if you want a frosting na magho-hold up yung shape when piped i suggest you try this recipe below. hindi talaga sya matutunaw and perfect ito kahit outdoor ilalagay ang cupcakes. medyo hindi lang didikit yung sprinkles if you want to put one. but if you press naman gently i think didikit din ang sprinkles. next time nga subukan ko dagdagan ng konti lang naman yung milk para dumikit yung sprinkles. eto yung ginawa kong frosting sa bday ng pamangkin ko: http://www.myadventuresinsimplebaking.blogspot.com/2014/01/adriels-7th-birthday.html

eto naman yung recipe:

High Humidity Icing Recipe (got this from Wilton website)

Ingredients
1/2 cup solid vegetable shortening (bought this at Chocolate Lover, 500g is 45pesos)
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter softened
1 teaspoon clear vanilla extract (bought Ferna 30ml clear vanilla, 35pesos lang yata yan)
4 cups (approx. 1 lb.) confectioners' sugar sifted
2 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons cornstarch

Step 1
In large bowl, beat shortening and butter with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add vanilla; mix well. Gradually add sugar, one cup at a time, beating well on medium speed. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl often. When all sugar mixture has been mixed in, icing will appear dry. In small bowl, combine milk and cornstarch; stir until cornstarch is dissolved. Add to icing mixture; beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.
Step 2
Keep icing covered with damp cloth until ready to use. For best results, keep icing bowl in refrigerator when not in use. Refrigerated in an airtight container, this icing can be stored 2 weeks. Re-whip before using.
