Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan Thread 17

please forgive me for not back reading...really need recommendations asap. Lapit na po kase travel date namin eh next week na po lipad namin to puerto princesa. With God's grace sana hindi maulan para naman ma appreciate namin ng husto stay namin don.

Up to now waley pa rin kami matirhan. Ang dami kase namin kaya iba iba gusto. Maraming specifications. Mahirap naman maghiwa hiwalay dahil minsanan lang ang trip na to.

Sa mga nakapunta napo sa puerto, please suggest an affordable, clean with big rooms, near the city and highly recommended nyo na accomodation.

So far Ive checked out the ff inns, pensions and hotels. SOme people shared what they know about the places. Can you share your experiences and inputs as well sa mga places na to. Para lang maback up lang kung pano namin mapicture yung lugar. Please badly needed. Pasensya na

- Ysabelle Mansion (within the road, wala raw bakod. So feeling ng iba hindi safe?)
- Mercedes bed and breakfast (nice place and big rooms kaso kulang sa wow factor?)
- Garcillano Inn
- Hotel Centro (maganda, mahal pero maliit ang rooms? totoo ba?)
- Marianne Home Inn
- Deep Forest (big rooms, medyo pricey and baka raw malamok kase garden ang set up?)
- La Charica Inn
- Villa Manuel (big rooms daw and affordable)

We only spent 3500/pax all in.. DIY kasi kami kaya nakamura. Tumira kami sa isang transient house for 4D/3N.. skip kami sa Honda Bay dahil medyo may takot pa ang mga kasama ko sa island hopping dahil sa nangyari samin sa Calaguas nung March.. hahaha!

Maganda sa Palawan mga sis. Natural na mababait ang mga tao.. 

sis san san kayo nakarating sa budget na 3500? kasama na din ba firefly watching jan?

i need feedbacks about 67th heaven holiday resort. boyfie and i are planning to stay there.

also, ano pa ba ang pwedeng place to stay in palawan?
we are looking for a place na may private beach where we can just laze around and just chill. somewhere na may restaurant and not too far from PP airport.

^^sis, pili lang yung mga activities namin dun. City tour, UGR, Ugong Rock and night swimming sa Angela's Pool and Farm. Ayaw ng mga kasama ko ng firefly watching kasi madami naman daw nun samin.. haha! ayun.

We stayed sa Prima Residences sa may Sta. Monica. May kitchen na rin sya kaya medyo nakatipid kami sa food. Nagluluto kami ng dinner at breakfast namin so lunch lang ang gastos namin sa labas.

for me sis mahal yan kase ang budget ko for our planned trip including tours is around that, 6-7k per person and 4d.3n na yun.  marami naman na murang airfare ngayon na 2012 din ang travel date and if you are not choosy sa hotel or inn you can get a cheaper one. para you have an idea here's what i gathered so far:

1600 per night sa ysabelle mansion good for 3 people
1400 sa underground river
1200 honda bay
500 city tour
1100 firefly watching

im still waiting for sis tiara's reply if her package is cheaper pero baka matagalan. based on her tweets she seemed like she's facing some family problems now, i hope though that she'd be okay soon.

but from the name of the hotels mukhang pricey yung mga yun so maybe mura na nga yang bigay sayo,  i hope other gtalkers can help you out as well

Sis gquind- salamat sis! Tinatry ko din talaga maghanap hanap ng mura... August ang target date namin since nun palang kami pauwi ng asawa ko and if makakamura na pagdating nalang dun saka kami hanap ng place to stay pra makapili. So bale ang plane fare is 3k then yung 4k mo sis para sa tours yun at accommodation?

sis chedz, yes sis 3k sa airfare and accommodation or less then 4200 or less sa tours.  sa airfare kase max target ko is 1600 RT hehe. plus max accom at 1600 din. ay aabot din pala ko ng 7400 haha

chedz.03 - i think mahal yung all-in package mo hindi pa kasama yung tours. yung nakuha kong package with tours sa Marianne Home 5,100 4D/3N na excluding airfare.

 sis sexy- on going pa ba ang package na yan sa Marianne? nagcheck din kasi ako ng airfare sa Cebu Pacific and ang cheapest nila is 1,499 one way lang. sold out na kasi mga seat sale nila...

chedz.03 - nag ooffer talaga sila ng tour package. Nakakuha kasi ako ng promo sa airphil.

yezzi - nov pa travel naman, kaya wala pa akong masyadong feedback. Yung ibang mga sis natin dito dun sila nagstay, according to them ok na naman. try to backread sis. may mga feedback din sila. Mabilis sila magreply sa mga queries ko. 

gquind_rn - been transacting to them since March pero di pa ko nagDP nun. tapos nung binalikan ko yung website nila nagincrease nga pero minimal lang naman. Nag-email ulit ako sa kanila to confirm yung booking, binigay pa din niya sa akin yung old rate nila. Kaya natuwa talaga ako.

Just got back from our Puerto Princesa trip!!!
Nice ang weather, hindi masyado mainit, though may some parts during the city tour na umulan..
We had a nice time during our Underground River tour!

sis, malamok talaga sa Puerto princesa.. kasi madaming puno. dala kayo ng madaming OFF lotion. ^_^ ilan ba kayo? mahirap talaga kapag malaking group. kahit wala sa city yung hotel accessible naman sa yung mga lugar dun.

Planning to say there coz my 30% discounts sa mga Medicard Cardholder eh ..
i checked their website and their just asking for not more than a thousand for reservation then yung balance is upon arrival which is very nice.. . gusto ko lang makabasa ng feedback about them.. .
