You can join broadway lotteries online (e.g. https://lottery.broadwaydirect.com/, https://hamiltonmusical.com/lottery/) or through downloaded apps. From experience, it was easier to join lotteries via downloaded apps. There are several apps where you can join broadway lotteries.

You can only enter the lotteries 1 to 2 days before your intended show schedule/s. This is important: the lottery results come out at a specific time each day, and if you win the lottery, you only have a set amount of time (usually 1 hour) to pay for the tickets online. No payment = forfeited tickets. This is where cellular data / wifi is important.

To give you an idea, during my 3 week NYC trip before, I joined several lotteries daily, both for the afternoon and evening schedules. I won in 4 lotteries, and watched 3. I didn't win Hamilton tickets, but was still happy with the cheaper tickets.

If you win Hamilton lottery tickets, you only pay $10 - $20 per ticket. For comparison, regular Hamilton tickets usually cost hundreds of dollars.

It really depends on your budget.

Think of this before choosing a hotel.
Are you going to stay for long? Meaning, ano ba yung itinerary nyo for the day?
Kung tulog lang naman, pwede na sa medyo mura.

When you pass the immigration and have your bags, there's a lot of Phone shop.
Most of them carrying all networks.
Unlimited is around $60 yata for a month, hotspot is limited to 10GB

I'm using an esim for my NewYork number and still using the Smart number as my primary.
It's good to bring a separate phone with you. It's very easy to roam around if you are connected.

budget for the hotel is around 150-200usd per night. mostly kasi mix reviews nakikita ko sa mga hotel na pasok sa budget. may kasama kasi kami bata kaya preferrred namin malapit sa subway at yung malinis sana. kaya im asking for recommendation na nasubukan na dito. thanks.

I would suggest Hotel Pennsylvania or Stewart Hotel for that budget.
Very near to Penn Station and a lot of brands to shop around! :-)

^  Look into Klook din kung di ka kukuha ng tourist pass.  Mura ang MOMA ticket sa klook.  Tip:  Ang Museum of Natural History is a "pay as you wish" museum.  You can give whatever amount as entrance fee.  Dati nga ang MET is a pay as you wish museum din.

Plan namin sa Brooklyn side para di ganun sobrang mas mahal. Probably Airbnb. Activities, more on Central Park, see Statue of Liberty, Manhattan, MET Museum, Empire State, mga sight seeing lang talaga. Mga 10-11 days lang. I need an estimate bduget lang so I'd know if kaya pa pag-ipunan if for November na. hehe. Thanks!

^some activities you like to do are free - central park, empire state (unless you go up), Rockefeller. Mahirap to give an estimate cost since we don't know your eating habits, how many you are travelling with etc. Best way, make a spreadsheet and list down the places you would like to visit - list down the cost associated with it per day eg. entrance fee if any. Getting a subway pass might not be worth it kung pwede naman lakarin or just use pay per ride. Food wise, what kind of food do you want to eat? Can you survive with just fastfood? On average, you can get less$10 at Mcdonalds. If it was me, excluding accommodation, it would be $100/day at least, could be less depending on certain factors.
