Water Bill and Electric Bill 3

our meralco is around 1.8k per month.
2 story, 1br
2 adults , 1 baby
* all led lights
* inverter ref 24/7
* inverter aircon ( 20hrs weekend if walang lakad, 10 hours on workdays except twice a week I  wok from home nasa 20hrs din ang aircon pag ganun)
* Laptop + LCD monitor during my WFH days, also pag nanonood ng movies
* FAWM - twice a week, 3 to 4 loads each
* fish tank filter 24/7
* oven - 4 hours a month average use
* 2 electric fans
* tv + tvbox - once a month buksan for a few hours,  no tv sa room then bihira kami tambay sa sala
* 2phones, 1 ipad daily pag charge
* bottle sterilizer once a day
* electric kettle 2 to three times a week

malakas talaga kami sa aircon kasi automatic lagi naka-On pag nasa kwarto kami eh sa bahay kwarto at kusina, laundry area lang naman iniikutan, walang use ang sala namin.

nakakatipid kami sa  plantsa -   dinadala namin sa bahay ni MIL, may plantsadora, hinde naman kami sinisingil for extra sa kuryente same thing as iniiwan namin si baby during workdays halos maghapon nakaircon si baby dun.

 I think ok na ko sa electricity bill namin.


water -  nakikishare kami ng linya sa likod bahay na relatives ni hubby. binibigay namin monthly fixed at 150. Never naman nagreklamo so ok na siguro or baka sobra pa.

Latest electric bill namin 750+ but prior to that after ko magpost nun septemberast year, naging palaging 1100 ang bill namin. Nung nagbakasyon kami for 3weeks nung december, bumaba syempre, parang 300 lang. Ineexpect ko na ngayon feb 1000+ ulit kahit wala kami ref or aircon. pero natuwa ako 750 lang hehe. 😊

Our electric bill for the past 3 months have been ranging from 4.5k-5k after we had our ACs cleaned. Prior to that kase 7-8k sya.

Water bill naman is 600 something.

Reading the posts on this thread, parang ang mahal ng electric bill namin.

We pay about 2k-2.5k a month, dalawa lang kami ni hubby living in a 1-br apartment at nasa office kami during the day.

Appliances:
1 pc - on for about 2-3 hrs every day
1 1.75 hp AC - on for about 7 hrs every day, 12 hrs during weekends
1 electric fan
1 induction cooker
1 rice cooker
1 ref
Wifi, chargers

'Yun lang. LED lahat ng lights. Wala kaming TV, washing machine at bihira rin kami mag-steam ng damit. Mukhang dapat bawasan na namin kaka-AC.

hi sis  ohcmon, i think because malaki ac mo. also, i believe na anyhing electric stove is malakas talaga sa consumption ng kuryente. everytime nauubusan kami ng gas and i have to use the electric stove, malaki dinadagdag sa meralco bill namin.

sa condo namin P550 average electric bill, all appliances are inverter plus induction stove. water bill -P18 plus centavos. hindi tumataas dun since we moved in.

pag aalis kameng lahat binubunot ko lahat ng nakasaksak, except for the ref. and kung may extension na may switch on/off. i make sure naka turn off. i guess this helps kasi pag may naka plug and kahit hindi naka on yung appliance nag co-consume pa din siya ng electricity.

also pag walang tao sa room naka turn off yung ilaw. yung ac 25degree temp daw pinaka matipid. i am very conscious sa pag gamit ng electricity. aside from saving on electric bill it can also help to lessen my carbon footprint.

^Grabe super mura naman niyan, naka AC pa kayo ah? If okay lang sis anong condo yan? Sa amin may minimum ang water. Kahit hindi mo gamitin you have to pay PHP220.00

^^Are you in Metro Manila? My brother has an inverter AC that they only use for 6hr every night and almost all appliances are inverter too plus LED lights pero ang bill nila with meralco is around 1500-1700 every month.

Isa lang masasabi ko, yung Meralco bill namin this month hindi makatarungan. Kaya hindi talaga ako muna magbabayad. Hintayin ko yung reading.

Sabi ng Meralco nagka-error daw sa bill estimation kaya wag muna magbayad. Magpapadala daw sila ng updated bill. Mukhang madami nagreklamo, akala siguro ng Meralco makakalusot sila.

Ako sis nashock rin ako ang taas ng meralco ko this may. Naka auto charge yun sa credit card eh

yung last post ko back in 2018,  1,800 ang average namin.
For the last 10 months , our bill ranges from 1500-1700 na lang, hinde ko alam ano nagbago, mas tumaas pa nga consume namin since March eh since ECQ, around 20hrs/day ang aircon 7days a week.
Expected ko din na malaki ang bill namin since ang daming nashock sa bill nila but ok naman so far yung amin, mas bumaba pa nga but I think kasi 2weeks kaming wala sa bahay nung March so parang naoffset lang din sa additional consumption ng Apr-May

Our bill came out on May 29th and it's a whopping 21k. I understand naman na it includes March and April kase 1k and 1.5k respectively lang bill samin for those months pero ang lakas namin sa ac (2 ACs, non inverter) plus, 3 kame nagwo work from home.

Hopefully we see a difference for the succeeding months kase nag change kame to inverter ACs. Im so nervous to see out water bill though. Wala pa dumadating.

Opened my meralco app, and my bill na ko for June, nashock ako sa laki ng bill namin (nausog ata sa last post ko hahaha)

nawala din sa record history ko yung payment ko from Feb to May
kaya yung total bill namin now is yung SUM nila.

it shows na huli ako nagbayad nung Feb pa.

I have screenshots naman of all my payments as well as emails na confirmed sila.

Hopefully this is just a glitch sa meralco system

Update: So it's not a glitch, lumalabas na kulang mga binayad ko in the last 3 months,

This June bill daw has the actual reading na daw.
I remember clearly na nabasa ko na yun sa May bill  "Your meter has been read and this reflect your actual consumption"

Even in the email for my May bill it says:
"Your May 2020 bill already includes all adjustments from your estimated March and April bills"

So ano Meralco? mali yung reading ng May? 

Nakakpagtaka why need i-remove ang history of the payments as well as the PDF copies of bill for the last 3 months eh for reference yun

Sa amin nag x2 ang May bill namin. Average namin is 3-4k/month. Wfh din ako since March pero tumaas lang konti bill namin ng April tapos biglang almost 9k na May bill namin to think wala naman nadagdag. Nabawasan pa nga kami ng gamit since nasira isang TV namin.

Yung isang relative namin nagcomplain sa Meralco dahil x3 ng average bill nila ang bill nila for May. Ang sagot sa kanila normal daw yun kasi ECQ, lahat daw nasa bahay lang at gumagamit ng kuryente. Parang ang estimation na ginawa ng Meralco e before ECQ nasa labas ang mga tao ng kalahating araw for work, school or other activities tapos uuwi ng bahay and dun lang gagamit ng kuryente. So nung ECQ lahat ng tao nasa bahay nalang at di lumalabas kaya 24/7 ang gamit sa kuryente. Kaya ang ginawa ng Meralco dinoble na lang ang singil hahaha.
