Question mga sis. Coming from the airport going to..say a hotel in orchard road. Ano mas convenient way to travel, take into consideration that i have 3 kids (8yo,4yo, and 17months old baby).
Yung Bus ba or Mrt? Mahabaan ba lakad ng Mrt and parang Hk ba ito na underground so we have to carry ourselves and the luggages sa mataas na hagdan? Walang lift?
Both super siksikan ba yung bus and mrt?
If both are not child-friendly, then i will have to resort to taxi or shuttle bus, which is super super mahal! The shuttle is Sing$9/adult and $6/child going to city, and large taxi naman is $60+.

^^ 3sgd for entrance to sentosa park via the sentosa express and another 2sgd for the maritime. 

^ Depending on your place due to changi road is quite long.  Check in google map the nearest bus stop.  You can try gothere.sg and enter "Changi airport to <address of hotel>".  It will give you directions on how to get to your hotel.  Everything regarding transportation estimation and direction is vis google map or gothere.sg

^Bus #36 goes to orchard rd.  It depends on the hotel, as i mentioned, if near the bus stop.  Also, by bus its an hour ride from changi to orchard.

meron bang pwede mabilhan ng ticket ng starmart sa orchard? iniisip ko kasi kung dapat bumili nako ng ticket going to KL online or pagdating na lang sa SG.. kaso lang sunday lang kami pwede mag-ikot.. help po.. thanks

hi mga sis... we arrived from sg last saturday... tired but happy ang buong family... =)  here's some comments sa mga pinuntahan namin:

USS : we went there ng wednesday. and konti lang ang tao kahit sabi sa calendar nila na peak yung week na punta namin. kaya pagdating sa transformers ride walang queue yung line... enjoy kaso nakakahilo for me... hehe  it was a nice day din kahit nagkaron ng short drizzle.  i enjoyed the waterworld show....rode the cylon roller coaster at superhilo after... pero ang saya ng experience...

Maritime Museum : Mabilis lang ang tour namin dito kasi wala naman masyado makita sa museum. Ma-e-enjoy ng mahilig sa artifacts.  Tapos mayroon silang mga mini-activities bawat section.  Nagtagal lang kami don kasi nagpalamig kami dahil super init sa labas ng museum.

SG Zoo : Napakalaki ng zoo. Hindi na nga namin masyado nalibot at sumakay kami ng tram dahil ang kalaban mo talaga yung init at dehydration.  Enjoy naman yung daughter ko sa wet play area nila.  Pang-alis lagkit sa katawan.

Underwater World and Dolphin Show : Di enjoy yung show.... Mas may exposure pa yung sea lions kaysa dolphin kaya parang mas " Sea Lion Show" yata dapat ang palabas. =)  Yung aquarium nila, maliit lang din. Mas maganda pa nga talaga yung sa Manila Ocean Park.  Ang lamang nila is may walkalator sila don sa tunnel.

Sentosa : Di kami masyado nag-ikot dito.  Nanood lang kami ng Songs of the Sea. So-so for me lang yung palabas.  Yung Light show sa Marina Bay sands, di namin naumpisahan pero maganda rin siya.

Cable car at Mt. Faber Park : Okay lang din... Sumakay lang kami dahil yung mga kasama ko hindi pa nakakasakay sa cable car kaya enjoy sila. Mas gusto ko pa cable car ng Ngong Ping HK.

We stayed at Strand Hotel sa Bencoolen. We are a total of 7 adults and 1 child. Isang room lang kami.  Malaki ang room nila.  At may mini sala pa... Yung daughter ko nakakatakbo pa sa room.  Ganon siya kaluwag.  Hindi nakaharang yung mga luggages namin kasi may malaking cabinet at marami silang counters na pwede pagpatungan ng gamit kaya marami kaming floor space.  May free breakfast na rin.. Nakakabusog naman.  It's a no frills hotel pero okay na siya sa amin kasi malapit sa Bras Basah MRT at Orchard road.

Again,  thanks sa lahat ng tumulong para sa successful trip namin... For those na papunta pa lang... Enjoy your trip and be flexible sa Itinerary niyo lalo na kung may kasama kayong kids.  SG weather alone is energy draining... =)

hi sis! ok ba magbook ng starmart ticket online? tnry ko kasi sa gothere.sg yung layo ng jurong east sa starmart offices parehong malayo.. 6 pax kasi kami kaya mas maganda ata pre-booked na ang ticket.. or meron bangnabibilhan sa orchard ng starmart ticket kahit sunday> salamat

i've checked the website.. hmmm.. I tried booking for a two-way ticket pero di ko magawa .. so I tried booking for 1 way lang muna SIN to KL .. nakita ko yung breakdown ng price, $30 tapos may $2.1 SGD na booking fee..

Then I tried naman yung 1 way na KL to SIN, in SGD din yung price ($30) plus may $2.1 na booking fee.

so total nun is $4.2 na booking fee na.. so mas mahal na siya diba.. though im not sure if the site auto detects that Im in Singapore kaya in SGD yung price ng KL to SIN.. if in your computer, the price is in RM then try to convert to peso and compare na lang with price sa busonlineticket.com

also, para ma-sure I've checked na rin sa busonlineticket.com 2-way SIN-KL is $60SGD + $3 booking fee.. so $63 per person.

Gusto ko rin yung Light Show ng Marina Bay. Grabe may video ako nun as in kinunan ko buong show nun.  Nilagay ko na nga sa youtube account ko eh.
