Buying Toys For Your Kids

hubby bought another toy for baby yesterday, ayaw ko pa sanang bilhin  kasi dapat christmas gift na lang namin yun sa kanya...eh hubby kasi promised na pag gumaling agad si baby, buy sya ulit ng toy so ayun ang kunsintidor bumili nga pero sarap din talaga ng feeling seeing your child na super happy, at walang tigil sa pagsabi ng yehey...so now, hanap na lang kami uli ng pwedeng christmas gift for him...

^^ may nakita nako sis. I just couldnt decide if worth it to buy kasi feeling ko boring laruin. I wanted to know if kids play with it ba takaga. Di naman niya ako makikitang magplantsa o maglinis. Haha.

^ahh...kasi daughter ko nakikita niya ako daily nagva-vacuum at mop.wooden and floor namin kaso walang walis tambo maayos mabili dito so vacuum talaga. Importante kasi naglalaro pa sa floor,sasalampak or mahuhulog toys niya kaya I choose to clean everyday and it helpa na nakikita niya ako, siguro dun nagka-idea

don't get it if you feel hindi naman mae-enjoy laruin talaga,wait until part ng "pretend play" niya is attending to her doll's clothings para mas realistic di ba? Ako din pag na-cute-an ako,hala, buy na agad! kaya ngayon I do scour toys which I hope she will really play, never mind kahit hindi palagian basta purposeful yung laro.yung toy kitchen kasi niya to be honest, panay take-out the parts lang for now, hidi ko pa nakitaan na nilaro na ayon sa tamang gamit eh...

i rarely but expensive toys for my son. aside from ben10 and ironman na nabili ko na, sina mama and sister ko ang laging bumibili for him since super spoiled siya. pag ako, cd's ang lagi niyang pinabibili nowadays but since the christmas season is here na, i already bought him a few christmas gifts.... still looking for a NinjaGo and IronMan Lego sets.

Kami naman fan ng wooden toys. Thomas and Friends lang naman ang toy na ginastusan ko for him. For 4yrs sulit na sulit ito. Other than Thomas and Friends, I do not remember spending a lot for other toys. Yung helipad pala ng Cars2 na wooden din medyo mahal. Iyan lang.

What we do, ang mga gifts niya kapag bday niya and Christmas ay hindi binubuksan all at the same time. We remove the wrapper, yes. Pero we don't let him open the box lahat. Every month, naglalabas ako ng bagong laruan. At the end of each year, specially this month dahil December ang bday niya, nagbebenta ako ng mga toys na hindi ko nakikitang ginagalaw niya. Maingat naman kasi siya sa mga toys niya. Those toys na mumurahin, mga hindi ko maibenta, or wala naman value na, pinapamigay na lang.

On books, ang mga binebenta ko ngayon na preloved books ni ay alphabets and numbers. Yung mga story books nakatago pa din. I'll keep it until he can successfully read

does anyone of you have an ironing set (as in plantsa set) for your kids?

sa summer school kasi noon, this was one of the things my toddler liked playing with. not sure if it's worth it to buy for her. if your kids play with this, how old were they when they showed interest and how long did it last? ako kasi personally, parang ang boring naman maglaro non? pero my sister likes it for her twins.

My daughter has one, actually, heirloom of some sort. It was my ironing board (made of wood) when I was little, naitago ng nanay ko and now ipinamana na sa anak ko. May sticker tag pa ng Rustan's pero nabura na yung price. Nawala na yung mismong plantsa so ibinili ko na lang sya ng plastic (wala akong makitang wooden din). Nag-e-enjoy naman syang magplantsa-plantsahan. She pretends to iron her own clothes.

Blairbunny and beatrize zuri, dito na lang daldalan aboit the toys. sa pagka-lalaloopsy hoarder, guilty ako dyan talaga. Buti na lang my daughter loves playing with the minis now. Peanut and snowy are her favorites.

I have some toys in my amazon cart now in time for my next box.

I want to get a farm house. I was think if getting the playmobil 123 big farm house with animals. I know playmobil is durable naman but parang nas gusto ko pa din yata wood.

I want the le toy van farm house but at $65 plus an additionsl $20 for 9pcs of animals, parang masyadong mahal na. I might end up with the voila farm house din or kahit yung m&d fold and go barn, only $30+ with animals na.

Also getting m&d pattern blocks and magnetic dress up dolls that i held off on before.

Lalaloopsy coral is on sale now at amazon. Thinking of getting that din kasi a lot cheaper compared to here. Pati pickles and scarlet.

Kaso problema ko nanaman kelan ito ibibigay lahat. Bakit naman kasi her birthday is close to christmas. Hehe.

Blairbunny, if you cant return your scarlet and snowy, sell them to me na lang but pls let me know how much muna.

The m&d magnetic dolls are nice. Bought it when my daughter was around 2yo pero she only started enjoying playing with it when she was 4yo.

Does anyone have the boikido blocks? I read on amazon that they chip easily also are haba toys sold locally? Fell in love with their wooden animal blocks set but already ordered the fantasy lock set thru amazon

^ parang boikido is not as heavy compared to mga m&d? If so, baka madaling nag chip because of the type of wood used? Not sure ha.

We only have a boikido tambourine that has been played with roughly, thrown across the room, dropped many many times, pounded with whatever other thing she can get ahold of but ok pa naman. Not sure lang about the blocks though.

^^ yeah, nakakahinayang na bumili here kasi ang mahal.

clueless, Bea spells a lot is 77.90 sa amazon. wala na sya na regular price anywhere kasi nasa first batch sya. I really do want to keep snowy, siguro jinujustify ko lang yung plan to purchase Bea by thinking of sacrificing those two. hehe. pero I would still want to keep snowy kasi magiging rare din sya eventually. wala pa sa kin both, nasa US pa, if ever kasi matagal pa rin sila dadating kasi nagpupuno pa ako ng box so baka hindi mo na mahintay hindi lang ako makadecide now kasi we're going to HK din, tingnan ko rin kung ano ang available lala's dun. basta I'll keep you posted. let me know din kung hindi mo na natiis at binili mo na si scarlet hehe.

btw, nakita nyo na yung vintage fisher price toys na nirevive? ako lang ba nakakaalala neto? I remember the music vividly. sobrang nostalgic for me I had to buy it!

The dolls are cute but my daughter is still too young pa and I don't want to keep the dolls for 2 years waiting for her to grow up pa hehe

Parang the Laloopsy dolls cater more to adults tastes 'no? Naku-cute-an din ako dyan, but my daughter's not even giving them a second glance at the toy stores, so di ko rin binibili.
