How about La Brea Inn? It's located just along Session Road. Near the market and Burnham. It's a decent accommodation naman and around 1700 lang ata yung rooms.

After our driving adventure to and from sagada last weekend, we stayed overnight at le Monet hotel at camp John hay before going home to manila. That was our fourth time staying at le Monet and I'm still overwhelmed by the coziness of their restroom. Usually we stay at the manor but now I'm leaning towards le Monet kaso their staff still needs training on sophistication. 2 weeks ago, since the manor and le monet were fully booked (we forgot to reserve rooms), we stayed at forest lodge. It was way cheaper than the manor but the rooms are almost exactly alike in terms of decor. Since the manor and forest lodge are practically siblings, I had our dinner bill at the manor charged to forest lodge. that I find considerate.

my family and i stayed at baguio transient house. malinis, safe and complete dining and kitchen facilities with free wifi. the owner even gave small toys to my kids pagdating namin. nice place to stay although 5 minutes away from the city, but no problem with us kasi we have our car naman to go around.

dec_girl, me alam ka ba na transient house na malapit lang sa tourist destination?  Wala kasi kaming car. Hihi  Kasi we've been looking.  Un tinatawagan namin di naman sumasagot.  Budget sana is 300.00-700.00 per person.

^if you have backread this thread sis, try back reading previous threads para hindi redundant ang query mo. Try researching on hotels in kisad area too. Much much cheaper and I think there's even some kind of a dormtel (kisad hotel).

we are planning to go to baguio early june, pwede ba mag kontrata na lang kami ng taxi para ipasyal kami to some places? wala kaming dalang car. para ma solo namin at kami lang kasi mag asawa and 2 kids (9yo and 2yo). dati nag rent kami ng jeep medyo marami naman kasi kami that time. any suggestions?

Nakadeposit na kami ng P1500 sa baguio transient house but a patient told me na malayo daw yun sa city proper. Nagchange kasi ng plans about transpo so commute na lang kami. Has anyone stayed sa baguio transient home sa crystal cave nang walang dalang sariling transpo?

If hassle talaga, we might forego the deposit we made and choose either La Brea or the David Transient House in City Camp Proper. Any thoughts?

Although everything in Baguio can be considered "walking distance" (this one came from a Magtataho), Crystal Cave would be a bad choice if youre not bringing a private ride with you. Every other place in Baguio is gonna be just 5 minutes away from zee heart of the city, so look for something around Kisad, City Camp or downtown.

^@tinmuning i'm not sure kung san banda ang Baguio transient home in crystal cave. Pero Crystal cave is
       a bit far kasi..City Camp Proper is nearer the town mismo. La Brea is located at Session Rd.
       Pero it's still up for you to judge..

I dont personally recommend going to Crystal Cave, the cave that is.
Parang it's too  short and i dont see anything fancy about it.

It's just me saying since i've seen so much better caves than crystal cave.

Sis, crystal cave is not that far. You can always ride a taxi (mura lang naman taxi dun) and meron din jeepney.

La brea is near the city. okay din naman. pero staying in city camp is like staying in crowded street of manila. di mo maramdaman na nasa baguio ka (aside from mas malamig)

Thanks to those who replied. We're 8 in the group so hassle talaga magcommute since we have to look for transpo na kasya kaming lahat. Baka mag- La Brea na lang kami para we're smack in the heart of Session Rd.

baguio transient house is not far from marcos highway, in fact pwede ngang lakarin yung road. crystal cave road ata yung street but yung mismong transient di naman malapit sa crystal cave, i think. medyo hassle nga lang if you don't have your own car, but baguio transient offers naman a van to help you go around baguio. you may inquire from ms. jhoie (the owner) about it. kami kasi from the city proper, we always take legarda road going back to the  transient house so di rin naman kalayuan.

If you want to be in the city proper area, there are so many choices of hotels along session and kisad. Most of these are budget-friendly. Try searching in agoda or tripadvisor for guidance. if you want near sm city, there's bloomfields hotel, venus parkview, hill station hotel ( the resto is really really good), el Cielito. if near the market fronting burnham, there's hotel veniz ( sa baba nito may mcdo and near ukay ukay haunts). At kisad, there's kisad hotel (which is really really cheap), city travel hotel, burnham suites. Taxi drivers are mostly honest and pwedeng kontratahin. Try asking mr. Google to assist you.

We plan to go to baguio this Mother's Day, we don't have a car mag commute lang so question lang is aside sa La Brea, what else is near the terminal? We have 3 kids kasi na kasama.

And sa Cashcash, meron din deal yung Paladin who stayed there? Ok ba deluxe room?
