Sino na po ang nag-book ng ticket from CLARK to KL thru AIR ASIA?? Sa online booking kasi nila meron AIRPORT TAX na kasama worth Php 2,400 for 4 pax, un na po ba ang Terminal Fee?

Magkano po kayo ang babayaran namin na Travel Tax for 2 adult and 2 child? Wala kayang discount pag OFW ng ibang bansa?

we plan to leave kasi SG on August 20, monday around 11:30pm para tipid na rin isang night na accom. yung nakita ko lang na bus line na may ganung sched is Starmart. na try mo na ba yun sis? comfy naman?

bale darating kami around 5am sa KL. sa berjaya times square ang baba. ganu kalayo yun from kl sentral station kasi sa My Hotel Sentral kami magsstay? nakita ko sa isang site taxi calculator nasa 9-13RM lang daw depende sa traffic? kasi 6am pa ata nagbubukas ang monorail and baka hassle din may mga luggage kami. thanks sis.

Starmart is okay, comfy din, massage chairs and I think mas mura eto sa ibang bus line.
When we used this 5 lang kme passengers but the bus left on time 11:59. Theyre very punctual.

Pag baba sa berjaya times square around 6 am napakahirap kausapin ang mga taxi driver. They dont want to use their meter. Sa Ambassador hotel kame nagpareserve sa bukit bintang, We didnt know it was so near pwede pala lakarin. We were charged 15 myr after haggling from 20.

^^ Sis Winshe, nope. You will still have to pay Travel tax and Terminal Fee. I also booked Clark - KL thru Airasia for my trip last April and I paid both the fees and tax. If I remember correctly, it was 1620 for Travel Tax and 550 for Terminal Fee. I'll try to check my notes later..

May question po pala ako.. mahigpit ba ang mga IO kapag makikitira ka lang sa friend mo sa KL? I will be coming from SG pero ang return flight ko is sa KL LCCT. Ano ba ang dapat meron ka para maging okay sa immigration?

1. passport
2. pocket money
3. certificate of employment
4. invitation letter (pwede bang through email na lang or fax with signature ni friend?)
5. return ticket KUL - MNL
6. tour itinerary

^ the thing is for you to have the information sa friend mo, like where she is working, ano phone no. niya, etc.  or better if you get hold of a copy of her passport and visa, tapos may mapakita ka na she really invited you.  when my sister came, i told her to print my email to her (i stated pa nga don na i will sponsor her stay here, gave details of me and sent her photocopy of my passport and visa.  yong sa case mo sis, meron ka naman mga tickets, then no worries, dalhin mo na rin lang company ID mo kasi parang sa Pinas they ask for it sometimes to make sure na babalik ka nga, hehe.

better not take taxi sa labas lang ng time square.  meron don queue ng taxi na hindi naghahaggle, you pay by coupon so yong talagang price ang kukunin sa yo.  nasa may 711 lang ang kiosk nong taxi.

nag email ako sa My Hotel, may surcharge pala pag public holidays. haha. sayang yung 20 myr. sa august 21 kasi dating namin.

pero mga sis, question ulit. malapit na ba ang petronas sa berjaya times square? naisip ko kasi, habang nagbbreakfast mga kasama ko, pipili na ako dun para sa ticket pero yung kukunin ko is sched for the following day. baka kasi maraming tao masyado nun kasi nga holiday. bago kami magpuntang hotel saka para sakto na rin bukas monorail after namin kumain at pumila. di naman siguro hassle pag isang trolley lang dala? hehe.

^^^sis bebeloo, oo as long as you have the documents and information about your friend.  baka itanong sa yo phone no. san ang address, san nagwowork, ilang yrs na dito, etc.  better be well informed para masagot mo yong tanong ng IO.

^^ sis yellow_bell, pwede siyang lakarin, esp pag wala kang bitbit.  parang sight seeing na rin.  lakad ka papuntang bukit bintang (tawid ka lang sa overpass sa time square), then punta ka ng pavilion mall across ng bukit bintang.  from there, meron ng airconditioned walkway diretso ng petronas.  meron kayo trolley?  medyo mahirap mag-commute nyan lalo nat walang escalator pababa ang monorail kahit elevator.  inaayos pa lang mga elevator/escalator ngayon, even yong mga para sa mga disabled para sa mga hagdan.  pero as long as di naman mabigat, carry na. 

