time matagal ako di nakapunta sa house nila because I was busy his dad was looking for me kasi masisira na yung mangoes he saved for me. When we're in a mall, his parents would take note of the items I look at and at times I get surprised na binili na pala nila for me. hehe and the best part is all i have to be is myself, no extra caution around his parents. They enjoy my being childlike and madaldal hehe =D

My dad loves  my fiance too because they think the same way.. Negosyante kung magisip so dad and mom really enjoy speaking to him they learn a lot from each other. He's also so gentlemanly to my mom and treats her like a special woman, and that's naturally how he is with me din.

my parents like my boyfriend, thank god.

i was even surprised that they were pretty cool about everything, us living together, him flying with us for the holidays in HK, him staying at our condo and our house -- in my bedroom -- when hes in Manila.

i think its because one time, he visited me in Singapore, where i was living at that time with my brother and sisters, and they saw him serving me food before he ate... so i guess my sister told my mom that he takes very good care of me and that they all like him. my parents know how well taken cared off i am -- i almost never had to pay for anything when we lived together.

my 2 year old niece loves him too. its cute, every time she sees him, she runs to him for a hug and clings onto him that its so hard to pull her away.

Haha! Parang ako yung lalake eh 'no? =)) I haven't met my boyfriend's parents kasi nasa province sila.

Binibiro na magpakasal na kame, mommy doesn't like any of my exes so surprisingly he likes my bf now.

I believe na isang sign that you and your guy are up for something good, is if the people you love are happy for the relationship. Hindi kase pwedeng hindi sila agree lalo na if immediate family kase you will have to deal with them for the rest of your life if ever makasal kayo.

As for me and my partner, my family really really likes him. He's treated like family na din talaga kahit na mahigit one year pa lang kami, lalo na mga Ate ko kase very close din sya sa kanila. I'd like to believe his family likes me too. Sobrang bait nila sa akin. His mom is very sweet. I seriously could not ask for anything more.

Okay naman sila kay bf, to think na siya lang pinakilala ko in my whole life ever! Haha. Hehe)

I just realized na mas important sa bf ko kung anong perception sa kanya ng family ko, as i am concerned with his family's perception of me.

After nung first time nya nameet mom ko (nameet nya na the rest of my family months before he met my mom), tanong sya ng tanong saken ano daw sabi ng mom ko, kumusta daw first impression ng mom ko sa kanya, ano daw mga tinanong saken about him, etc etc. feeling ko mas conscious sya sa perception ng family ko. Naalala ko kase the first time n nameet ko family nya, hindi ko na tinanong ano sabi nila about me. Not naman na di ako concerned with my image with them, it just didn't cross my mind na tanungin pa.

I think my mom naman eh boto sa kanya that she even prays for us. Yun lang kasi, hindi pa sya annulled though we've talked a little bit about annullment. That's the only thing that worries my mom pero okay na okay si bf for her.

Hmm. =)

Ngayon Oo boto na sila. Nung una kasi, may BF ako na "manok" ng mom ko for me kaso yun nga nahuli ko nagCheat so hiniwalayan ko. NakaBlock na si ex sa phone ko sa he can't contact me, kay mom siya nakikipag-usap. Matigas ulo ko kaya ayoko talaga makipag-usap. A few months after that, may nakakachat akong guy at nung nalaman ni mom na halos inaaraw-araw ako nitong guy, she asked me for his credentials. I told her and she said, "Ayoko sa kanya. Over my dead body! Kay ex mo pa rin ako." I was so devastated as secret BF ko na itong guy before we physically met. LDR nga pala kami. Eventually, nagBakasyon din si BF, ayaw siya kausapin ng mom ko but her friend convinced her kasi mukhang mabait naman daw. Every time na pupunta si BF, they talk. Siguro unti-unti he won her over lalo na nung nagkatrangkaso si mom tapos siya lang nakaalala to bring a fruit basket. Kahit ako na anak di ko naisip yun, so humiliating talaga.
The following year, nalaman ni mom nag-aayos na kami ng kas bandang Feb 2015. She was so happy for me. Nag-uusap pa rin sila tapos yun nga may mom was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer nung June to July 2015 & she didn't opt for chemo & radiation therapy because it's too late na. I remember her telling me na it was a good thing pinaglaban ko raw si BF at napatunayan naman nyang mabait na tao si BF. So she died nung September 2015 and we were able to get her blessing. Our families met nung June 2015 but it wasn't considered a pamamanhikan pa as sabi ni BF gusto nya buong angkan nila pupunta. Whoa.
As for my dad? He is a man of few words.