^ meron sis, it's called touch n go pero ngayon kasi bihira yon.  so alternative is the rapidpass card. used for the train lang and ilang rapidkl bus. you can check out rapidpass KL for more info.  ok na rin naman kahit wala kasi there are interlink stations na rin to the other trains around the city

^ nope, ang waived lang kung pupunta ka sa bansa where you are working, pero pa hindi ka don sa work of place mo pupunta, magbabayad ka pa rin.

1. sa Renaissance po pala kami mags-stay.  Do we just walk from there to get to KL tower?
2. magkakalapit pala yung lake gardens, orchid park, KL bird park, masjid negara, tsaka yung masjid jamek and merdaka square based sa googlemaps.  papano po yung best sequence (which site to start)?  saan pong bus stop/train kami pupunta to start or end the trip?
3. papano po kaya mag-commute going to thean hou temple? -- or taxi talaga?

Question, malapit ba ang Rainforest Bed and Breakfast sa airport, ano okay na sakyan, taxi? If yes how much and slang minutes yung Rainforest from airport. safe naman ba ang mag taxi at wala nanloloko? =/ wala kasi di ba airport shuttle ang rainforest or meron ba? Thanks!

^^^sis ashley, ok sa beryls, fave ko yong tiramisu don na dark chocolate.  di ko alam kung masasabi ko na mura or not e.  you can also check out the chocolate factory pero going there is by cab or kuha ka ng tour don.  di ko lang alam san yon kasi me mga beryl's naman at local chocolate sa mga stalls ng famous amos sa mga malls.

^^sis wkt, here's my answer:
1) pwede naman lakarin from renaissance to both KL tower and Petronas tower.  Pakilinaw lang ha, baka nalilito kayo, magkaiba ang KL tower sa Petronas tower
2) magkakalapit lang ang KL bird park at lake garden, etc.  nasa isang 'compound' sila.  from masjid jamek, taxi na lang kayo, nasa RM10 lang pamasahe.  alanganin kasi mga train stations going to lake garden.  una muna kayo umikot sa masjid then katabi lang niya merdeka square, then from there taxi na lang kayo.  paloob kasi ang pasukan ng lake garden e, tapos ang kl bird park, nasa other side so either sasakay kayo ng tram sa lake garden papunta sa mga orchid park at kl bird park don.  dati nasa RM0.50 ang tram, ewan lang ngayon.
3) taxi din lang pinaka-convenient going to the temple.

^ sis huit, ang airport dito sa KL is about 1.5 hrs bus ride.  If you have read previous pages, if you want faster and easier, taxi (mahal nga lang, baka abutin kayo ng RM70-90, then if from 12mn to 6am pa, me additional surcharge na 50% ang mga taxi fare).  or you can take bus to KL sentral, baba kayo don, then either take a cab from KL sentral to Rainforest, or from KL sentral, take the monorail baba kayo ng Raja Chulan station.  From the station, punta kayo sa may Hotel istana, diretsuhin niyo lang yong unang eskinita na ang katapat e park royal, tumbok non ang Rainforest.  Katabi siya ng Fatimah Restaurant (parang karinderia pero the best ang fish paste noodles don at fish head noodles).

both airport and kl sentral have their own taxi kiosk, at tama ang rate kasi you will pay your fare sa kiosk, they will give you a coupon.  sa airport, ang kiosk bago lumabas ng arrival hall (yong sa budget taxi, sa KL sentral naman, nasa 1st floor, bago mag-exit, akyat kayo sa escalator don sa may lampas ng mcdo, malapit sa parang 7-11.  never ever ride the taxi na nangongontrata.

Ano po mga malls na MUST puntahan talaga?
We will be there on August 26-29. Naka sale po ba yun?

^ sis, ang end ng sale sa September 2 so abot pa kayo.  There's quite a no. of malls here.  within the golden triangle (city center), you can start from Suria Mall after sight seeing sa Petronas (Suria ang mall ng Petronas), then there is a walkway na going to Bukit Bintang, which is the shopping area here.  Una mo makikita ang Pavilion Mall, then palabas is Sephora, tapos Sungai Wang at Low Yat Plaza (low yat is the IT/Gadget mall here).

There is also Midvalley Mall na meron ding 'Megamall' at 'Robinson' pero not related sa mga nasa atin sa Pinas.  ang area nito parang Eastwood ang layo from Trinoma siguro. 

There is also Sunway Pyramid, eto kelangan taxi ka papunta dito kasi malayo na siya.

wala pa kami mahanap na hotel. balak namin malapit sa malls pero hindi ganun kamahal and may free wifi and breakfast. yung madali din sana mahanap ng taxi.
